Kris nodded and sat there sipping her tea, twitching her blanket over her legs again. More for comfort than actual need of warmth. Although she was going to be human that night, which was just horrid timing all around.

Ah and Un both sniffed at her before butting against her hands, cooing. Sesshomaru moved out of the way, though he kept a close eye on the three of them.

"Have you given any thought to the places you would like to travel to?" Hisoka asked after a moment or so of silence.

"You're both so sweet," Aura cooed as the two heads essentially acted like a pair of overgrown housecats. And that, she could deal with.

Kris shrugged. "Not really. I've been around most of this area. I haven't been to any other countries, though."

Ah-Un purred and cooed and chirped, moving up to her and nuzzling her, butting her gently. Ah wound around her to pull her closer, and Sesshomaru snorted.

"Then perhaps a vacation is in order," Hisoka suggested. "I know of a few places in other countries that are good for that."

Aura laughed a bit when the dragon nuzzled her, and she scratched behind both of their ears. They really were like big housecats. Almost the perfect pet.

"Such as?" Kris looked over at him, curious. She set her tea cup off to the side, since it was empty.

Ah-Un stayed there, quite happy to cuddle with her. Especially when Inuyasha climbed up to settle on their back happily.

"Scotland, perhaps," Hisoka replied. "A few places across Europe. Quite a few in Italy." He knew of several places they could go, but he wanted her to pick one.

Aura lavished attention on the dragon for a few more minutes before managing to slip away again and go back over to Sesshoumaru.

"They're adorable," she said.

Kris blinked. "Scotland?" She'd never even thought about going that far away. She looked over at him, curious.

"Adorable is not the first word that should be used to describe a dragon," Sesshomaru said dryly. "However, they like you." Which explained everything.

Hisoka nodded. "The country is lovely," he said. "Is that there you would like to go?" Of course, he would take her to plenty more places, but for now, one was good.

"That seems to be a bit of a trend," Aura teased him. "Your brother, your dragon..." And, of course, him, but that was a bit different.

Kris shrugged helplessly. "I guess?" She really had no clue. And, really, she wasn't in a good position to be making decisions like that.

Sesshomaru snorted. "Perhaps it's a good sign," he murmured. He hissed briefly at the dragon when Ah got a little rough with Inuyasha, and Ah made an apologetic noise. After a moment Sesshomaru nodded, and Ah nudged the pup again.

"Think about it for a little while," Hisoka replied. "No need for an immediate answer."

Aura watched the interaction, and actually surprised herself by understanding what was going on. Clearly, she'd learned a lot more than she thought she had since the courtship had started.

Kris nodded and shifted, stretching out briefly. She felt better now, at least. After a few moments she got up to go get more tea.

Sesshomaru nodded his satisfaction at that and sat down again, relaxing. He knew Ah-Un would behave.

Aura watched the dragon play with a bit of a grin. Things were never boring around there, that was certain.

Hisoka got up and went with her, although he didn't say anything about her getting out of bed. He was fairly sure she would settle back in once she got some tea, and had only gotten up out of restlessness.

Sesshomaru settled down again, content for the moment. This was something he could get used to.

Kris made her way downstairs, ruffling Shippou's hair as she passed, and poured herself more tea. But she didn't go upstairs immediately, instead sort of shuffling around like she wasn't quite sure what to do with herself.

Hisoka let Kris get her tea, and then gently touched her arm.

"Why don't you go and find something to read?" he suggested. "I'm sure relaxing would be welcome."

Aura leaned against him a bit, content. She wouldn't mind staying like that for a while.

Kris looked at him for a few moments before she sighed and gave in, going into the library briefly to pick out a book she hadn't read yet before picking up her tea and going upstairs again.

Sesshomaru hummed and slipped an arm around her, very content. His eyes slipped half-closed.

Hisoka made sure she had settled back down in bed before going to check on things around the house.

"Have you figured out that puzzle yet?" he asked Shippou when he saw the kit. The puzzle toy he'd given the boy was kitsune-made, so it was designed to be a challenge.

Aura sighed a bit, pleased.

"This is nice," she said softly.

"Not yet." Shippou made a face. It was very challenging. "But I'm almost done with it!" He thought so. Probably. Most likely.

"Hnn," Sesshomaru agreed, pulling her a little closer. This he could most definitely get used to.

Especially if the little hanyou running around were theirs.

"Alright," Hisoka replied. He could see that the kit had been working on the puzzle. "Have you enjoyed it so far?"

Shippou nodded eagerly. "Yup! It's interesting." He grinned briefly. And he was pretty sure that most normal puzzles would be easy now.

He was quiet for a few moments, looking up at Hisoka. "Are you staying tonight?"

"I was planning to," Hisoka replied. "Would you rather I didn't?" He'd thought that the kit had accepted him, but perhaps Hisoka still had a ways to go.

Shippou shook his head vigorously. "No." He was quiet for a moment, looking sheepish. "It's hard for me to stay up all night still." He looked at Hisoka tentatively. The kit was still used to sleeping every night with the occasional nap thrown in during the day.

Hisoka nodded in understanding.

"Then perhaps you should keep Kris company tonight," he suggested. "I will keep watch until morning." That way, the kit would be able to snuggle in with Kris and not have to worry about whether he fell asleep or not, and there would still be someone keeping watch.

Shippou grinned and nodded. That was a good solution to him. He bounded over briefly to hug the cat.

Hisoka let the kit latch onto him, and returned the hug. Then he lifted the kit a little so Shippou could sit up on his shoulders and not be in the way at all.

Shippou scrambled up there and stayed there, staying out of the way but still close to Hisoka. He wanted to get used to the cat, since he was expecting to be welcoming the cat into the pack.
