Ice-Make Lance - Shoots a lance from arm towards opponent. Range attack too.

Ice-Make Shield - Creates a flower-like shield that protects everything behind it.

Raised my her grandparents. Learned her magic at the local library. Left home in search of a guild. Fairy Tail's rising popularity attracted her. Natsu sealed the deal.

Name: Alexis Star, Lex for short

Magical Focus: Fire Mage

Fire breath – Good for long range attacks.
Fire ball – Created from the friction of rubbing her hands together.

Defenses:
Fire dagger – an ordinary looking dagger except that the blade looks like a flattened flame. When she’s using it to defend herself the metal blade turns into fire.

Bio:
The child of a single parent, Alexis was raised by her mother who was a member of a traveling group of gypsies.
Danica, Alexis’ mother, is best known in the gypsy camp as a fire dancer. Of course this ability is due to her power and ability with Fire magic. Alexis learned most of what she knows from her mother.
Alexis parted ways with her mother and the gypsy group because Alexis insisted on making some kind of life of her own. The split was peaceful but sad.
Now on her own Alexis is learning how to take care of herself and protect herself with the use of her fire magic.

Companion:
Nix – Similar to a witches’ familiar Nix has become a close and trusted friend to Alexis and tags long with her on her travels. The few tricks magic she knows come from the magical tokens she carries.

Ann walked into Magnolia from the ship that she had come in on. The harbor was a large and peaceful place full of blue water and cheery skies. She headed up to the port master and asked about the magic shops in town. He directed her to a large one nearby. She headed there with curiosity. There was a guild here by the name of Fairy Tail. She was sure that since this city had mages, that there would be plenty of merchandise for those who practiced magic.

Opening the door, she walked into with a proud stance. The owner of the shop looked up and greeted her, Hey there yound miss. What would you be interested in today? She grinned and asked, I was curious what items you might have for sell?" He knodded and thoughtfully looked at some stuff under his counter. How about a ColorS Box? Most girls enjoy having such a magical device around. You can change the color of your outfit easily. She rolled her eyes, Have one. Well then, how about Gale Force Reading Glasses? he asked. She thought about the numerous hours studying at the library. The sighed. Have those too. Look, don't you have anything original and not so common? He laughed, But of course! This is Magnolia! The friendly town that holds and embraces Fairy Tail. How could we not strive to carry something of more value than these mere trinkets. But they are not for young ones such as yourself.

Her eyes narrowed. He didn't realize she was a mage. Well, only 10% of the population actually practiced magic. Still, why else would she be here? She stared at him with an intense gaze. His eyes widened in understanding. He stammered, Oh but for one with your abilities, perhaps something a little more powerful. He left the counter and walked down one of the aisles. Coming to the lacrima, he sorted through them. You wouldn't be interested in a movie sphere. Perhaps storage or communications... let's see... aha! He turned to her and offered what looked like a necklace with matching ear rings. Only the necklace was made of small lacrima and the ear rings consisted of a lacrima each. Both are expensive, but I think you will find them worth their price. The necklace allows you to store your own energy. This way, as you replenish your body you can move spare energy here for later use. The two balls that resemble ear rings are in fact communication lacrima. Place one in the hilt of your sword and have the other in a location you may wish to contact. She listened and was satisfied. Finally.

She paid for both and quickly equipped both items. She looked around the shop one last time and then headed outside. Walking brisking down the street and around the corner, she bumped into someone knocking them both down. A red head youth looked at her and she looked back. They both stammered an apology to each other just as another red head came storming down the street. She was pretty upset looking, Natsu! You are in trouble. He cringed.

Lex sat with her back pressed up against outside wall of a bakery, Nix sat beside her. They both relaxed and enjoyed some piece of bread that Lex had gotten for them.

When she had finished she looked down at Nix who had curled up beside her and fallen asleep. Hearing a quarrel start she looked up and spotted a small group of people further down the street. She nudged Nix and got to her feet. Come on this might need our attention she said straightening her clothes. Nix yawns and rubs his eyes before climbing up Lex to sit on her shoulder, his tail curled around the back of her next to help steady her.

Lex casually strolled down the street watching the small group and waiting to see if any trouble might start.

