Rin looked at his bags and made sure he'd packed everything that he'd need for his vacation that he'd been ordered to take. He didn't see why he and a few others had been sent in vacation with no choice. It wasn't like he'd been stressed out or anything. He didn't even see why he needed any rest at all. He straightened his blondish hair and then set off to met up with the others that had been told to go. He hoped this wasn't some dumb prank.
When Rin got to the bridge he was to meet the others on, he looked around. There were a few leaf ninja here and Rin recognized Sakura. He'd never really liked Sakura. She was mean and far to obsessed with that dumb Sasuke boy. She was a pink haired bimbo. There was also Ino, choji, Kakashi, Gai, lee, and Ten Ten. Rin saw Temari and ran to her. She was his friend an he felt nervous at the moment. He wondered if since Temari was here if Kankuro and Gaara might cone as well. He blushed. Gaara...he wanted Gaara to come. He wondered what his redheaded crush would look like without a shirt, only wearing swimtrunks, sweaty from a long run, his pale body glistening. Temari looked at him funny. "Rin..you're zoning out again..." he snapped out of it. "O...sorry." |

Age: 17 Village: Leaf Birth Village: Sound Appearance: http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs71/f/20...y_Mezamero.jpg Height: 5"5 Body type: Fit/Athletic Personality: Outgoing (with friends), Loves challenges, Determined, caring, protective, can be mean/cold hearted. Bio: Abel was born in the sound village, but, when it was said he had a parent in the leaf, that parent took him away and raised him. Abel has lost his only parent on a mission that they went on. And now Abel is trained by Gai-Sensei, he is almost as determined as Lee. His jutsu deals with sound, so he carries a flute with him everywhere he goes. Though his jutsu may be strong, he is blind (not completely, can see chakra of others only) Sometimes it can be overwhelming but no one, not even Gai knows he was blind since birth. __________________________________________________ ______________ (I wanted my own OC for some sort of use) Gaara and Kankuro walked over to the group a few minutes behind the others because Kankuro was complaining about how they were going to the leaf village to leave on this vacation of theirs to a hot spring area. Of course Kankuro was going for the girls, Gaara was dragged along by him and Temari. Though his sand went with him as well. Kakashi spoke up after almost everyone arrived "Change in plans, we aren't going to a hot springs area" Kakashi stated as Kankuro groaned. Gai stepped in by saying "We're going on a cruise" and he did his Cha-ching smile of youth. Lee was surprised "Really?" he exclaimed and jumped into the air "Alright" Gaara looks to Kankuro "You can stop sulking, there are usually girls in swimsuits there" Kankuro brightened up rather quickly. "Then let's get going" he exclaimed as Sakura asked "What are we waiting for?" tilting her head to the side. "Just one more person..." Kakashi spoke looking around, after about a couple more minutes of waiting. The person he was looking for had shown up "Gai, your student it late" and Gai remarked "Surprisenly you're not today" Gai smirked at Kakashi who kept quiet. "Gai-sensei, be nice to Kakashi-Sensei, no one wants to hear you guys argue over something like that, besides last week you totally forgot about practice being switched and didn't arrive at all" the voice spoke, it sounded cool and collected (not like sasuke :P) The boy had short dark hair, practically black with a midnight blue shade, and stood about 5"5 with pale blue eyes. (Like the pic basically) Gai went silent, Sakura looked as if she saw a ghost "The hell you doing here?" Sakura bursted out "It was 'my' idea to arrange the cruise, so either shut it or go back home and play with your Sasuke doll" Sakura's face turned a deep shade of red meaning it was true. |

