All Through the Night (Raine & Velvet)

Personality:
Ofelia is spontaneous and active. She gets great satisfaction from acting on her impulses. Activities involving great power, speed, thrill and risk are attractive to Ofelia. Chronic stifling of these impulses makes her feel "dead inside." Because of her spontaneity, she often neglected important tasks in order to pursue a newer, more exciting event. It is not out of the ordinary now for Ofelia to hop up off the couch and go for a jog or make a random trip to a store for something unrelated. As a kid she had very few opportunities to act on impulse or to be spontaneous. Once she left for college she liberated herself immediately of all the restrictions that had been put on her, and quickly adapted to being "free."
She has a natural drive to best the competition. She seems to admire and respect anyone who can beat her at her own game. There are times when Ofelia is reluctant to admit defeat, but she never cheats. Honor is one of her biggest values. It never occurs to her to cheat at anything, and she loses respect for anyone who does. She wins based on her own skills. To Ofelia, admission of weakness feels like failure. She admires strength in herself and in others. As far as she is concerned, she has no faults.
"Shock effect" is her favored technique to get the attention of her audience. Ofelia loves to be at center stage, demonstrating feats of wonder and daring. She is a thrill seeker, and does plenty of dangerous or illegal things just for the sake of doing them.
Bio:
She was born to an average, middle-class family. There was nothing out of the ordinary about her as a kid. Her parents had normal jobs and she attended a normal public school. In school, she always got average grades and her friends were average, too. Well, all except one. Growing up, she yearned for excitement and something to pull her from this blur of ordinary. Her mother disapproved of "living outside the box" methods, because her style just wasn't popular. Her father was completely on board and urged her to do whatever her heart desired.
She finished high school without any major hitches, and went on to college. Forensics was her major, but that always came off as unexciting to Ofelia.
One day, while studying for her classes, she decided she just wanted to be a hunter. She thought it would help with her impulsive desires, and she hasn't looked back since.

Personality:
Kyne is confident to the point of arrogance, and for good reason: he never fails a mission. He loves to be the center of attention, especially when he's showing off some battle skills, or bragging about any of his many accomplishments. However, he can be down-right irritating when he stops mid-sentence with some version of, “Oh, I can't tell you that.” Despite his willingness to boast, his secretive nature makes in hard to carry on an interesting conversation without him changing topics quickly. He speaks of himself highly, as most do, and he's never hesitant to tell a good story where he was the hero or victor. Thanks to his immense arrogance, he takes great pride in his work, and strives to do the best he can in every situation.
Of course, when there's nothing to tell, Kyne will tuck himself in a corner. If he's not talking about himself, what is there to talk about? He's introverted a good deal of the time; doing his best to think things through to the fullest. That being said, he's quick to rush into things without considering the possible consequences if there's something in it for himself. He works best when there's a reward involved, but the best reward, in his eyes, is high praise and recognition for a job well done. Kyne thrives on being told how amazing he is at his work, and he dreads the day he ceases to be amazing.
Bio:
Kyne was the son of a Spanish noblewoman who frequented parties so often that he had a chance to befriend the main host. He was even betrothed to the man's daughter at one point, but she disppeared at a young age, suspected dead. Having made friends with her father, he stuck around to comfort the man after the passing of his daughter. His friend had lost his wife years earlier, and he took it pretty hard.
It was at this point he realized his friend was a vampire. Kyne gladly accepted the offer to accompany his friend into the afterlife, to stay by his side for eternity. Of course, life happened, and him and his friend went their seperate ways. Kyne still checks in on him every now and then, but for the most part, he leaves the older man to his own devices.

Personality:
Eden is the prime example of a recluse. She prefers to stay as far away from humans and other vampires as she possibly can unless absolutely necessary. Due to her past it isn’t uncommon for the woman to become overburdened and retract herself mentally into the depths of her mind. She is shy, apprehensive, and around other humanoid beings she is very cautious. To make up for these ‘fatal’, in her eyes at least, flaws she is determined for the world outside herself to believe she is a strong, feisty, iron willed force to be reckoned with.
As a huntress she is a lethal killer. Precise, agile, and stealthy; often this woman is feline in her temperament when she, on most occasions she prefers to take her victim quickly and quietly, leaving them to their evidence and suspicions; although it isn’t unfounded for them to find a corpse in an unsettling manner.
Bio:
Eden was born the fifth child and only daughter to a Greek family in 1754 who, shortly after her tenth birthday, migrated to the still very young United States. Finding themselves settling down in the colony of Virginia her father and brothers become farmers while she aided her mother as a seamstress. The family lived happily and comfortably for four years until her mother contracted Scarlet Fever and shortly after died.
At the age of fourteen Eden was certainly able to pick up in her mother’s absence which seemed to do the family well; she kept the clothes cleaned, the house tidied, and even continued where he mother had left off in her craft. All seemed to be well with the loved ones around her until her father began seeing her more as his very young wife than his only daughter and youngest child. A month she allowed this to go until finally, completely heartbroken, she left everything she had ever loved behind her.
It was in a British occupied New York City that Eden found herself in the darkness that was vampirism.
