Name: Teagan Ciel Nakashima
Age: 15
Height: 5'1''
Build: Petite
Appearance: She has long (down to the middle of her back), straight, bright red hair, amber colored eyes, a very fair complexion, and light freckles. (will draw soon)
About: Teagan is a quarter French, a quarter Irish, and half Japanese. She was raised in France with her father most of her life, until he decided to marry again. So then she moved with her mother, whom had married a prominent business man in Japan, and was enrolled at Ouran High.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Early morning. The students at Ouran High School were all aflutter, murmuring about a new girl. Seems they had a transfer student coming, and they were due to start today. It was odd enough to have a transfer point blank, but having someone transfer mid-semester was a whole different story. Students were beginning to gather in the entrance hall, eager to see what the big deal was with the new girl. Not but a half hour later, the door opened and a girl stepped in. She wasn't accompanied by anyone. Just her. She looked about as all the eyes settled on her, and a rosy tone took her face. So the girl quickly began to shuffle away, her eyes glued to the ground.

Beyond the rows of heads gathering in the entrance hall stood a sole man with his back to the happenings, accompanied by a blond of his age who was among the many of the student body wishing to see who this new girl was supposed to be. The tall, raven-haired man with his back turned towards the door hadn't been the most enthusiastic of his coming here just to get a glimpse of the new girl. It truly wasn't anything of his concern, and had his best friend not been so adamant on seeing her, he would not be standing there just now. His eyes were cast downwards onto a paper he had fastened to his clipboard, a pencil in his hand busy at work jotting notes down onto it. Murmurs rang out suddenly, and he knew the girl had entered, but even if he had had interest in such he couldn't have seen her if he had tried behind the row of other.
So, casually pushing his glasses further up onto the bridge of his nose, he turned to look over at his friend. "Tamaki, perhaps we should return to our room now? You have appointments today," the man questioned, and after his friend reluctantly accepted the two would return to music room 3.

As she walked towards the end of the entrance hall, Teagan looked up to see a cluster of guys all begin to walk around her and talk to her all at once. It was dizzying how much was happening at one time. Guys left and right dropping cheesy pick-up lines and telling all about what rich, upper-echelon family they belonged to. "I... Ummm... I..." System overload. She wasn't a very bold young woman, and all the attentions overwhelmed Teagan. Flustered, she stumbled over herself in a sprint to get away. And head long into Tamaki. "Ah, gomen!" She let out before turning to run again, only to run into a darked haired boy standing beside the blonde. "Ahh! I'm sorry!" She blurted out. Her cheeks were flushed crimson as she ran away once more.
About this time, Haruhi and the Hitachin twins had showed up. They all blinked as they watched the girl bolt. "Tamaki-senpai... What did you do to that poor girl?" Haruhi asked, exasperated, as the twins snickered.

Of course, as the flustered, red-haired girl bumped into Tamaki he would do nothing to help the situation by giving her a flowery response that seemed more like a pick-up line than the acceptance of her quick apology. Kyoya would turn his gaze from his book as he was the bumped into, his eyes moving to rest upon their girl who had interrupted his reading. He acknowlged her with a slight nod, but said nothing, she moved far too quickly away for him to say anything anyways. Then closing his book abruptly at Haruhi's question, he grinned in his own sly manner towards the other hosts that had gathered. "Alright, everyone back to work now. I believe the show is over," he spoke steadily, gesturing for the twins and Haruhi to return to their club's room. Tamaki on the other hand, was left moping in a corner.
Sighing softly as the others set off, he turned to Tamaki, rubbing the back of his neck curiously. So that red head was the new girl?

New girl indeed. She got lost. She walked into wrong class rooms. She was late. But most of all, she was getting mobbed by boys. And as a result, Teagan was disliked by a vast majority of the girls at Ouran. By lunch, Teagan had been asked out 12 times, been tripped by jealous girlfriends thrice, and had bumped into Tamaki, twice. Of all the boys, she found Tamaki to be the politest, but also, the least trustworthy of the men she'd run into. Mainly because of his blonde hair. He was much like the boys she'd run into often whilst living in France, and they were as untrustworthy a lot as any.
Regardless, lunch came, and in the lunch room she got swarmed again. So she bolted again, this time heading to the arts building.
About that time, Haruhi stood in the 3rd music room, making sure everyone stayed quiet, lest they disturbed Honey-senpai from his nap.
Teagan stopped at the door of the 3rd Music room and pressed her ear to the door. Silence. So she presumed no one was using it, and walked right in. Her eyes were closed in relief as she shut the door behind her and leaned against it. She sighed. "Ah! Safe at last!" She said allowed, thinking she was speaking just to herself.

