She blushed lightly, placing a hand on her stomach, "You happened Pietro... You filled me with your love and now I have two little ones on the way. Our children... Pietro, I need you. They need you. Please, come home." She took a step forward.

Queen Bee wrapped her arm around Pietro's middle and licked the curve of his ear, "Lies..." She whispered.

He hesitated, then shook his head and glared at Ciara, "That's not possible. We... we were always careful."

"Okay, this is starting to get awkward" Rogue stated, taking a step forward, "Common Quicksilver, look at her!" she pointed at Ciara, "You can't tell me that this girl don't make you feel nothing! I've seen you two over the last couple years. You're damn annoying how adorable the two of you are! Just admit it!"

"Hell even I noticed" Mystique put in, "When you and your friends were destroying my house during high school. You've been drooling over her half your life. This Queen bitch you've barely known a couple months"

"Do not insult my Queen!" Pietro snapped back instantly, glancing between them, "And what do you know of love?" he shot Mystique a glare, "You either kill or turn on every man you've ever been with." his eyes shot to Rogue, "and you can't touch, let alone feel what it's like to love someone. To have your heart on fire with every breath, every touch..." he looked longingly at the Queen, his eyes trailing to look her over with admiration, "every day here is bliss," his hand caressed her cheek and wrapped around to the back of her neck, pulling her into a kiss.

"I know we were careful but I missed my period... I was going to tell you at the mall but then... we got separated."

Queen Bee smirked, surprised by his sudden action but gave into the kiss. She pulled away after a moment and loved the look on Ciara's face. "There. You have your answer, now leave."

"But... But Pietro... I love you." She sniffed, "How can you say such mean things..."

"Because it's the truth" Pietro turned back to Ciara, walking forward as he spoke, "Every day here is bliss and I love my Queen." a gold chain slipped from his fingers onto the floor and he stood still, looking at the ring in his hand, "but I cannot explain why, no matter how hard I try to let go, my dreams are of someone else. Every night I dream of oceans that turn into your eyes, of a bright red sun that becomes your hair and when I wake my heart aches as though it's being torn apart and I keep wondering if I'll ever find the pieces again." he looked back at Queen Bee, "and then she makes the pain go away... and I can't do this anymore" there were tears in his eyes, "I can't keep going back and forth. It hurts so much."

Ciara was fitting back her own tears. She hated seeing him like this. In pain. She gently placed a hand on his cheek, "It must have been so hard for you, love. When I learned of your fate, I found my apperiate vanish. Can you imganie? One min I'm demanding pickles and cupcake and the next I was willing to throw away everything. My life, my reputation, my hopes and dreams, my very soul, just to get you back...I called for you... everyday I called out you name, praying my cries would reach you... that you would come speeding in to my rescue. I wish I had been stronger, so that you would have never had to experience what you have here."

She looked down at the ring, "What this?"

"I've been holding into it for months" Pietro replied, looking the ring over, then taking her left hand in his, "it was never the right time... now I don't know if there ever will be"

Tears steamed gently down her face, "I...I... I was so worried that you'd never ask. I kept trying to bring the subject up but I keep getting to shy to talk about it..." A huge smile crossed her face as she wrapped her arms around him, "Yesyesyesyesyes a million times yes."

"...Hmph. Not what I was hoping this event's entertainment but regardless... Get out of my sight, your true love sickens me." Queen Bee turned and walked away. "Too bad. I was going to enjoy watching you be fed to the lions after we made love, my little prince."

"Wh-what?"

"Oh that's right. Why don't you tell her of our long nights of passion? How you begged for more? How you deflowered several women for my entertainment?"She grinned and laughed

Ciara picked up a large gold tray and smacked her across the face with it. "You're a twisted old hag who will never find love and your need for power will be your downfall one day." She turned back to Pietro and slipped her hand into his, "It's ok...We'll work through this as a family." She said softly, patting her tummy.

Queen Bee lay on the ground in pure shock. No one had ever hit her..

Pietro instantly tried to move forward, to protect Queen Bee but Mystique managed to hold him back, "you only get one girl lover boy." she commented

"I know but..." Pietro whimpered.

"Dude" Rogue gave him a freaked out look, "she just said she was gonna feed you to lions"

"but..."

"Get us out of here" Mystique ordered, "he can't think straight with her there"

Magik nodded and teleported them back to the ship. She fell to one knee, taking deep breaths.

"Are you alright?" Ciara asked, kneeling down.
"I'm... I just need to rest."
"Thank you Magik." Ciara kissed her forehead before turning around, "Take us home, Miss Frost."

"Consider it done" Emma replied, "oh, though you may want to restrain your boy there, before he goes through with those suicidal thoughts."

Pietro dropped to his knees with a thud, he looked horrified at himself, his hands were trembling, "I... left her..." his eyes were unfocused, "she's gone... she hates me..."

"Might be a little while before it's out of his system" Mystique frowned.

They bond Pietro so he couldn't hurt him. Ciara refused to return to her seat, instead she held him, telling him encouraging words and stroking his hair.
"Deep breaths sweetie... Everything will be better soon. I know it hurts but you can get through this. I love you. Shhhh... calm yourself. Everything will be ok now..."

