Jolene knodded, You have a brother and sister? Show us a little of your magic!

Lisanna smiled, Well, Mirajane and Elfman are my older siblings. We joined Fairy Tail when we were just kids, after our parents died. I was really young then and don't remember much. All three of us practice take over magic. Though we practice the same style, we each have our individual take overs. Mine is the cutest of the three. Here I will show you. I can turn into a bird fully, or just my arms or legs. Lisanna transformed into a bird. Then after a moment, she showed first one variation of that transformation, then the other variation. Then she switched back. I can also do some other transformations; rabbit, fish, tigress, and penguin. They are kinda cute in comparison with my older siblings. Otherwise all I have is a magic sword. Kinda a let down I am sure with some of the cooler magics. Mirajane can do so much more. And even Elfman has really neat traits. It is what I get for disappearing for so long.

Jolene frowned at that, I have heard you weren't with Fairy Tail for awhile. What happened?

The singing of the birds around them as the forest grow larger as they were further from town increased. Lisanna wasn't sure how to answer. She looked up at the blue sky in thought, wondering how to explain. That is complicated. Simply put, Elfman used a soul takeover he couldn't control for awhile. He hurt me in the process. As I was lying on the ground, I simply vanished from this world. He thought he had killed me.

Another person from another dimension had created a machine to pull magic from our world to theirs. His machine, known as the anima, pulled me from here to there when their version of me died. There was everything that is here over there, only different. There is no magic inside a person there. They relied completely on magic items. They banned guilds there. So Fairy Tail was an outlaw group. Through a series of events the Fairy Tail here went there and defeated the bad guys and saved the day. When they came back, I came back with them. They were so surprised that I was alive. And have kept close ever since. When Mirajane and Elfman learn that we have gone on a mission that wasn't on the board, they will worry.

And they will learn. Mirajane handles jobs on the board and making sure that goes smoothly. She had no part in helping set this up. She will be worried. Then Elfman will find out... and will worry.

Sara was surprised that there was a alternate world like this. She hoped this mission would go well. Not wanting Lisanna's siblings to worry too much. Sara knew this had to go well and wanted to do her best.

Wow, that is pretty insane. You must have missed each other so much. Jolene said.

Lisanna knodded. We are entering the wooded region where we should start being on our guard. Maybe we should start looking for a place to set up base camp. I noticed Jolene that you have supplies to do that. Jolene knodded in confirmation.

" Is there anything I can do to help?" Sara asked ,hoping there was something she could help with.

Lisanna smiled to Sara, "Yes, look for a good place to camp. If we come to a base of a cliff or a sheltered clearing off the main path that isn't easily seen, that would be a good place to set up."

Jolene knodded, "That sounds like good advice Lisanna. She looked around the woods.

Sara nodded and looked around for a good spot.After looking around for a while, she saw a clearing off the path that was sheltered by a large cliff." What about this spot?" Sara asked and pointed in that direction.

Lisanna looked where Sara was pointing and through the trees saw what looked to be a clearing. There was a cliff to it's backside that would provide shelter and a barrier. That looks like the perfect place. Good job seeing that back there Sara. Come on, let's get in there and set up camp.

Jolene followed Lisanna and Sara through the trees and into the cleaing. This is really nice. She pulled off her backpack and untied the three rolled pallets on top. Setting them on the ground, she opened her bag and tugged out the tarp. We will have to find and make our own poles. Vines can be used to tie them and the tarp together. It will be a good shelter though. Better than nothing at all.

Lisanna turned and headed into the woods. I'll find long limbs to make the poles with, she yelled back.

Jolene knodded and looked at Sara, I can make rope out of vines. Do you want to make the fire pit? We are going to need some good stones and kindling. Once we are set up, we can start looking for the yeti and his bodyguards.

" I can do that. " Sara said with a smile and looked around for stones and firewood. She remembered how her father had made a fire pit and went looking for some good sized stones. She lifted the stones and arranged them in a circle. Then she went to get some kindling. She looked around for some dry wood and sticks, knowing they would be good for the fire. Sara hoped she remembered the fire spell she was taught as a child.

Lisanna straightened up and picked up her prepared poles. She carried them back to the camp site and smiled at Sara's work. Lisanna set up the four corners. When Jolene walked into the clearing with vines, they worked together to tie the connecting poles to the corner poles. Then they stretched the tarp over the top and secured it. Lisanna sat down and smiled in relief. Jolene grabbed her bag and the three pallets. She laid the pallets underneath the shelter and then put her bag at the foot of one of them.

Sara recited the spell and the fire started to burn in the pit. That spell was part of the fire magic she knew. Her father had been good with element based magic and Sara wanted to know it too. She put her satchel near the pallet. " You two did a great job on the shelter. " She said once she had finished with the fire.

