"Me too," both Carly and Taylor said.

The police had found all they could and went back to the head quarters.


" Think we should let Alex hear about what we found?" Max asked.

"Sounds like a good idea," Taylor responded as they saw Simon and Renamon.

" Did you guys see anything strange? " Simon asked hoping he wasn't the only one.

"You mean like the scientists vanishing?" Taylor asked.

" Yea! That exactly. " Simon said. He was glad that he wasn't the only one to have seen that strang occurrence.

"You're not the only one, so you haven't gone crazy," Taylor responded before telling Simon that they were going to find Alex and tell him the news.

" He's at the hospital. But it would be best to walk there. " Renamon said, feeling tired after all the teleporting she had done today.

Simon nodded in understanding.. "Thank you for all the help today Rena," Simon said, using his nickname for her. He felt bad for making Renamon teleport so many times in one day.

Renamon nodded, knowing she did as much as she could today. " Alex is at the hospital keeping an eye on Yugito in case those who captured her try to get her again. " She said.

"Thanks for the heads up Rena," Simon said before asking if she wanted to rest in her bishiball or if she wanted to stay out.

" I would like to." Renamon said , knowing she needed the rest.

"Alright," Simon said as he returned Renamon to her Bishiball, letting her rest as the group of three humans and various Bishies headed towards the hospital.

" How is she doing?" The nurse asked Alex, when she made her rounds.

"She's finally sleeping peacefully," Alex replied, noting that she was having trouble falling asleep.

"That's good. She should be able to leave either tomorrow or the next day." The nurse said and heard a knock on the door.

"That's good to hear," Alex said before he heard the knock on the door as well, his body moving closer to Yugito as well as into a modified defensive stance, ready to protect and defend Yugito if the situation called for it. Before he could ask who it was, Jean called through the door, asking if it was okay to come in. Alex looked towards the nurse, waiting for her to tell him how many could come in at one time.

" Three can come in at a time. " The nurse said .

Alex nodded to the nurse before gently prying himself away from Yugito before slowly opening the door and closing it behind him before seeing his friends. Seeing his friends, he told them that Yugito was resting up now and that if they wanted to see her they could, but they had to be quiet and only up to three at a time.

" I'll go in. " Taylor said in a low voice and was followed by Carly and Sora.

Alex nodded and watched them go inside before turning towards his Bishies. "So...what happened? Are those bastards behind bars?" Alex asked. Jean and Zero looked at each other for a few minutes before Rikku finally spoke up. "Ark...they vanished. Someone found out we were onto them and pulled the plug," Rikku started as Jean continued where Rikku left off.

"It was as if they were clones," Jean said as the trainer frowned, biting his tongue lightly so as to hold in the growl threatening to escape his throat.

" I saw them taking boxes out of the building too." Max said.

"Boxes?" Alex asked, wondering just what was going on. "Then just who picked the boxes up, and what was in them?" Alex asked.

" That's what I would like to know. Something is missing , but I don't know exactly what it could be. " Taylor said.

Alex nodded at that. "Why do I have the feeling that this will come back to bite us in the ass later?" he asked.