Rin frowned. There was a change in plans. He wondered where they would go now. Did that mean he didn't get to see Gaara in a swimsuit? He grinned when he heard they were now going on a cruise. He moved closer to Temari, trying to avoid being noticed by Gaara. He was so nervous around the red head. As cute as Gaara was, he didn't really have a good personality. That made Rin a bit skeptic about wanting to be more than just friends with him. Run gasped as the new comer came in. He was tall and handsome, his dark hair framing his face. Rim turned so red he thought he might pass out. That guy was h-o-t, hot! Temari frowned. "I thought you had a thing for Gaara." she whispered and Rin shrugged. "I have no chance with Mr. Cold hearted sandman...maybe I could at least be friends with that guy." he whispered back and she laughed loudly. "You're a mess." she said and messed up his hair. Rin stifled a laugh as Sakura was dissed. "Wait? You really have a Sasuke doll?" Run shrieked with laughter. "That's sooo funny!" she seemed kind of mad, but what did he care? That was damn hilarious. Then again, Sakura was the only other than Temari who knew he was gay. He'd better be nice to her." he thought in his head. ((I changed the pic for my oc btw)) |

Abel glanced around seeing everyone's chakra's. "Calm down Sakura, yeesh, it isn't like they wouldn't have found out sooner or later, it's even sticking out of your bag right now." Abel watched Sakura run at him and try to hit him, but, Gai sensei stopped her "Okay that's enough, lets just get going before the ship leaves without us" Gai spoke and let go of a reluctant Sakura. Everyone started to make their way to where the ship would be waiting for them. It would only be the ninjas since it was paid off that way for the crew who was getting it somewhat easy. At least Naruto wasn't around, otherwise they would all be in trouble, Shikamaru ran over to Abel "Am I late?" he asked somewhat lazy and out of breath. "Just about, hehe, we're leaving now" Abel answered as the lazy ninja sighed "Jeesh, mom turned off the alarm on accident, she says" Shikamaru replied. The two of them talk back and forth, Tenten along with Ino talked to Sakura about the boys. Choji was munching on chips as Lee kept trying to race Gai-Sensei to the pier. Once there, Abel walked first telling everyone's names and they got on the ship "Rooms are down below, Abel has already chosen room mates for eachother" Kakashi spoke as him and Gai left, they shared one room since they were adults, and the teachers. "Room mates for room 2 are: Sakura and Ino, Room 3 is: Tenten and Temari, Room 4 is Rin and myself, Room 5 is: Gaara and Shikamaru, and Room 6 will be: Choji, Lee, and Kankuro" Abel finished adding "Anyone who doesn't like their room mates, deal with it, you're supposed to be having fun and relaxing. If you don't like them, then ignore them" Rin stated handing each person a room key with their room number on it. Shikamaru sighed, at least it was with Sakura or Lee, those two would drive him bonkers. Sakura and Ino glared at eachother, but, was glad to get the same room secretly. Choji and Lee didn't care, but, Kankuro groaned. Gaara didn't mind that Shikamaru was his room mate only because the kid was so lazy, he was sleeping usually or silent most of the time. They probably did think we were making mule accounts, but, with our family we stay a family, menewsha wouldn't know a family if it slapped them in the face. But, thats okay I am on Solia and Knuffle and my favorite one...Unifaction. |
He nearly died of happiness. That meant he got to sleep in the same bunk as a really hot guy. Rin wondered if maybe he'd get a chance to become Abel's friend. He was getting really excited. "Soo...Do you even know me?" Rin asked, walking up beside Abel. "My name is Rin.." He said with a small smile. He was a bit nervous since he normally didn't even have the bravery to say hi to people.
Temari smirked seeing that Rin was dead set in getting to know Abel. He seemed obsessed with the dark haired boy already. "So, anyway.." Temari said walking up in between the two. "Hi Abel. I'm Temari. I'm Rin's friend. she said, trying to see if Rin would get upset that she interrupted. He didn't seem to bothered and she sighed. "So, do you think any of us are cute?' She asked Abel with a smirk. She wanted to see if she could make him uncomfortable. Rin was now even more nervous because Temari even dared ask a question like that. What was she thinking? That could offend someone. He coughed awkwardly. "O, I'm going to walk with Gaara." Rin said quietly. |
Abel turned towards Rin before walking away completely "Not really, I know you come from the sand village needing something new other than the leaf village, but, other than that I don't know anything else." Abel never cared to really do his research on others, let alone anyone, even for a battle or mission. "I don't tend to like others, it doesn't work out very well. Though if ever have any questions, you are free to ask." Abel always answered the questions, no matter what they were, and once he finished he said "I'm heading to put my stuff up" and walked off with his three bags, he went and put his things up in the room, it was a decent size room. A desk, a bunk bed, each with drawers under the beds connected to it. A connecting bathroom which had a shower, toilet, and a counter sink along with a closet.
Shikamaru walked over to Rin "Since you became his room partner, you might want to keep in mind he is nothing like Gaara and most of the time he won't be in there" Shikamaru spoke adding "I'm Shikamaru, I don't believe we've yet met" |
Rin blushed. "O..ok..How should I talk to him then? I don't really know how to be his friend." Rin said, really nervous about this whole thing. He'd never been really outgoing and now that he wanted to try to be he didn't know what to say or do. It was all so new to him really. "What would make him like me better?" He asked Shikamaru. He was getting so jittery, only wanting to get Abel's approval somehow.
Temari smiled. "Hey Rin.." She said and he turned to her. "Abel went to put his stuff up..don't you think it would be wise if you did the same? I mean it seems like you wouldn't want to carry all of your things around with you all day." She was really just trying to get him and Abel alone together so they could bond some. It was good for Rin to make new friends. The only ones he really had were the sand siblings and even so, Gaara wasn't really all that friendly and Kankuro wasn't so fond of Rin either it seemed. She wanted him to meet new guy friends and have fun. Rin went up to the room and walked in slowly. He set his stuff on one of the beds and remained silent, unsure of how to speak to his new room mate. |
"You'll have to learn like I did on how to talk to him, but, just be yourself, you should be good" Shikamaru spoke calmly as if that meant nothing. Though when Temari came up to them both, Shikamaru smiled a little, he had liked her for a long time, just hadn't said anything. Okay so it was only a couple of months of liking her, but, it felt longer to him. "Nice" Shikamaru spoke adding "So how have you been Temari?"
Originally Abel put his stuff on the bottom bunk until Rin walked in that is "Which bunk do you want?" With abel, it didn't matter if he had top or bottom, it wouldn't kill him either way. "I hope you like it out here, I thought it was better than the same boring vacation of going to a hot spring" Abel added. |
Rin simply shrugged. "Top bunk works for me." he sat his stuff down and climbed up, looking down at Abel. "Yeah, it's good to have something differant for a change. I've never been on a cruise before. I have to say this will be exciting. The only thing I worry about is sea sickness. I know Temari gets it sometimes. I've never really had a problem on the ocean before. Kankuro and I used to go fishing all the time." he smiled at Abel. "So, what made you think of a cruise of all the things you could pick from?" he had to wonder what it was that Abel wanted to do around here.