His fingernails clawed silently at the armrests as he stared blankly ahead the whole trip home. He felt numb and there was nothing anyone could say or do that would snap him out of it for days, even after the pheromones had long since worn off. He didn't do anything all day, he barely ate, deciding to sleep away the hours just to make them pass by.

"Physically, he's doing well" Beast was explaining to Scott, Magneto and Ciara, "She at least kept his fed well enough. However mentally... I don't even know where to begin. Every time I try to talk to him he just shuts down and builds up a wall. I can tell that it's all he thinks about but he won't talk about it and until he starts opening up, there's nothing I can do. It's like..."

"She broke his heart" Phil filled in solemnly, "Queen Bee's pheromones can make a man do many things in the name of love. Unfortunately there aren't many studies on what happens to them afterward, mostly because she's either killed them or they commit suicide before anyone got the chance."

Ciara was quiet the whole conversation. She was doing her best but she too was recovering from what happened to her. A great deal of muscle in her limbs had gone due to not being able to get up for so long. She could get up and move but mostly by will power alone.

She'd stayed by his side as much as she could. Beast had gotten her a rocking chair and she'd picked up knitting as a hobby. But to see him like that. To see him in so much pain. It was all too familiar with her experience with Sinister.

"...Is there anything I can do to help?" Ciara asked during a long pause.

"Keep trying to talk to him" Beast shook his head, "I'm not really sure how to get him to open up."

Magneto frowned, "I have an idea... although I doubt you'll like it." he turned to leave, "just give me some time with him."

Ciara nodded, she had large bags under her eyes. She hadn't been getting much sleep. Too much worrying over Pietro. "...Don't be too hard on him, Papa."

Magneto didn't reply to that. A few minutes later there was the sound of shattering glass up in Pietro's room.

Ciara had managed to doze off but the sound of shattering glass awoke her. "Huh. What?" She slipped off the couch and into the wheelchair and rolled as fast as she could to Pietro's room.

"Papa?...Pietro?" She called, knocking on the door.

"YOU'RE FREAKING PSYCHO!" Pietro yelled

"Well I guess it runs in the family" Magneto snapped back, "because you are going to leave those kids without a father if you don't quit moping!"

"THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID"

"And we both see how well that turned out, now don't we?"

Ciara sat at the door, unsure if she should open the door or stay where she was.

There was an odd breeze coming from beneath the door.

"WOULD YOU PUT ME DOWN ALREADY?!" Pietro screamed

"Not until you swear to me that you're going to be a better father than I ever was" Magneto retorted

"Like that's a hard thing to you!" he snapped back, "all I have to do is NOT DANGLE MY CHILDREN OUT A TEN STORY WINDOW"

Ciara pushed the door open and rolled into the room, "PAPA! WHat are you doing?!" She said rather alarmed. "It's not a matter if he can promise to be better! He's going through a lot of raw emotional trauma. For months, he believed he was truly loved and appreciated only to then find out that that person couldn't care less about them." Her hand gripped to her chest.

"That they were just using him, like a puppet to get what they wanted. Made him believe that everyone he cared about weren't important. That nothing else mattered but their devotion to them. Even if they hit him. Beat him. Told him lies... It was all for that love... A love that was rotten to the core." She had tears in her eyes, "It'S NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN SIMPLY GET OVER!"

Magneto had wrapped a band of metal around Pietro's ankle was currently hanging him upside down just outside the window. Both of them turned to look at Ciara as she stormed into the room.

"... Ci..." Pietro stared at her and Magneto finally set him down inside again. He knelt by Ciara and took her hand, "please don't cry" he begged. Magneto took a step forward, wanting to help but Pietro shot him with a glare, "Get out." he ordered, not leaving any room to argue in his tone.

Magneto paused, then nodded silently and left the room.

Pietro kissed Ciara's forehead, "I'm sorry" he told her softly, "I know of all the people in the world, you would understand the most. I want you to know that I never stopped loving you" he gazed into her eyes and caressed her cheek for the first time since they'd gotten back, "but there are so many things... so many things you don't know... things I did. Things that I don't know you'd be able to forgive me for if you found out."

A tear ran down her cheek as he cupped her face, It was such a simple action but it filled her with great joy to have him touch her. "I kept thinking of you as well... Whenever my mind wasn't foggy, I thought of you..." She took his hand in between hers. "Pietro, it wasn't your fault. She had you under her spell... There...There are things I was also forced to do... Things he made me do. Help him with his experiments on others... I... We've both done unspeakable things for false love.

I know you slept with her, Pietro. I know that doing so and realizing now what you did must be eatting you inside. But it's alright."

She held his face and looked into his eyes with sincerity, "What is important now, is to help each other heal from those experiences. To grow stronger; together... I forgive you... if you will forgive me for not being strong enough to save you from such a fate."

"It was never your fault" Pietro replied instantly, "I'm the idiot who couldn't save you." he wrapped his arms around her in a tight embrace, "I missed you so much"

"You did everything you could. Hells, you jumped through a Choas portal for me. That alone proves how much you care... I missed you too, Beloved." She held him tightly or as tightly as she could and her arms loosened their grip shortly after they had started. "I'm just happy you're talking to me."