Whispering seemed to circulate the school. Wherever the transfer student went, talking trailed after her. Kyoya found it amusing that the other students took up such an interest, yet odd that boys took such an overwhelming shine to her. Not that the girl wasn't attractive, from what he had seen she seemed rather pretty, but there was something about her that seemed to send girls completely mad and boys chasing after her. Quite literally in some respects, as he observed. Still he remained unsocialable as per usual, taking interest only in his work or host activities throughout the day.
As lunch came on, however, he found himself face to face with said girl. Well, by a few feet that was. Casually, the boy rose a hand, two of his fingers moving to readjust his glasses as he observed Teagan. It hadn't been hard to find out her name. "Lost?" he questioned casually, tone a bit hushed still. Behind him the twins turned in exasperation towards the sleeping Honey, together whispering, "Low blood pressure evil lord!" Yet to the relief of many, said boy merely stirred before his breathing evened and he returned to his nap.
Grinning as he caught this, Kyoya would nod towards the girl in front of him. "Excuse me, miss Teagan, was it? My name is Kyoya Ootori. This is our school's host club," he explained in quiet tones, relaxed, though his face showed an indifference that many of the other gentlemen at school seemed to lack. "We're not open, though I don't suppose you were looking for our services." he then added thoughtfully, humorous in some way yet more understanding than anything. While his eyes remained upon her, they were not exceedingly intimate, and he kept his space, even stepping back slightly as she walked in, though they were a good few feet apart.

She jumped a bit as he spoke up. Teagan's eyes snapped open and she looked at the twins, then at Haruhi, then Tamaki, then Mori, then the sleeping Honey, then back at Kyoya. She listened to him speak then felt the heat rushing to her cheeks as she realized this room wasn't uninhabited after all. "I... Uhm..." She looked off to the side. "I-it's a pleasure to meet you, Ootori-san..." She said softly as she bit her lip. "Ah, I'm sorry for just walking in! I'll go now!" She said as she turned quickly and went to open the door.
Haruhi, however, could hear the scuffling of feet outside the door and could tell a crowd was forming. One that would wake Honey if Teagan were to open it. So she quickly strode across the room, catching Teagan's wrist. "Ah, I wouldn't go out there." Haruhi said. Instinct kicked in about that time when Teagan believed that Haruhi was a male and grabbing her, so Teagan pushed her away and bolted to hide behind Kyouya, who hadn't seemed to make a move towards her yet. "Please don't let them get me!" Teagan whimpered. If one looked at her, she was actually in tears at this point. She glanced distrustfully at Tamaki as well, since he'd already dropped his lines.
All Haruhi could do was blink.

Kyoya couldn't help but grin in reply to what seemed like her shyness. The poor thing was stammering, and her apology caught him off guard in the slightest. Disregarding his clipboard now, he would nod curtly in reply to her as he was addressed, but only watch as Haruhi moved to stop her from opening the door. Certainly it would be a bad idea, but it seemed that Haruhi grabbing her may have been even worse. Not that he would admit it, but something snared his attention in her move to hide behind him. As his head moved casually to the side to glance back at her, he caught sight of tears, and something in his mind tugged at him. Kyoya felt the strange obligation to help her, regardless of circumstance.
A soft sigh would part his lips before he turned towards her and sent a grin in her direction. "You're safe here," he murmured quietly, his gaze steady upon her for a moment before he moved to the side slowly. "Tea, perhaps, while we wait for the crowd to die down?" he then offered in a more casual tone, one of his hands moving to lock the set of doors behind them before he turned to move towards a table containing a small silver platter with tea and such. Then turning towards Mori, "If you'd please, guard the entrances. We don't need any men in here when we do actually open."

