"Hidden In The Leaves"

Sasuke hasn't been doing his work this year in school, it is almost the end of the year as report cards get closer, Sasuke might not have a family but that doesn't mean he can just do whatever he wants. He starts getting caught about his work but doesn't care what anyone says or thinks. Now to make things worse, Naruto is trying to get him to let him copy on a test but Sasuke won't let Naruto. Naruto throws the first punch after an argument rises up and everyone is watching. So who better to break up the fight than the teacher right? Well let us see what Kakashiaka Mr. Hatake will do once the fight breaks out.

FIRST POST:

"H-hey Sasuke, let me copy, I didn't study, I was so busy with training" Naruto whispered to Sasuke as he tried to nudge him on "Come you're my friend aren't you?" Naruto Uzamaki was probably one of the most annoying students at school. There was several others, Hinata Hyuga was very smart but shy, she would be able to know things most wouldn't. Rock Lee, Lee being his first name was great in anything physical such as Gym or if he had to take notes, his determination took over his annoyance more than anything.

Then you have the other students, even Sakura Haruno, miss teacher's pet and a Sasuke fangirl whether or not Sasuke had wanted a fangirl let alone a fangroup. "Sasukeeee cooooome oooooon, pleaseeee" Most of the time when Naruto begged, people would give in to shut him up, so he was actually very spoiled.

Sasuke rolled his eyes when Naruto started talking. He really didn't understand why that boy thought they were friends. It wasn't like they ever did anything together. Except maybe train. But he only did that just so that he could fight. "No, Naruto. You can't copy anything from me." he told him.

He mentally winced when the blond started whining, though his face didn't show it. That was so annoying! "You can beg all you want. Its not going to change my mind." he stated, moving away from the other.

Naruto was moving closer to Sasuke trying to see his answers, Sasuke seemed to do well on these tests though when Sasuke moved away slightly, Naruto quickly tried to pull Sasuke back towards him. Kakashi was reading his Echi Echi Paradise book so he was preoccupied with that. Naruto kept trying until they both fell out of their chairs which got Kakashi Sensei's attention. "What is going on?"

Sasuke moved when Naruto tried to copy his paper. There was no way he was letting him cheat. Especially not off him. "Naruto's trying to copy my paper." he stated. There was no way he was going to get in trouble for this. It wasn't his fault, after all. It was the blond's fault. It always was.

"I WAS NOT, HE'S LYING" Naruto exclaimed decking Sasuke really hard attacking him as Kakashi sighed putting his book up but as soon as he saw Naruto hit Sasuke, something in him snapped. He had instantly moved over to the two boys.

Sasuke took the hit without flinching before punching back at full strength. There was no way he was letting that blond idiot get away with hitting him. And trying to cheat. Not off him. He wouldn't stand for it. "I'm not lying!"

Naruto was about to hit him again but Kakashi intervened as Gai popped in hearing a commotion "Naruto you will have detention with Gai after school for a 3 days and you must retake your test. Class is dismissed, you will make up your tests or continue them later. Sasuke you will have detention with me today for being late 20 minutes to class without a pass." Kakashi spoke as Gai lead away the unhappy Naruto who was mumbling about how Sasuke got them both in trouble. The rest of the class left to go home "Are you hurt?" Kakashi asked raising an eyebrow waiting for Sasuke to answer.

Sasuke glared at Kakashi. He was only late because his alarm didn't go off. But detention really wasn't that big of deal. It wasn't like he had anything better to do. Besides, Naruto got it much worse than he did. He nodded slightly to the question. "I'm fine." he stated. He just hoped the time would go by quickly so he could be left alone.

Kakashi knelt down next to Sasuke "Are you alright Sasuke? Not physically, but in any other ways?" Kakashi asked, being a concerned teacher, most teachers didn't care to be concerned, it wasn't in their place they said. Gai sensei and himself were the only ones like this besides a few un recognized teachers or the nurse.

"I'm fine." Sasuke stated again. He didn't like when people acted like they cared. He knew that people really didn't. No matter what it was that they said. They will never care. So, he stopped caring about everything and everybody a long time ago.

