"Hey look Isa is back" one of the students from the Slytherin table spoke up. Who her parents were? That is another story for later. She almost had gotten chosen for Slytherin but the hat changed his mind. |
"Mom, lay off with the public displays of affection!" exclaimed Michael as his mom hugged him ferociously and kissed his head. "I get it, you love me and want me to write every week.
Mrs. Rodgers laughed as she bid her son goodbye. This would be Mike Rodgers's sixth year at Hogwarts. However every year when he left, his parents would make such a fuss about it like he was still going onto the Hogwarts express train for the first time. "Look for your cat again, Mike," their mother called as Michael got on the train. "He probably went off exploring again." As the train began to move, he searched around for a empty booth. He eventually found one close to the front of the train. He felt like this year was an important one for him. Not only was he excited to be a Beater in the Ravenclaw quidditch team, he would also continue his studies and love for magical creatures. He had finished his OWLS. Michael was an ambitious and thoroughly smart boy but he acted more like a Griffindor than most Ravenclaws. As he entered the booth, he saw a Siamese cat sitting peacefully on one of the couches filled with sun. " Oh, Alucard!" exclaimed Mike. " You were saving us a booth, I see." He stroked the cat and sat next to it, unfortunately blocking some of the sunlight. Michael smirked as the cat mewed annoyingly, stretched and then placed himself on his lap. "Needy cat," he mumbled as he opened his Daily Prophet newspaper and began to read the Valerie Cambridge article on preparations with the Qudditch World Cup. It was going to start up in the summer. Mike looked out of the window and took out a chocolate frog. He grabbed the frog before it jumped away and looked down at the card he had obtained. Gilderoy Lockhart. He had nearly three of these. He exhaled and grabbed his wand. It was a long 9 inch wand, mahogany and oak made with small etchings of ruins. When he finished the article, he let go of the frog and began to practice spells on the milk chocolate creature. He began to levitate is as it attract Alucard's attention and the cat watched it with patient yet attentive eyes. |
Shrieks were heard outside in the hallway as a dark red, king cobra snake was slithering around. Sliding under the crack of the door of the room that Mike was sitting in with his cat Alucard, it made its way up to the seat opposite of them and laid there, keeping an eye on the two in front of him in case anything would be tried.
King Cobras were known to be associated with rebirth, they were very popular in Thailand rather than Asia or places around it. After a couple moments a girl with blonde hair poke her head in the booth that the snake had gone in. "Oh there you are Ani, I wondered where you ran off to. Oh, I'm sorry, I hope he didn't scare you" the girl walked over to pick up her snake, however, the snake was making it easy on her. |