"The reason I chose the cruise over a couple other choices, not only do we have limited guests such as ourselves only, but, being around the ocean is both inspiring and relaxing" and of course Love can happen when you are near the ocean, most of the time it happens, it hardly ever fails. Abel put his things on the bottom bunk in the drawers underneath the beds. Plenty of space for that "Well, I think I'm going to head out for a snack, care to join me after you unpack?" Abel asked moving towards the door but stopped for a moment. He was still wearing his normal leaf village look. "Better yet, going to change first and then head out for a snack." Abel spoke walking back to his bed and getting undressed, he was now just wearing his boxers and had a healthy looking body, quite fit too. "Hm...blue should work..." he mumbled pulling out a light blue tank top and sliding it over his head. He then pulled out a pair of white swimming shorts with light blue leaves. Sliding on his brown sandals, he put his necklace back on that was a heart with wings and silver and hid it under his tank top. "There that should do" |

Rin tried not to stare as Abel began to undress. He turned to his suitcase and started to unpack, his face red from embarresmemt. He decided he'd better change himself to. His ninja clothing wasn't exactly the best thing to wear on vacation. "I'd love to come with you...just a second. He pulled off his own clothing and started getting dressed in something comfortable and cute. He pulled on a plain white wifebeater and a pair of navy blue swimshorts that had tropical flowers printed all over them. He stood and pushed his silver hair away from his face and then looked at Abel, studying the handsome young man for a few minutes. He cleared his throat awkwardly and then turned away blushing. "Well, i'm ready to go when you are." he said quietly, feeling rather nervous. This place was so pretty and romantic and Abel was so nice and rather good looking. It made his heart flutter like crazy. |