She rubbed vigorously at her eyes as he told her she was safe. She smiled just a little in return of Kyoya's own smile. "That would be very nice, thank you." She said. Teagan was still shaken up, to be sure, but at least he was helping her out. "I appreciate you being willing to help me, Ootori-san." She added, as she straightened herself up a bit.
Teagan proceeded to take a seat at a table, all whilst watching as the largest of the bunch move towards the door to guard it. "Soooo, what is this place?" She asked quietly, as she looked around. Leave it to the Hitachin twins to move in on that. Kaoru and Hikaru popped up on either side of her. "We in this room are hosts." One started. "Hosts of the Ouran High School Host Club!" the other finished. They grinned at one another. "We should give her the club experience, they chimed in unison. Her look already said she was uncomfortable. She got shy again and looked down. "Uhmmm..." she muttered softly. Hikaru laughed a bit. "She's so shy. It's cute."
"Yeah! Bet she'd be fun to dress up!"
Haruhi grabbed the both of them. "Behave, you two. You'll scare her more..."

Kyoya would simply proceed to the table holding the tray and lift a teapot tenderly. Then moving carefully, he filled one of the accompanying teacups with hot water. Next he placed a tea bag into it, picking up a spoon to stir it with as the tea distilled. As he did this, he spoke his reply, "It's not a problem." He watched the twins approach her warily, stirring the beginning of tea gently with the silver spoon he had picked up. Behave was an understatement, he found. "Please excuse them," he began again, grinning in her direction as he awaited her tea to finish brewing itself. "They were not incorrect, however. Our club serves the ladies of the campus in companionship, each of us represent a certain type." Typically he would have gone on to explain the types here, but saw no need for that since he suspected she was mostlikely not interest in that sort. "Ah, here we are," slowly he would approach her again, teacup in a delicate hand as he outstretched his arm to offer it to her. "Be careful, Nakashima-san, it's hot."

Teagan blinked as Kyoya explained the situation. "I see... So then this place is... completely free of men? Well, except for the hosts, of course. But otherwise, no men?" You could almost see the wheels turning. "Please let me hide here?" She asked as she took the cup. "I'll make myself useful, even if it's just cleaning or baking desserts for your guests. Please?" She seemed to be hinging a lot on the hope they would let her slip away from the guys of Ouran here.

Kyoya couldn't help but notice a certain look cross her face as she processed the information, whether it be a glimmer of hope or what, it was a tad unnerving. Her question following such was not entirely unexpected, he then though. As she accepted the tea, he would let a slight shrug off of his shoulders, "Why, yes, unless we have the rare male guest." Then sighing to himself, he glanced down at his clipboard before setting it aside atop the nearest table. "I suppose I don't see the harm in it. Helping you out is within our range one services, ne, Tamaki?" he asked over his shoulder at his blonde friend who was still moping about in one of the corners. "That should wear off soon.." he then murmured to himself before sending a slight grin towards Teagan.

She smiled her first full, bright smile at Kyoya's allowance of her staying. "Merci! You've saved me." She said happily as she glanced at the door, where the crowd was waiting still. "They are scary. It's always been like this, but perhaps not this bad." She added as she watched Mori at the door. She glanced over at Tamaki. "I see... Well, I'm sorry to have made him so distraught, but... He scared me more than the others." At this, Haruhi sort of laughed. "I've heard Senpai called a lot of things, but scary was never one of them."
At the sound of Haruhi's voice, Teagan jumped and got uneasy. "I-I see..." Haruhi rubbed the back of her head. "Ah, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you again. I really was just trying to keep you from going out there. It was for your own safety." Not because of the boys outside, but because if Honey awoke, they were all in grave danger.

Kyoya, seeing her smile, was perhaps a bit hesitant to reply. Instead, he decided to simply nod in her direction for now, his gaze moving to avoid her. "It's not a problem," he then replied after a moment, then grinning as Haruhi stepped up to speak with her. It was refreshing in a manner to see Haruhi speaking with a girl she wasn't treating as a customer, though he suspected it wasn't best to expose the secret of Haruhi's quite yet to anyone but those not in the host club. Even if it happened to calm Teagan. Seeing the irony in this, he mused over whether or not the new girl would become a customer of Haruhi's with time, a sly smile crossing his face. Sighing softly as the two spoke, he murmured to himself, "I suppose it can't be helped then, if we are going to be sheltering her." Turing to Mori who was at the door, he would then speak up, "If you can, try to keep the crowd controlled during the day as well." Then to the twins, a knowing gleam in his eye as he gave them permission to do something he may grow to regret, "Do as you may to assist him with that."

