Carly watched Max having fun flying with a small smile on her face. It had been a while since she had fun like that.

Alex headed to the hospital, intent on seeing Yugito and glad that she didn't have much of a cold-shoulder to humans anymore...at least that was what Jean and Max said, which he believed.

Taylor practiced some hand to hand combat techniques that Sora had learned. He was glad to be spending time with his Bishie.

The nurse on duty let Alex in and watched him knock on the door to Yugito's room.

"Come in," Yugito said with her back to the door as Alex did so.

Simon trained with Renamon ,knowing if things got bad they both would both have to be ready.

Yugito turned around and saw Alex standing there. "Alex? What are you doing here?" She asked, surprised.

"I wanted to check up on you, make sure that you're okay," Alex replied, hoping he wasn't embarrassing Yugito in any way and if he was, would leave. However, before he could ask if he was bothering her, she started speaking again. However, it was so low that Alex didn't hear it at first and asked for her to repeat it.

"I'm sorry..."

Max flew from tree to tree and had heard some talking nearby. She hid in the branches hoping to hear what the two people below were saying.

"Do you really think those buffoons can get this job right?" A man asked as the other man just sighed and shook his head. The first man sighed and said that he agreed, thinking that Chris and Nick were just going to screw it up again. Not only had their experiments going well for the past couple of days. "I guess if you want a job done correctly, you have to do it yourself. Besides...how hard could it be to kidnap a Bishie that's in the hospital?" he asked rhetorically to the person next to him.

Max kept still and hidden as she listened. She had to get back to Carly and the others , but didn't want the two beneath her to know she was there.

The two didn't know they were being watched by the avian above them and talked for a few more moments before heading off into the distance. They would have to do this soon...and while that pesky trainer wasn't there. Why did he have such a bond with a wild Bishie? Perhaps they could take him as well and test the bond...

"You don't have to apologize to me Yugito, honest." Alex said as the young woman sat down on the hospital bed.

"But I do...at least for me. I treated you like a cat would to a mouse before eating it and yet...you never once lashed out at me, stormed out of here, yelled at me, or anything like that," Yugito explained, her face lowered in shame.

"Would yelling at you have changed anything?" Alex asked, causing her to look up at him with surprise all over her face. "Jean and Max told me about the stories and frankly, I don't blame you for being defensive. I'm just glad you're alright now."

"Me too. I should be getting out of here soon. Perhaps...I could stay with you?" she asked.

Max was glad they had gone and headed back to Carly, worried that Alex was in danger.

Carly saw Max flying quickly towards her and wondered what was wrong.

Max landed and tried to catch her breath." I heard two men in the woods disscusing that they were going to kidnap a Bishie in the hospital. I have a feeling they meant Yugito and Alex may also be in danger." She said in a low voice.

Carly saw Max winded and was about to check up on her before she heard what Max said. Trusting what Max said, Carly brought out her Bishidex quickly and tried phoning Alex. However, the call wouldn't go through. Growling lightly in anger, Carly quickly handed Max her jacket before rushing through the forest, hoping to either get to the hospital in time or finding Simon. Hopefully Renamon could use her shadow teleport technique that they were famous for to get them to the hospital.

Max put her jacket back on and went to help Carly find Simon.

Simon saw Carly and Max heading toward him and wondered what was wrong.

Once they were close to Simon, both Carly and Max stopped before catching their respective breaths.

" Is everything alright?" Simon asked feeling concerned.

"No, it isn't," Carly said as she caught her breath. Once she did, she explained what Max had found out.

" I can use my shadow teleport to get you there. " Renamon said , sensing the urgency in Carly's voice.

"Thank you," Carly said, hoping that they weren't too late.

Alex didn't know what happened when he awoke with a nurse standing over him, checking to make sure he was alright. As he assured the nurse he was fine, he saw the big hole in the wall and that Yugito was missing. "What happened?" He asked the nurse who was checking over him in alarm.

Renamon focused on Carly and teleported the both to the hospital.

" We don't know exactly. We heard a loud bang , and headed to hear. I found you on the floor unconscious and Yugito missing. " The nurse said , feeling that something bad had happened.

Alex cursed as he got off the floor and made his way to his feet. Looking at the size of the hole he knew what had made it, but didn't know where the person who kidnapped Yugito was. He continued looking through the debris to see if he could find any clues.

"Alex!" Carly said when she saw him and felt awful that she had been too late.

Alex turned when he heard his name and saw Carly, Simon and Renamon standing behind him. "What are you guys doing here?" He asked, although a little anger came out when he asked them.

" We came here to warn you. " Simon said, not liking that they were too late.

Alex bit his tongue at the retort that he had planned for that comment, before thinking things through. "Thanks for trying to warn me. Now then...is there anyways we can track Yugito or her kidnappers?" He asked Simon and Carly. When he got back to the hotel room, he would ask his Bishies for any ideas as well.

Yugito slowly woke up and tried moving, finding out that she couldn't. Alarmed, she tried moving her head and looked around, seeing herself chained to a wall. She had no idea where she was or what her kidnappers wanted with her.
