Sesshomaru settled in his chair again with the pup in his lap, just relaxing there for the time being. He knew the pup would be up and running around soon, he was just waiting for it. A little scratch to one of the small ears made Inuyasha mumble something and curl up closer to his half-brother.

Kris pinned him with a "I know what you're doing" look before she picked up Shippou, grinning at his whispered request.

"Think fast," she said cheerfully, throwing the kit towards Hisoka.

For Aura, it was just a matter of time until Inuyasha woke up and started to run around like a hyperactive chipmunk. It happened five days a week, for her. For the moment, though, he was just giving her an overload of cuteness. She couldn't help but try to cover another giggle, though. Sesshoumaru just looked so...domestic, with his little brother on his lap.

Hisoka's eyes widened, but he caught the kit flying at him easily. He hadn't been expecting that. Catching the kit forced him to go under for a moment, and he came back up with a couple of sputters before taking Shippou back over to Kris.

Sesshomaru quirked an eyebrow at her but stayed there for the moment until Inuyasha woke up. Once the pup did, however, he let him go. Inuyasha immediately ran over to Aura, jumping up into her lap and tilting his head to the side. He knew that they were at his house, which meant...

"Sister?" he asked, tilting his head to the side.

Kris laughed quietly, grinning at him and taking Shippou back. The kit looked like he was having a great time, and Kris just looked very amused.

Aura blinked. She hadn't been expecting that. Oh, she'd been expecting to get a lapful of pup, but she hadn't been expecting him to automatically equate her with 'sister.' She glanced at Sesshoumaru, asking for a bit of help.

Hisoka watched the two for a while before grinning slyly and splashing the two of them. Call it a distraction, call it revenge, call it both, but he took the chance to start backwards towards the shore. Although, to be fair, he wasn't trying all that hard to get back to shore anymore.

"No, pup," Sesshomaru said, looking rather amused. "She's not your sister." Yet. "She's just here for the weekend."

"Oh." Inuyasha looked briefly disappointed before he perked up again. "Whole weekend?"

Sesshomaru snorted. "Her choice." He wouldn't begrudge her if she decided to leave early or anything.

Kris laughed and splashed him back, letting go of Shippou to duck under the water, swimming over to grab Hisoka's ankle, dragging him back a little ways. Shippou just grinned and let the adults have their playtime.

Well, what the hell. She could stay the whole weekend, it was only a couple days.

"The whole weekend," she said, nodding to the pup.

Of course, she had no idea what she was signing up for.

Hisoka blew a few bubbles as he was dragged backwards, and came back up blowing water out of his nose. It didn't matter at this point that he looked something like a drowned rat, he was starting to have fun with the other two. Turning, he dunked Kris under the water briefly.

Inuyasha grinned, clearly pleased, and cuddled up against her. He wasn't quite ready to go running around the house yet.

Then he looked over at Sesshomaru. "Have you showed her yet?"

Sesshomaru's lips twitched. "No, pup. You can show her."

Inuyasha's grin was just slightly evil.

Kris laughed and grabbed him, dragging him down with her. Oh good, the cat was finally lightening up. Shippou just watched them, treading water and hanging on to his wood raft for the heck of it. This was too fun to pass up.

Aura blinked again and raised an eyebrow at them both, even as she wrapped her arms gently around Inuyasha as the pup snuggled up to her.

"Show me what?" she finally ventured. She wasn't necessarily sure she liked the slightly evil grin that she was getting.

Hisoka slipped out of her grasp and actually ducked under the surface on his own to gain some breathing room for a moment. He wasn't the strongest swimmer in the world. Once he backed off just a bit, he surfaced again to breathe and plot.

"The house!" Inuyasha piped up. There was more to the house than what Aura had already seen, and Inuyasha wanted to show it off, at least a little. Therefor showing off for Sesshomaru. Because he was a sneaky pup.

Kris let him have some room, flicking water at him with an evil little grin. He was the first adult she'd brought to the lake, and she found herself glad that she had. Sure, she'd brought other little ones with her, but never a grown full youkai.

Most of the time she figured they'd rather see her skinned than actually get to know her.

Aura raised an eyebrow. Alright, she'd bite.

"Okay," she said. "Show me whatever you like." Not that it was hard to indulge a pup, mind you. But she could tell something else was going on, here, she just wasn't sure what.

Hisoka grinned a bit and flicked water back at her. It seemed like it would escalate into a full-blown water fight pretty soon.

Inuyasha grinned broadly and jumped off her lap, waiting for her and Sesshomaru to get up so he could take them on his grand tour of the house. Which he had learned from his big brother. Sesshomaru was inclined to indulge his brother.

Kris grinned and kept flicking water back at him. She was having fun, and she knew Shippou was amused just watching them and half-laying on his wooden plank.