"Are you sure, you seem more quiet than usual" Kakashi spoke thinking back to when Naruto last tried to hit Sasuke after school and Sasuke gave back more than anyone expected. "well if you are sure then, just stay an hour after and you can leave"

More quiet than usual? What was that supposed to mean? "Alright." he said. An hour wasn't that bad. And it was only for today, right? So, this he could handle. Besides, it wasn't like having detention with Kakashi was bad. It was Gai you had to watch out for. That was no someone you wanted to be stuck with.

During detention Gai would make the students run laps over and over until the very end of each one. Naruto had 6 hours worth of detention. Gai liked to make his detention two hours long each day that they had it. It would make sure that they no longer would get detention unless they liked to run and he would be there following them constantly.

"Finish up your test, I doubt you gave him answers and even if so I am not in the mood to re-do a test for one student" Kakashi spoke adding "If you finish before the end of the hour, tell me" Kakashi knew that Sasuke had missed at least two assignments or didn't turn them in at least.

Sasuke looked from Kakashi to the test. "... I don't really feel like finishing the test." he stated. Sure, he hadn't filled anything in on the test. But that didn't matter. And it was one reason why he wasn't letting Naruto copy. He would just make a big deal about there being nothing for him to copy off of him.

"Well if you don't finish it, I have two assignments you missed or didn't get to and they are big grades" Kakashi spoke as he waited to hear what Sasuke would say. The sun was still gleaming in into the room as it was slowly starting to go down, it wouldn't be down until almost 7pm.

"I didn't do the assignments. And I don't plan to." Sasuke stated, crossing his arms and leaning back in his seat. He didn't care if he ended up falling the class. It didn't really matter to him. He could easily pass the class if he wanted to. He just didn't want to try.

Kakashi walked over to him after getting up "Why?" was all he asked, why wouldn't the boy do the work, why wouldn't he try, Kakashi knew Sasuke was a smart kid and knew he could easily do well, but, why wouldn't he? Only Sasuke could answer that.

Sasuke shrugged. "Just don't feel like it, I guess." he stated. "Its not like you could make me do the work." he added. There wasn't anything Kakashi could do that could make him do something he didn't want to. Nobody could get him to do what he didn't want to, so he wasn't going to start now.

"No, I can't. I can't call anyone, I can stick you in detention but that would be pointless after awhile, and there certaintly is no way that you are going to pass if you don't do the work" Kakashi spoke adding "I'm sure you don't care, it is simple enough to see that, but, you should at least try to do the work. It isn't that it looks bad on the teachers, but, you are proving to people that you are beneath them, proving that you are not as smart or strong as they are" Kakashi waited for the response.

Sasuke was silent as Kakashi spoke before his eyes narrowed at what he heard. How dare he say that?! But, he couldn't let people think that. It would ruin his reputation. ".... Fine.... I'll do the work..." he eventually said. As much as he didn't want to, he knew he needed to.

"Don't worry about the test, just use the math book and do the worksheets, thats all" Kakashi would excuse Sasuke from the test, seeing as he wasn't in the mood to even try to do the work. "Finish it today, even before your time is up and I will let you leave early" Kakashi actually had a date with Kurenai and didn't want to be too late.

Sasuke nodded and got started, still annoyed at what Kakashi said. There was no way he was going to let anybody think he was beneath them! He was far better than they were. Stronger, smarter, faster. So there was no way anybody was going to say otherwise. Not to him at least.

Kakashi didn't bother grading anything, he only had to do the tests once completed with them, Kakashi just pulled out his make out paradise book and got lost in it while Sasuke did his work. You could hear Gai outside telling Naruto to pick it up and go faster. Kakashi took a break and walked over to Sasuke "Is there anything you don't understand?"

Sasuke looked up at Kakashi when he spoke then shook his head. "No. I understand the work just fine." he stated. He worked for another minute. "I'm done. Can I leave?" he asked. He wanted to get out of here. He never did like being in a school. So, he was ready to go.

Kakashi glanced over the work, not even reading it, the grade was on just to see if it was done aka written not if the answers were correct "Yea, you can go home now. Tomorrow, as a heads up we will have an 2 page essay" Kakashi spoke taking the work and heading back over to his desk to put the grades in the gradebook "Before I add this, you had a 73, afterwards you will have a 96 in this class" Kakashi spoke adding before Sasuke could instantly leave.