Abel smiled and opened the door allowing Rin to go out first, once the other one had gone out he locked the door. He had his own reasons of course for privacy and was sure Rin wouldn't go looking through his stuff for any reason. Shikamaru was out laying in the sun, not moving, Abel figured he went to sleep. Sakura and Ino along with Tenten were already in the pool. Gai and Kakashi was on the other side of the boat in the hot tub meant only for the teachers. Choji was in the mess hall as they would call it and was eating. So everyone started to have their own things going, Gaara on the other hand was stretched out on the white lawn chair facing the sun but with dark red sunglasses on, he was shirtless, and wore plain dark red swim shorts, but, no sandals. His skin was rather light considering the fact that he was in the sand village all the time. Abel walked towards the smell of food "Smells like barbecue tonight for dinner" the boat rocked a little catching Abel off guard making him stumble but he kept his balance 'Smooth waters and yet that happened, hm, maybe I'm being paranoid, I don't think alerting others is a good idea' he kept to his thoughts, forgetting he had someone with him. |
Rin looked around and saw that all of the others seemed to have found their own thing to do already. Run pulled off his own shirt, wanting to earn a bit of a tan. He felt the boat rock and jumped, quite startled. He had to grab onto the side of the boat before he almost fell out. He looked at Abel. "What was that?" he asked, rather alarmed. It didn't seem like the boat should have rocked like that on such smooth water.

"Probably an animal in the water, or maybe someone is messing with the water using a jutsu, nothing to worry about" Abel went under the overhang where the food was and found some snacks laying out. Choji had his own plate, Abel ignored him and picked out some fruit to put on the plate. Anything with caffiene or sweets now could make him sick under the sun. Always did, he wasn't diabetic just knew the best way to have fun in the sun. (I just said the title's name lol and not on purpose)

Rin still wasn't convinced, but he let it go. He sighed and ate with Abel, grabbing a banana. He ate that and then pulled off his swimtrucks showing he was wearing the bottoms of a string bikini. He laid on a towel in the sun, wanting to get ever part that was appropriate tan. He hated tan lines. He relaxed in the wonderful sun and played with sone sand using his finger to play with some water in the pool he was laying by. He glanced at Abel from time to time.

Abel ate some fruit and went over by the pool, he knew something was amiss, but, this was a vacation. Not a life or death situation. Abel sat on the edge of the pool after sliding off his sandals and taking off his tank top revealing an almost faded scar on his back going from his left shoulder to his right waist. Sitting there for awhile, he warmed up in the sun, Gaara flipped over, mostly to get the sun out of his eyes. He was actually right next to Rin "How are you liking the vacation so far?" it was just starting but Gaara took Temari's advice and tried to be a little bit more sociable.

Rin opened one eye lazily and smiled a bit at Gaara. "It's been nice. The sun feels good and I'm glad to just have time to relax. What about you Gaara? Are you having fun?" He wondered if the redhead was happy with his time off so far. They were hardly even starting there vacation, but he figured it wouldn't hurt to ask the same question in return. It was always hard to talk to Gaara and now that he had something to say, he figured he better do it.