Teagan flushed a bit at Haruhi's statement. Huh. Protecting her. Perhaps Haruhi wasn't so bad either. "Well, I... Thank you... I'm sorry I was rude to you." She said bashfully. Haruhi just smiled that typical good natured smile of hers. "It's alright. I'm sure you were more than a little stressed from all of the guys out here. Just enjoy your tea. If you'd like, I'll get you some something to snack on while you're relaxing." Teagan smiled. "Ah, thank you. I adore sweets."
At that word it seemed that Honey was waking up. "Sweets?" He said, rubbing his eyes. Teagan looked in the direction of the voice and her eyes settled on Honey. "He's adorable!" She said, grinning. "Is he one of your little brothers?" She asked of the hosts, whilst looking around the room. Haruhi laughed a bit at that. "Ah, you see..." She never finished as Honey ambled over to the table, with Usa-chan in tow. "Someone said sweets. I need a snack." He muttered, not being so joyous that he was awake.

Kyoya smiled as the two continued, his own mind set to work in an otherwise business direction as he picked up his clipboard once again. Though he did keep his ears open to their conversation, and wasn't the one to ignore Honey's awakening. His gaze moved then to the smaller boy as he got up and made his way on over. Grinning towards the two girls, he would explain what Haruhi hadn't had the time to, "Honey-sempai is a senior student here at Ouran." He spoke simply, a hint of humor in his tone but otherwise in the same indifferent manner with which he usually acted.
Then spotting Mori's head turn to look at Honey, Kyoya would nod to him, "Take a break, the doors are locked, no one will get in and we don't open for a bit yet." Nodding in reply, Mori would leave the doorway, and move to prepare snacks for both Hony and Teagan.

Teagan looked totally stunned. Her eyes scanned Honey-sempai over. "H-He's older than me?" She seemed totally shocked. It took a few moments but soon Honey gathered his consciousness enough to become friendly again. He sat next to Teagan, then smiled. "You're really pretty! We should eat cake together. Usa-chan thinks so too!" And she was won over. Seems the twins and Tamaki were the only ones she was still afraid of.
Teagan grinned. "Of course we can! All the cake you want!" She promised. Nevermind her figure, and the hours she'd have to spend with her personal trainer later. She would eat cake with Honey-sempai anyday. "I'll be baking sweets for the club from now on. You can taste test everything I make." Teagan told Honey. You'd have thought the boy was in heaven at those words.
Haruhi, in the meanwhile, was working on snacks as well.

Looking over his clipboard yet, Kyoya would nod at Teagan's question. "Indeed he is," he spoke casually, a pocket calculator then produced from his uniform jacket as he began to work with stood numbers. His pencil's eraser tapped his bottom lip for a moment before he wrote something down upon the paper he was working on. Then grinning once more he seemed satisfied with himself, and not for bad reason. With the subtraction of costs from the sweets the club purchased each month, Teagan's presence was more than worth it. Not that it was all about monetary value. Pushing his glasses up his nose with his index finger, he then slipped his calculator away and looked over as Mori began to produce a cake from a shelving unit near the back. "The club can purchase any ingredients you need miss, just let me know what it is you will want to work with," he then spoke up again, having figured it was the least he could offer with her generosity in making them sweets.

"Ah, I don't need much at all." She chirped cheerfully. "But I'll have the list to you by tomorrow." Haruhi brought over a dish with cookies and another dish with assorted find candies and other good things. You could see both Teagan and Honey's eyes light up as they looked at the goods that came their way. Haruhi set the plate of chocolates down and Teagan took one. She bit into it and grinned. "Ahhh. I know these chocolates. I know them well. Jacques Genin! My father knows him well." She said. "Whoever chose these chocolates has divine taste. It was almost astounding that such a tiny girl had such a refined palette for such rich foods and sweets.
Honey's eyes widened. "You really know your chocolate." He commented. She just smiled. "My father is a caterer of some renown." She explained. She glanced at Kyoya. "Ootori-san, if you'd like you, Fujioka-san, and Morinozuka-san may sample what I make as well." She offered, distinctly leaving Tamaki and the twins out of that invitation, as she was still afraid of the twins, and terrified of Tamaki.

