Sachi Ozawa was bored. She had been watching the movers all day getting her family's things in their new house. She wanted to explore the town before she had to start school on Monday. " Is it alright if I get my things for school now?" She asked her mom as soon as the movers left. " I don't see why not. "Promise you'll be home before supper? Your dad will be back by then. I'm going to head to the store and get a few things." Mrs. Ozawa said. " Don't forget your school information" Her mom said, handing the folder to Sachi.

Sachi walked down the streets of Karakura town heading toward the school. It was Friday afternoon and she was glad to be out of the house. She noticed there were more ghosts here than in her old town.

Ichigo was a bit nervous as he saw many of the undead beings around him. He hated hollows and had just finished fighting one not long ago. Hey saw a pretty girl he was pretty sure was new. He waved. "Hi there!"

" Hello . "She said and waved back. She had arrived at the school but was lost looking for the principal's office." Could you please show me where the office is? I need to hand in these papers. I'm Sachi Ozawa , by the way." She said with a small smile. She hated to be a bother .

Ichigo nodded. "I'll be more than happy to show you were the principal's office is." he said, trying to be as polite as he could be. "I'm Ichigo Kurosaki by the way." he introduced himself and walked her down the hall to the office. "Well...here you are. Want me to wait around until you get your classes? I cam show you were they all are." he didn't really know why he was being so nice, but lately he'd been kind of sad with killing sp many hollows. He always thought of how they had once been real people. He looked at her. She seemed nice and he needed a good friend. He decoded he'd try to be her buddy.

" That would be nice . Thank you. " She said with a smile and went into the office. She had turned in the papers and was given her class number , books and uniforms . " Could you please show me around Ichigo? What class are you in? " She asked him after she had finished. She was glad that he was being nice to her. She had been bullied at her old school about many things.

"Sure, I'd love to show you around. I have math this period." he motioned for her to walk with him down the hall. He pointed to a few classes and explained what they were. He looked at her schedule. "Looks like you have your last three classes with me." he said with a faint smile. He thought that was pretty cool. They could talk in those classes and they would have to be bored stiff.

" That's good that we have classes together. I better head on home soon. Thank you again Ichigo for showing me around." Sachi said with a smile.

Ichigo also decided to make his way towards the house. The school day was over by now and he didn't have anything to do after. He walked alone as usual. When he got to the house his jaw dropped. Sachi was his next door neighbor. He saw a moving truck being unloaded there and she was there. That seemed impossible that his new friend lived right next door. He went inside and set all of his stuff down. Hey! Dad!!! I'm going out for a while.." he called to his father. "Be home for dinner." was the only response he was given. "Sure!!! I'll be back then." he ran out the door to meet Rukia at a small park apparently there was going to be a hollow there. He saw the large creature nearly tearing Rukia apart before she moved out of it's way. It had caught her woth it's claws. He took the large sword off his back, slashing at the creature. He was glad no one could see him. He caught it once in the jaw, then was slung down. "Rukia!!! Run!" he screamed to the idiot girl. She needed to understand that she wasn't a soul reaper anymore, she could be hurt.

Sachi felt a strange pressure like feeling as she ate dinner with her parents. Afterwards she unpacked a few of her boxes before she went to bed. Sachi woke up suddenly later that night. She heard a screeching noise coming from the street. What it was she didn't want to know .

Ichigo finally killed the beast. His real body sustained the same painful injuries as he had in the fight. Rukia had escaped with only a small slash on her arm. He had a gash across his chest and his back. He also had a black eye that had swollen shut. Rukia patched the two of them up. Ichigo looked terrible, plus he was late for dinner. His dad was going to have a fit. "ICHIGO!!!!" his dad screamed as he walked in. The man looked really angry. "Hey..I fell in a ditch.." he knew that was a horrible excuse. His clothes were muddy and dried with blood. "Go clean up.." his dad said with a sigh.

After dinner Ichigo went straight to bed. He woke up early the next morning and was ready to go so he went to the bus stop:

Sachi got ready for her first day of school. She wasn't used to going to school for a half day on Saturday. She got in her uniform and grabbed her school bag. She saw Ichigo with a dark haired girl and she waved at both of them." Morning Ichigo! " She said .

Ichigo waved. "Hey Sachi..." he had a patch over the bruised eye. He gave her a small smile. "this is Rukia. Rukia, this is Sachi." he introduced the girls.

" It's nice to meet you Rukia." Sachi said. She and Rukia talked a little bit as they walked toward the school. Sachi met a few more of Ichigo's friends . It was nice to be around people for once. The bell rang and they headed toward class. Sachi introduced herself and sat by the window. The moring went quickly and the bell rang at noon to signal the end of the school day.

Ichigo was glad when the bell rang. School had always bored him. "Hey, do you maybe want to get lunch?" he asked Sachi.

I would . I have to be home before 3 though . My mom wants me to help with a few things. " Sachi said with a sigh. She didn't want to help unpack her brother's things . Kenji was 19 and in college . Her parents wanted him to have a room to stay in when he visited . Sachi was the only one, as far as she knew , that could see ghosts . She didn't want anyone to find out she could see them.

Ichigo thought for a second. "I think we can be done eating by then..what kind of food do you like?" he wondered what kinds of stuff she ate. Rukia was annoyed by all of the attention that Ichigo was giving Sachi. She was used to having his complete focus. "I don't know if we can finish eating by then..shouldn't we save it for a day when she can acctully stay for a while." Rukia asked in a way that showed how she felt.

Sachi could tell that Rukia was annoyed." How about tomorrow? It was good to meet the both of you." Sachi said as they neared her house. She waived goodbye and went inside. She helped her mom unpack more boxes and did her homework.

Sachi felt something strange in the air again. Whatever it was scared her and sounded like it was getting closer.

Itachi pouted, knowing it was Rukia's fault she wasn't coming. "Sure we can meet up tomorrow.." he waved back to Sachi as she went home. "Hey, I think I'll go home too.." he said quietly to Rukia. He too could feel something odd in the air and hear it too.

Sachi was tense as the feeling got stronger. She hadn't felt this type of fear before . She hoped what ever was outside her window would go away.

Ichigo ran faster to his house, wishing to get there as soon as he could.

Sachi tried to relax as she did her homework . She thought she heard a screeching noise .

Itachi heard the hollow and turned to kill it. It was large and he knew he'd probably get a few wounds from this fight. He sighed, knowing that if these hollows kept coming around he was going to look terrible by the end of the week. He had to wonder why so many strong hollows were coming so near his house.

Sachi thought she saw Ichigo fighting something outside. She watched as the fight took place and hoped he didn't see her there. Sachi had many questions about what was happening , but knew she couldn't ask him.

Ichigo sighed. He had finished fighting the horrid thing. He went straight to bed so his dad didn't see the newest battle scars.