"It's quiet, so I guess it's good" Gaara spoke as he laid there with his eyes closed but facing Rin. "You know, Temari and I was talking after everyone got settled in" Gaara spoke, technically Temari did more talking until she had to scold Kankuro for being a bother towards girls. "At least Naruto isn't here" Gaara mumbled.
Abel felt the water on his feet and then was pulled into the water by Sakura in her hot pink bikini. Abel gasped at the sudden pull and rush of water, Shikamaru looked up to see Abel at the last minute get pulled in, for once Shikamaru didn't go back to sleep, he rushed over to the water watching Sakura laugh and dove right in. Abel knew how to swim, but, only if he had someone with him, otherwise it was very difficult for him considering his eye sight that is. Shikamaru brought Abel back to the surface who was gasping for air. "Sakura, you idiot" Shikamaru complained as Neji came over to help Shikamaru and Abel out then leading Abel off to his room. Shikamaru stayed "Next time you think it's funny to pull someone underwater, make sure to think about their conditions before hand" Shikamaru never showed an angry face towards anyone, even in battle, but, Sakura got to learn what that was like as he stormed off to find Abel. |
((hey, I'm sorry for being off lately. My responses will probably take a litlle longer because i'm going thourgh some really bad emotional problems. I have good days and bad ones, so sometimes i just don't feel like getting online))
Rin nodded. "Yeah, It would be horrible if Naruto came along. He's so loud." He turned his head as he heard a slapgh. He really didn't think much of it until Abel had to be rescued. He wondered why he couldn't swim. "Hey, I'm going to be sure he's ok." Rin said to Gaara and went to see about Abel. "Shikamaru." He called "Is Abel ok? What happened? Can he not swim?" |

Abel was lead into his room where he was sharing it with Rin and was laying down on his bed taking in everything that had happened with Sakura and the water. That was the one thing he couldn't see through, water, it was too thick for his eyes to take in the shadows even others under or in the water. Abel sat up leaning against the wall that the bed was next to as Neji placed a big towel over his shoulders to keep him warm and help dry him off but Abel pushed him away "Just leave...please" Abel stated as Neji nodded understanding, man did he want to kill Sakura over this. Shikamaru heard his name being called "He'll be fine kid, he can swim, but, not alone, it's a safety precaution" Shikamaru spoke and went inside after whispering to Neji about not doing anything stupid without him. Neji would wait outside, there wasn't much he could do without the shadow ninja; Shikamaru went inside talking to Abel, Abel just wanted him to leave, he was shaken up over the events and didn't want the others to see him like this. He was normally so cool and composed even with everything he had been through up until now. Shikamaru left saying to Rin "Careful around him, we have some things to take care of" Shikamaru spoke as he left with Neji. |
Rin saw that Abel had sent both Neji and Shikamaru away, so he figured the guy wouldn't want him around either. He decided to give his roomate some space and find something to do in the meantime. He went back to the pool, but with skin as fair as his he couldn't be in the sun to long or he'd burn. He went back into the hotel and walked to the elevator. He figured he'd just wait in there and see what kind of people he could meet. It was weird, but it was something to do. People got on. "What floor young man?" He was asked. "Oh, urm..I'm just along for the ride 'cause I have nothing better to do." He was looked at funny by everyone else, but he didn't care. Soon enough even that became boring and he wasn't sure what else to do. Even worse, he was still in only the bottoms of a woman's swimsuit and he was dripping wet. It would be nice to get some clothing. He walked into the room cautiously, not wanting to disturb Abel. He attempted tonsneak past the other boy and to his room, but tripped and fell, making a loud clatter. "I'm so sorry..I know you want to be alone right now. I didn't mean to disturb..i'll do what I need to and then get out." he dashed for his room and changed, scared that Abel might he mad at him for making noise. "Well..I'm done getting dressed. I just thought I'd say sorry agian for bothering you and I hope you feel better later." He got ready to go hack out the door and leave Abel alone once again.

Abel fell asleep sitting up, most wouldn't know how he was able to sleep sitting up, but, he had a habit of it. He was still in his swim shorts and the towel was draped over his shoulders, it was a beach towel but it had somewhat fallen off. Abel didn't hear the noise, whenever he would sleep, it was hard to wake him. Neji and Shikamaru spent the day scaring Sakura pretty much to death, just like she had with Abel. The others didn't intervene, Ino knew that Abel had his reasons, she just didn't know what they were. So she just tanned all day and waited for the sun to fade away or until she got hungry. |

Rin had no idea what to do now. He didn't want to bother Abel, but he couldn't go outside or he'd burn in the sun. He didn't want to go to the indoor pool and he wasn't sure he should exoore the cruise ship alone or he might get lost and bot ever find his room again. He went back in, this time not making noise and went to his bed, collapsing a taking a bit of a nap himself. The best here were wonderful and felt great for him since he went on so many missions and normally slept in a sleeping bad under the stars. |
