She kissed his cheek, "Well, I guess that's alright then." She noticed the Alien woman still looking alarmed and she realized her water stakes were still up and moved that water back into the buckets around the couch. She got up and stretched, "How did it go?" She asked Aqua Lad.

"It was Blue Beetle and Artemis' team that finally found them. Artemis was hurt pretty badly by Black Beetle. She's resting in the other room."
"You mean there's more than one?"
"Apparently."

"They were trying to create a new blue beetle" Robin explained, "since the last one doesn't seem keen on obeying them. Apparently having a human under their control is part of the big plan or something."

"I see...Do we know how long this is going to take her?"

"Shouldn't take more than a day" Robin replied, glancing over at the alien female, "from what I understand, it's still going to be risky to Nightwing though..."

She nodded, "Nightwing's strong. He'll pull through...You all must be starved from your long mission. I'll go whip something up."

"If you're done chatting, I would appreciate some quiet. This is a very delicate procedure." The woman hissed, not pleased that she was going to have to remove the little beetle.

"Well you'd better focus then" Superboy replied to her, "because if anything happens to him, I'll take it out on you personally"

The woman sighed, very annoyed and rather flustered. "It was never meant to be removed in the first place. So I advice if you want you friend to have a fighting chance you stop distracting me."

"Chill superboy" Robin placed a hand on his shoulder, "I'm watching her." he walked over to the alien scientist as Superboy grumbled and walked away.

Annnnd she fixes him.. yay

Nightwing was left sleeping it off in a cot when Batman arrived.

"How is he?" the dark knight questioned.

"Stable" robin replied, "It was a little touch and go for awhile but he should pull through."

"Good" Batman turned and nodded at Ciara for her to follow him aside, "Ciara"

Ciara looked around, everyone else was either guarding the Science lady or getting some shut eye. It kinda took her back a little when he refereed to her by her name and not String Ray.

Nevertheless, she followed him. "What's up?"

((oops >_< I mean... he totally called her sting ray. Especially since alien chick is there... damnit, sorry))

Batman took her aside into another room, "I think it's time for you to head back to Genosha" he stated

She blinked, "What? Why? Kid Flash still needs further training and Super Boy won't amit it but his front crawl is atosous... Has something come up that I should know?"

"No, nothing's wrong" Batman replied, "you've done very well with the team, there's just been a lot going on lately. I never intended for you to get mixed up in it all. It isn't good for your recovery."

"No I suppose you're right." She rubbed her arm. "It hasn't been an easy road but I really appreciate you pulling me away when you did. Thought I was going to go crazy being watched 24/7." She smiled warmly. "Thanks." She leaned to the side, "Quick Silver, pack our bags, we're heading off shortly." She yelled.

"I figured you could use some time away" Batman agreed, "I did not intend for you to get brought into official Justice League affairs although we appreciate you stepping up." he offered Ciara a handshake.

"Anytime." She took his hand and gave him a firm handshake, "Glad I could help. Besides, I've never been good at standing on the sidelines when someone needs my help. Keep me posted on Nightwing's recovery. If he's not recovering well, let me know. I can bring one of our healers over. A few of them owe me some favors." She smiled warmly.

"I'll keep that in mind" Batman replied. Meanwhile Pietro was waiting at the door with everything packed to go already.

"You're leaving?" Miss Martian floated over as Sting Ray headed over to the door.
"Awww, I was looking forward to more intense target practise." Artemis said, cradling her wounded arm.
"Thank you for all that you have taught us. We are forever welcome for your help and wisdom." Aqua Lad bowed.

"Aw, come on, Aqua Lad. You're gonna make me blush." She slapped him on the arm, "Keep up with your training. And best of luck in missions to come. Who knows? Maybe we'll come and visit sometime." Sting Ray smiled. "Oh and Kid Flash, there's still a bunch of leftovers from dinner, just remember not to eat too fast. I won't be here to give you the Heimlich maneuver."

"Yeah yeah" Kid Flash smiled, "thanks for everything Sting Ray"

"Seriously, we appreciate all your help" Robin agreed sincerely.

Superboy stepped forward and after an awkward moment of standing there he raised his hand to shake hers, "You have taught us much. I will not forget it."

His gesture took her a bit by surprised but she smiled warmly and shook his hand. "It was my pleasure. It's nice to know the next generation of Super Heroes are off to a good start."

Blue Beetle rubbed the back of his head. He'd only been there for a small section of the time Ciara had been there. He didn't have the same connection that the others had. "It was nice to meet you, Miss Sting Ray. Quick Silver."

"It was nice meeting you too, B.B. Best of luck to all of you." She turned and hopped into Pietro's arms, "Gonna take me some place romantic before we go home?" She whispered sweetly.

Pietro did a superfast secret handshake with Kid Flash before taking Ciara in his arms, "hmm, anywhere in partic-" he cut off as someone else caught it eye.

They had made sure to keep his mask on but aside from that Dick Grayson was wearing some average clothing, jeans and a hoodie because his Nightwing outfit had been torn up pretty bad. Now he was making his way towards them, one hand on the wall for balance. He looked exhausted. "not gonna leave... without saying... bye, are you?" he questioned between breaths.

'They know too much? What that I'm blue and my arm can turn into a sonic gun?'
"Nightwing!" Sting Ray nearly jumped out of Pietro's arms when she saw him.

Aqua Lad rushed over to lend him an arm. Miss Martin looking worried as can be.

"You should be resting, Nightwing!" Miss Martin said worriedly.

"Nightwing!" Sting Ray wrapped her arms around him gently. Without even thinking about it, Sting Ray started checking his vitals, his eyes, "We had no idea how much stress the surgery would have on you.. I didn't want to disturb you. I'm just glad you're not in a coma." She smiled a little relieved to see him up. "How are you feeling?"

Nightwing was glad for the help but he took Ciara's hand off his wrist when she started checking him over, "I'm fine" he insisted, "Just... feel like I was hit by a bus.... ten times" he looked at his hand, stretching and flexing his fingers, "I needed to get up... to make sure I had control of everything again... I'm sorry guys, for everything I did."

"That's what you said the last time." Sting Ray stuck out her tongue. But he seemed to be alright, just weak and shaky.

"Oh Nightwing, you don't have to be sorry." Miss Martian said.
"Yeah, you were being controlled." Artemis pointed out.
"Yeah man, don't sweat it. We're all just glad you're alright," Blue Beetle added.

"Alright but then it's straight back to bed, Mister." Sting Ray stated, hands on her hips with a stern look on her face. "Alright, kids. My last training mission for you all.... Is to make sure Nightwing does what's necessary to recover, including resting. As well as help him build himself back up to where he was...That beetle was connected to a lot of your organs. You'll need to rest a lot for all the tissue to heal properly. Otherwise you may not be able to do things you were once able to do... Then when you're all healed up, you can go kick the Reach's ass at 100%." She grinned.