The fellow she had called Natsu cringed and stood. Winking and shooting a grin at Ann, he turned towards the on-coming girl with his hands' palms facing her. "Now just hold on Erza, this is just a big misunderstanding. Completely innocent misunderstanding. Erza stood before him and glared, then with a blink she re-equipped from her normal gray armor with a red cross on it to something red and black. Now able to fly, she hovered there a second and whispered quietly, You disobeyed a direct order. I'm taking you back for judgment and punishment. Grabbing Natsu by am arm, she flew up into the air.

Ann sat there where she had fallen staring at them in wide mouth amazement. What had just happened? What was happening? He was some kind of goof ball and she was some kind of scary monster. Blinking, she watched Erza drag Natsu into the air. Both had Fairy Tail's symbol on them.

Lex continued to walk towards the group and watched as Erza picked up Natsu and fly off towards the Fairy Tail club. "Aren't they cool?" she said stopping next to the girl sitting on the ground. "You didn't get hurt did you?" Lex asks looking down at the girl and offers her a hand up.

"I'm not hurt, thanks" said Ann accepting the offered hand and standing. She looked back towards the direction they had gone and sighed. "Well it looks like I found Fairy Tail. I want to join their guild," she explained turning to the person who had helped her up. Offering her hand she said, "My name is Ann."

She smiled and shook Anns hand. "Hi Ann. I'm Lex." Nix yawns and draped her self just right on Lexs' shoulder she she wouldn't fall. "And this is Nix." Lex said kind of laughing. "They really are the coolest guild ever and it's super hard to find one of the members who will invite you in." She said looking towards guild. "Is that why you're here? You want to join?" She asks looking back at Ann.

"It sure is. I figured I would go talk to Master Makarov, and see if he would let me join. I heard he once let a little girl, who at the time didn't even practice magic, to join. Now she is one of the strongest mages in the guild. Cana I think her name was. So surely he would at least consider me. I am so excited!" Ann squeeled and grinned merrily. Then she stopped and looked at Lex, "How about you? Are you a member of Fairy Tail? You must be able to use magic to have Nix right?

"No I don't belong to Fairy Tail. But I've heard a lot about them. You really think it will be that easy to join?" She says starting to walk towards the Fairy Tail guild. "Yea I know magic." She looks back at Ann. "Obviously you know magic to or you wouldn't be talking about join a magic guild." She smiles at Ann. "We can walk there together if you'd like."

She knodded and grinned happily, looping an arm through Lex's. "Come on then. It might not be easy, but I think this guild is different. They look at your circumstances and character. They have knocked out several really scary dark guilds so I think they won't have anything against me. I don't practice dark magic, hurt or manipulate others, and I am generally a nice person. She hummed merrily as they came in sight of the guild. She was mildly surprised it was in such fine shape. Fairy Tail was known for going a little overboard sometimes... though Natsu seemed like so much fun that she imagined they enjoyed their work as if it was play instead of a chore.

Lex laughed at Ann's lighthearted manor and let her lead the way. "I don't know anyone who practices dark magic. My mother taught me specialized magic though. What kind of magic do you practice?" She said looking at Ann.

Lex looked up at the Fairy Tail guild building. "I was just a kid the last time I was here....It seems bigger..." she mumbles. "Come on! Let's go!" She grabbed Ann's are and smarted to run towards the building.

Running with Lex, Ann grinned and declared, I an an Ice-Make Mage! What do you specialize in? She looked in awe as they approached the Fairy Tail guild. Hey, they remodeled. The pictures from several years ago show it a bit smaller. Guess either they torn it apart or just wanted a new place. She sighed in happy optimism for the future.

Lex laughed. "Stories of this guild are over the place. I wouldn't doubt that they destroyed it in one of their infamous rough housing sessions." Lex let go of Ann and looked at her. "I'm a fire mage. If we're able to get in I hope we'll be able to be friends. I've never meet a water or Ice mage before but my mother's told me that fire and ice don't mix well."

