An explosion of the children hospital could be heard from very far away. Some of the mutants that were children inside it were protecting other children. Gabe was there to check up on a mutant kid he was always visiting. It seemed that someone named Pyro shot fire out of his hands and aimed it for the hospital though he ran off the first chance he got.
Gabe quickly used his ability to the best he could, his ability allowed him to manipulate things, moving quickly he brought things to life to shield the children and nurses along with other patients. It was very stressing on his mind so he didn't do it very often, he had another ability but the choice to be able to fly doesn't work well when you fear flying.