"You did a great job on the fire," replied Lisanna. "I guess we can stack up a lot of firewood, then go out and try to figure out where the base is."

Jolene jumped up, "I got it!" She ran into the underbrush to find a good armful of wood. They would probably want it when they returned.

Sara was glad they thought she did good on the fire. She grabbed some more firewood and took it back to the camp. " Should we stay together when we look for the base?" She asked.

Lisanna knodded. "I think that would be the best idea. We are stronger together. None of us are S-Class Mages and this yeti and his goons sound pretty tough." She helped Sara and Jolene stack the wood. She remembered the last S-Class examination and how everyone had been divided and split up. They had been easily beaten until they had started working together.

Jolene looked around the campsite and smiled. It was set up and ready for them when they returned. She looked back towards the road. "Well we better get going. Is everyone ready?" she asked and turned to look at Lisanna and Sara. The three of them were a team. She felt a sense of excitement building up in her.

" I'm ready. " Sara said grabbing her bag. She knew that they would be stronger together as a group. Working with others was new to Sara.

They headed back to the path and down the road again. The trek started getting rougher. More potholes and rugged cracks. They walked past some old and weathered farms that had been abandoned long ago. The trees became larger, knobbier, and more rough. Huge tree roots, brown and twisted, rose from the ground in natural arches. Branches spread across the overhead. Vines wrapped around the branches and dangled down. As they walked along, it was noticeably getting colder. The terrain was sloping upward gently.

Sara had the feeling they were getting close to something and tensed up when she heard a loud noise in the distance. " You think we might be getting closer?" She whispered.

Jolene had crouched and raised an arm, eyes wary, when she heard a loud noise ahead. She slowly stood and looked around. We must be getting close. Let's keep our eye... mid sentence she flew backwards and landed hard on her back. Gasping she looked up in surprise. Jumping from the trees around them were goons. Bodyguards of the Yeti. They didn't use a technique she readily recognized.

Lisanna had ran to Jolene when Jolene had be knocked back. Now she whirled to face the opponents, and watched hesitantly. It was hard to figure them out. They had swords strapped to their sides, but weren't using them. It was like they could might with invisible weapons instead. Then it hit her, a strong single windy blow that knocked her down. She realized what it was. Despite losing her breath, she groaned out, Air magic... they are fighting with air.

Sara ran to Jolene when she was knocked back. Sara didn't recognize the type of magic the bodyguards use as she was also knocked down.She had to get a barrier up to to protect herself and her friends but couldn't stay on her feet long enough to draw a line.

Jolene sat up and then rolled. Jumping up, she leapt into the air, "Water Dragon Shield! Landing on her feet, she rotated the wall over water around them. Knocking the bodyguards that were too close down and blocking any wind attacks that had been sent her way.

Lisanna stood up and ran over to Sara. Crouching down, she put a hand on Sara's shoulder and helped her up while watching the bodyguards. Jolene couldn't cover all the directions as once.

Sara carefully got up and thanked Lisanna for helping her up . Sara kept an eye on the bodyguards also and drew a line in front of her." Ground Barrier 7! " She said , hoping she could control this barrier. She had only practiced it and could hold it for about ten minutes.

Lisanna used soul take over to turn into a large bird. Rising into the air, she watched the attacking bodyguards' hands to predict when the air barrage would hit where. Then dodging those attacks she flew in and physically attacked one of them. Close quarter combat turned out to be their disadvantage. Clutching one bodyguard's arm, she began beating on him and rendering him unconscious.

Jolene gave one last spin of her shield, then pushed it forward into a cluster of bodyguards. Gathering her hands in from of her face she yelled, Water Dragon Roar! Blowing hard between her cupped hands, a magic circle appeared in front of her and water shot out in a fast and deadly stream into the air. Squarely hitting the same cluster of bodyguards she had knocked back with her shield, she rendered them unconscious.

Sara knew she had to up the level of the barrier and said." Barrier level 8!" and she then pushed forward with her hands. That sent the guards backward knocking them unconscious. She felt tired after using a barrier that she had never used before.

Lisanna returned to human form and crouched, waiting. Her eyes roamed over the trees and she listened for any more wind attacks. She felt her heart racing and forced the extra energy to help her focus.

Jolene straightened and looked around. They were all down and out. She let out a soft sigh and relaxed. With their magic energy drained, they would not be able to fight again for several days. She grinned at that thought.

Sara kept an eye out for anything strange, not sure if there were more bodyguards around . She still heard the growling in the distance , and assumed it was the yeti they had to fight.

Jolene turned a full circle. No one was in sight, or at least no one was attacking. Let's be careful. Spread out a little so we are not clustered, she said as she slowly started walking forward again. Lisanna knodded and moved off to one side. She wondered if that fight had been just a bit too easy. They were goons though, usually whoever they worked for tried to wear out enemies before they had to fight themselves.