She shrugged and looked up into the sky, Many things don't mix, maybe, but they can compliment each other. Think about it. Your weakness is my strength and my weakness is your strength in terms of elements. That quality right there is a good start. We won't know though unless we try. And we can't try unless we get in. She took a deep breath, squared her shoulders, and reached out to open the door.

Lex grinned and crossed her arms. "Good. I hope we both get in. Be careful I've heard stories about some of these guilds putting curses on their doors to keep nonmembers and unwanted guests out." Nix let out a yawn and rubbed her eyes and she sat up. "Good you're up we're about to try and join a guild." Lex waited for Ann to open the door.

Ann walked inside and looked around. There didn't seem to be a curse on the door or anything. That was a relief. But the relief turned to apprehension as she stared at the huge main room in open shock and amazement. There were lots of wooden tables with a bar on the left. The far wall had an open wooden staircase going up to the second level with what appeared to be a job board beside it. The truly surprising thing though was the ruckus. There were several friendly fights going on, lots of drinking, some card games, and most of all... it was loud. A smiling hello from the bar caught her attention. She turned and looked over at a girl smiling there at them, with blonde hair laying straight down her back.

Lex looked around the guild in amazement and she was surprised it was so easy to just walk in. She thought for sure that the presents of two strange girls would draw the attention of the entire guild but they all went about their business and completely ignored them. "How wild is this?" she whispered to Ann and noticed the smiling girl behind the bar. "Oh my gosh!" she said and squeezed Ann's arm. "I know her!...Or at least I've seen her before in a magic magazine. This is so cool!" She exclaimed and let go of Ann before going over to the bar.

Ann blinked and followed Lex. That was why she was familiar, she had modeled in a magazine. She knew this guild had many popular wizards and mages and such. What was this girl's name? She stumbled over several names before remembering. As she reached the bar behind Lex, she heard the bright and smiling girl say, Hi! Welcome to Fairy Tail. I'm Mira. What brought you into our guild today? She kept beaming at them in such a friendly and honest way that Ann wondered if she wasn't long lost family.

Lex looked over at Ann. She wasn't sure how she was suppose to act, she had never meet anyone who was a celebrity before. "Hi. I'm Lex and this is Ann. We were hoping to join this guild." She says looking back at Mira smiling at her.

Ann knodded eagerly. She had wanted to be in this guild for a long time. Behind them a voice boomed, Of course you can join. I'm curious though was exactly brought you to our guild? Ann stiffened and slowly turned. No one. She looked down. There was a small old man standing there with a hand pulling at his whiskers. I'm Master Makarov. Good to meet you Lex. Ann. Tell me more about yourselves. Ann blinked.

Lex turned around to look at the tiny man and then looked at Ann for a minute. "Um...." She looked back down at the short man. It's nice to meet you to Master Makarov. Um...I'm a fire mage. I started learning under my mother, she's also a fire mage." Lex shrugs and looks back at Ann.

Ann knodded as she Lex finished. Then she turned and introduced herself, now that she had a chance to try to clear up her brain in this rather light-hearted place. My name is Ann and I am an Ice Make Mage. I practice magic with ice creation as well as working with my blade. My sword enhances some magical abilities. It was crafted to work specifically with my bloodline and gifted to my ancestors by a dragon. So though I am not a dragonslayer, I'm told I have the potential to come close when using the blade. She wondered if she was exaggerating that a little. She didn't think she was though. It was all true. It was just a matter of time for her to learn exactly what she was capable of and what she could learn.

Lex just starred at Ann listening to her. When she heard the part about possible being a dragon slayer something about that didn't sit right with her and put her on edge for some reason. Lex did her best to push the twinge of anger aside. When Ann was finished she looked back at Master Makarov and waited to see what he would say.

Master Makarov knodded, Welcome Lex, the fire mage. Welcome Ann, the ice-make mage. Your both welcome to join Fairy Tail. Just remember this guild treats its members like family. We look out for each other. That includes towards you and you towards everyone else. He held out a large stamp like device and looked at the questioningly. Ann realized he was going to place the Fairy Tail mark on them and offered her her hip. He stamped her hip and a glow occured, leaving behind a the symbol of Fairy Tail. She was now under Fairy Tail's protection. He turned to Lex and raised an eyebrow, Where would you like our mark?