Kyoya would nod in acknowledgement of this, jotting a note down on his paper so that he would remember such. "Ah, thank you," He replied simply, appreciating the timeliness in a manner. He paused mid-note however as the taste of whom had chosen the chocolates was complimented. Naturally, he made all of the club's purchases, regardless of whether he was a true fan of sweets. He enjoyed them on occasion, but he would have to blame Honey for developing his taste. He murmured another quick thank you, but made no show of accepting the compliment. This was when he felt eyes upon him, so turning his head to the side he caught Teagan's gaze and grinned at her offer. "I believe we would enjoy that very much so, Nakashima-san." Then glancing down at his arm and withdrawing his sleeve a bit, he peeked at the face of his watch. "We open in a few minutes, Mori, would you please?" he then questioned, stretching his neck slightly to looks over his shoulder at Takashi as he brought out a chocolate cake. He again nodded in understanding, moving to get a few things near the entrance in order to do a bit of crowd control.

Teagan finished her snacks and went to go sit at the window so that she was out of the way for when their customers came in. She hoped she wasn't being too inconvenient. She was just really not okay with going out into that mess of hormone driven men. So she sat quietly, out of the way. She pulled a notebook out of the bag she had carried with her, and began writing a note of things she would need, and how much she would need. Eggs. Milk. Butter. Cocoa. Sugar. Strawberries. Oil. There were quite a few ingredients, but when price was compared to the sheer amount of high quality goods she could produce with these items, it really was infinitely cheaper than what they had been paying to ship goods.
The rest of the club took their stations, preparing for another day of hosting. It seemed there were a few more girls than usual, because many were upset, and wanted to feel special since they hadn't since the new girl had come in.

Kyoya would step over by the door to greet and track their guests as they trailed in, noting the number with no surprise, a grin strewn upon his lips pleasantly. Of course many girls would be upset what with most of the attention directed towards Teagan, and while her offer to bake goods for the hosts had cut some costs they were also reaping some benefits customer-wise. Thus far, her presence was not a problem with the dark-haired puppet master, and he even had a few cards to play onto the table with such circumstances-- cards that the Hitachiins would undoubtedly call low-blown advertising schemes. Still, how could he not take advantage of the scenario? The financial benefits were welcoming, yet as Kyoya found his gaze wandering over to where she had perched beside the window, he couldn't help but inwardly admit he did not mind her presence one bit.
After then initial influx of guests, Kyoya would step away from the entrance to monitor the other hosts and their numbers of customers. All seemed well for the day, even moreso with the increase in guests. He waltzed about casually pausing by each table as he made his way around the room, eventually it came time where he could simply step down from his duties monitoring and focus on other things. Incidentally he found himself near the row of windows, and looking to his left spotted Teagan but a few feet away. "We don't quite need that list yet, if you'd prefer to sit with one of the hosts for today." he offered, speaking up as his gaze drew over to her.

She jumped a bit at the sound of his voice. "I... Oh... That might be nice..." She never even thought to look at Tamaki, the twins, Honey, or Mori. Infact, her gaze drifted almost immediately to Haruhi. "Ummm... Maybe I could sit with Fujioka-san." She said, a flushed look taking over her face. Quite a dramatic change from when she'd first met Haruhi, earlier. Truth be told, when Haruhi had told her that she'd stopped her for her own safety, it had scored major points with Teagan. "Do you that would be okay?"

It wasn't hard to notice her jump a bit as he spoke, his grin reappearing as he apologized shortly, "Sorry to startle you." Then letting his gaze wander the room, he let himself consider whom she might choose if she indeed took up his offer. Of course Tamaki coul dbe crossed off nearly immediately, as well as the twins whom she didn't seem to have taken a shine to. He had his suspicion, and it was confirmed as she voiced that she wanted to sit with Haruhi for a bit. So nodding at her question he would make a calm gesture ith his hand to motion for her to follow him, and he would lead her directly to Haruhi's table. "Miss Nakashima will be joining you this afternoon along with your usual appointments," he explained calmly as he pulled out a chair for Teagan to use.

She sat with a small smile and glanced at Haruhi, looking pleased. Of course the other girls recognized her, so it became tense. But she just sat quietly, enjoying being around Haruhi, and listening to the group speak, all chattering happily, though stopping periodically to give Teagan looks. She just kept to herself. At one point she made to say something but someone overrode her. Haruhi smiled. "Ah, I missed that. What were you saying, Miss Nakashima?" She asked sweetly. Teagan blinked as no one had ever spoken up for her like that. "I um... I was just saying that I bet the sakura blossoms will be especially beautiful this year, as it's been a perfect season for them." She said with a gentle smile. More and more she was liking Haruhi, even despite such a rocky start. To her, Haruhi seemed to be the perfect gentleman.