Aura got up and followed Inuyasha. Somehow, she knew everything led back to some sort of subtle manipulation by Sesshoumaru, but she was content to see where it went, for now.

Hisoka flicked water back a few times before following them up with a bigger splash. He sent a slightly smaller splash over at Shippou, just to let the kit know he wasn't forgotten in this little escapade.

Inuyasha led the way around the house, pointing things out. Clearly, he liked Aura. Sesshomaru couldn't help but be amused by the pup's attempts to help him secure a mate.

Shippou yelped and hid behind Kris, who promptly started splashing Hisoka back with a grin.

Aura let the pup lead the way, although she couldn't help but notice the slightly amused expression Sesshoumaru wore. Wasn't that interesting...? She wondered briefly what he was amused by, and considered asking for a moment before deciding to ask later on.

Hisoka observed them for a moment before shifting slightly to the right. Once he had a good angle, he splashed them both and then got out of the way of any retribution.

Inuyasha showed off the kitchen too, which was a professional-sized kitchen. Sesshomaru stayed at the back of the group, letting Inuyasha decide where to go. When the pup wanted to go into his room, though, he growled quietly. Inuyasha pouted.

"Not yet, pup," he grumbled. Inuyasha still pouted but then perked up when he realized he could go to Hisoka's room instead.

Kris leapt at him, managing to tackle him into the water. Again.

This time, Hisoka was ready for it, and caught Kris when she tackled him. He couldn't stop from going underwater, though, but he was much more preoccupied with his arms suddenly full of female.

"My house is tiny compared to this," Aura commented as she followed the pup around. "I can't imagine what it's like to live anywhere so... huge."

Kris grinned at him underwater. One of her legs had gotten around one of his, inadvertently. She hadn't meant to, but she wasn't about to complain.

Sesshomaru chuckled quietly. "We only use parts of the house on a regular basis. The kitchen, our individual bedrooms, and the family room, mostly." He shrugged. "My father uses part of the house for his business."

"I don't see the point to having so many rooms that just aren't used," Aura said. It was like a complete opposite of the house she shared with Kris: instead of a lack of space, there was too much of it.

Hisoka wasn't sure how it had happened, either, but he also wasn't complaining. He did somehow get them both back to the surface, though. Air was kind of necessary.

"Every room is used," Sesshomaru contradicted quietly. "My father has guests frequently, and sometimes his mother will have guests as well." He shrugged. "Perhaps not constantly used, but frequently enough to warrant the space."

Kris grinned at him and released him, drifting away slowly until, with one last poke at his leg with her toes, she headed back for the shore. Time to get out and dry off so she could hunt.

Aura just shook her head a bit. She couldn't imagine even needing so many rooms. It just boggled the mind a bit. She just wasn't used to seeing and hearing about that kind of lifestyle.

Hisoka followed her back to shore, a bit grateful when he was at least able to touch the lake bottom again. He'd officially filled his swimming quota for the rest of his life, pretty much.

Sesshomaru shrugged and let Inuyasha continue the tour.

"Can we go to H'Soka's room?"

"Hmm... Perhaps later," Sesshomaru said smoothly. He didn't want to invade the cat's private rooms, after all.

"Mkay!" And Inuyasha bounced off to go show her the arcade room.

Kris grinned and flopped out on the shore, Shippou settling in next to her almost immediately. She had to dry off, after all.

"Yes, you can settle down and sunbathe now, cat."

"How gracious of you to let me," Hisoka replied, a bit teasingly. Still, he stretched out on the shore next to her to enjoy the sun for a while.

Aura couldn't help but grin at the pup's enthusiasm and followed him to see what he wanted to show her next.

Kris grinned at him and stretched out briefly, making her t-shirt ride up to show up some pale skin of her stomach. Her eyes slipped half-closed as she relaxed.

Inuyasha bounced back to his room, opening his closet to show a very organized set of toys and clothes and things. The only reason everything fit was because it was so organized.

Okay, Aura was a little impressed at just how many toys managed to fit into the closet. She'd never been able to cram half so many into her own closet when she was a kid, and her closet had been knee-deep with clutter. She glanced sideways at Sesshoumaru; she had a feeling she knew exactly who was responsible for the unnaturally-organized closet.

Hisoka's eyes flickered to the bottom of the shirt before he closed them again. He wasn't peeking, not at all. No, really.

Sesshomaru smirked. "It was easier to fit things if the closet was organized," he said, quite calmly.

Inuyasha bounced up onto his bed. "Yup! Bwother keeps it clean."

Kris relaxed there, starting to purr quietly as the sun dried her off. She didn't want to move quite yet, but she wanted to go hunt, maybe show Shippou a few things.
