This whole event was probably going to set her back a lot in her steps to recovery.

She stormed down to headquarters and kicked the war room door open. "SCOTT!"

Scott looked up in surprise, "Ciara, I know why you're here and I can-"
"Where is Miss Frost?!"
"...Probably up on the balcony patio on the 8th floor." Ok, so she didn't yet know what mission they had today... interesting.

Ciara stormed up to the 8th floor and onto the patio balcony. "MYSTIC!!! WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE TO MY LIFE?!?!" She demanded.

Mystique and Emma were lounging on the patio furniture, having a little wine when Ciara burst in. Mystique looked over and scoffed, "made it better"

Emma chuckled

Ciara approached the table and sat down. "Do you have ANY idea how more complicated you've made my life?!" She took a deep breath. "Ok. What exactly have you done to 'make my life better'"

'Aw crap.' She thought to herself, realizing she didn't have her earrings on. She hadn't worn them since her abduction. Horatio probably had grabbed them for her... This just meant she had to keep her mind focused on the task at hand and not about Pietro.

Mystique leaned back in her chair and shrugged, "well, you have been more or less courting the King of the Sea. Since you're so damned oblivious of anyone advancements ever, I just help you two get a little closer. And thanks to that we have a proper treaty with the Atlanteans, they're rebuilding their city below Genosha and we are providing protection for them above land while they are protecting us from below. Everyone's happy and congrats, you get a hawt boyfriend."

Ciara's eye twitched. Though she did blush a tiny bit "But. I... Oh gods this is why Dad didn't beat him up...Mystique, you don't understand... I'm with Pietro. You have to fix this." She said eyeing the empty unused glass. She was gonna need to have a drink after this.

Mystique and Emma looked at each, then laughed together, "Pietro?" Mystique chuckled, "Really?"

"Honey, even you can do better than that" Emma commented, "We're talking about the King of the Sea here"

"Namor"

"The chiseled chest"

"The perfect... proportions"

"And he's royalty"

She pouted as they laughed. She really liked Pietro. She'd had a crush on him for years. And they were laughing at her happiness.

Her lower lip tightened, "Man who can't express his true emotions. Man who would rather punch first and ask questions second. I'm NOT dating another Logan! Besides, I really like Pietro. He's sweet and has a 'chiseled chest' and he's really good..." In bed "..At being romantic."

Emma raised a brow at her and exchanged another look with Mystique, "Alright then little princess" Mystique let out another chortle, "It's your life, go break the news to the man who makes Genosha a safer place... for you"

"But. I. Yoooooou." She bit her lip. And paused for a moment before grabbing the extra wine glass. "What kind of relationship have I been having with him? How many bases have you crossed? I need details."

Damn it. Mystique and Emma both had a point. Did she even like Namour like that? She would admit he wasn't hard on the eyes. And he did take an interest in her when she was there, now that she thought about it. She just didn't really think of these type of things while interacting with others.

But before she did anything, she needed to know details of what Mystique had gotten her into.

"Miss Frost, may I?" She asked, pointing to the bottle. Much more calmer than when she approached the two moments before.

"By all means dear, help yourself" Emma smiled.

Mystique waited until Ciara had a glass of wine before launching into the gritty details of Ciara and Namor's relationship. Apparently they had been flirting, heavily. Mystique had at least been careful about making any concrete promises about the two of them but there were many, many heavily implied romantics. Strolls on the beach, picnics, romantic meals together. Not to mention the occasional suggestion from Namor to make her queen.

Ciara had downed 3 glasses. "Oh gods." She was blushing not only from the alcohol but from the stories Mystique was telling her. She felt like Mystique was re-sighting a romantic novel. He was being... romantic? And the compliments he was giving. So poetic and meaningful. She had no idea... Mind you, she'd just met the man once.

"Why does life keep doing this to me?"

"Throwing gorgeous men your way?" Emma asked, "I haven't a clue. But when you find out, let me know"

"You have no idea how hard it is to be as conservative as you" Mystique groaned, "Knowing that at any moment I could have just... ripped off those little trunks and.. mmmmm Damn."

Ciara buried her head in her hands, the mental image creeping into her mind. Him over top of her, having his way- "GAH!" She grabbed her glass and drank some more. 'Don't think about it. Don't think about it.'

She leaned back, "In any case, thank you for keeping my where-abouts to a minimum and keeping me from looking like a crazed wild woman."

"There we go" Mystique nodded, "All the work that I do when people go missing, or hospitalized and all I want is a thank you, a little credit where credit's due. But do I ever get it? No, because clearly it was never me, that's preposterous. Mystique? Being helpful? That's practically blasphemy." she raised her glass to Ciara, "You are welcome."

"Ooookay, I think that's enough wine for now" Emma pulled the bottle away.

She raised her glass as well "If there's anything in the treasury of gifts you want... have it. For all the times you've covered my ass you've earned it." She said. She pouted at Emma. "But Miiiiiss Frost." She whined, "...Fine. I haven't had anything to drink in a long while... I'm kinda not use to it anymore. Stupid, Scientist and his stupid experiments..." She turned to Emma, "Miss Frost... I'm sorry I've been an asshole to you in the past. You're just so.." She waved her arms, "good-looking! It's intimidating and stuff. I mean, you're one of the few people I know would can pull off not only white but can wear little to no clothes and people still respect you."

"Here here!" Mystique drank another gulp.

Emma looked at Ciara curiously, ".... or maybe you should drink with us more often..."

She smiled, "I'd like that. I don't really hang out with a lot of girls... It's kind nice to just... chit chat."

A knock on the door frame and Scott walked out. "Ladies. Everything ok up here?"

"Scott! There you are. You better let.. let me do some missions soon. Or I'll be... Very cross with you. Isn't Miss Frost gorgeous?! I mean, who else do you know who can pull that off?"

Scott paused, "You got her drunk. She's recovering!"

"I'd say she's recovering very well" Emma smiled.

"And Mystique. You're not even WEARING clothes half the time but she's still a gorgeous blue babe...." She looked at Scott and then back at the ladies. " Oh. Look out. Scott's just his SERIOUS face on, "She joked, crossing her arms and acting like Scott. "I'm Scott. I'm big and macho. I shot lasers from my eyes. Pew pew."

"OKAY. You've had enough girl talk for one day." Scott grabbed Ciara and threw her over his shoulder.

"Wait what- Gah! Put me down. Damn your shoulder is not as comfy as Sabertooth's." She flailed.

"Oh come on Scott" Emma put on her sexy voice, "A little fun isn't going to kill her"

"Actually I'm naked aallll the time" Mystique laughed

"Nooo I wanted have funnn.. Scott. Don't be a party pooper."

Scott gulped, not the sexy voice, "Emma, she just got released yesterday. She has enough on her plate."

"And she should've been released over a week ago" Emma replied, "Common dear, it's just a little girl talk, I've already taken the wine away."

Scott put Ciara down, "You can stay if you start drinking water."

She smiled and hugged him, "Aw'd Big brother is being over protective."

Emma grinned and gave Scott a kiss, "Thanks darling. I promise to have her home by ten"

"Fine." Scott gave in, kissing her back. "I'll be working late again." And he turned to leave.

"Sooo, Have I touched his lower area?" She asked point blank. "Cause that would- Are you and Scott an item?! When did this happen?"
