She sat down in the chair in front of the computer, "Better... Where the devil could he have gone... Is there anymore Bat like caves in Gotham other than this one?"

"A small hide-away house or two... none have been activated though and you're in the only one with proper bat-cave facilities."

"And with him tripping out who knows where he ended up... Upload the locations that have been checked. Maybe he's slipped past us. Damn it Batman, where did you wander off to?" She said getting up and turning to leave.

As she turned, a black fist came slamming into her face.

Ciara flew back against the large computer, hitting her head off of it and falling to the floor. "I think I might have fooound him." She said pulling herself back up via large computer keyboard.

Even as she was pulling herself, Batman moved in for another solid hit. "I don't know how you found this place" he grunted, "but you can't stay." Somewhere he must have had another bat-suit stashed around because he was back in his full gear, presumably bandaged beneath it to. Apparently he was very good at pretending he wasn't hurt.

Ciara deflected his attack with her left arm and slammed him under his chin with her knee, "Damn it Batman. It's me Ciara! I'm not your enemy."

As he reared back from the hit he did a back-flip and kicked out at ciara in retaliation, "Give it up Ivy, I'm taking you in." he retorted firmly.

"...Wait what-" She blinked and just barely dodged the full blow of his kick. She tapped her earpiece, "He thinks-" She paused to cartwheel out of the way, "-I'm Ivy. Please hurry guys-" She stated as she tripped a pile of rubble from the computer trying to take Batman down and was falling backwards"

"We're ten minutes away" Robin replied in a rush, "I didn't think he'd head back there!"

"Just hang in there Neptune" Oracle stated, "I can reactivate protocol 9B but you've got to get out there."

"NO!" She yelled, hand on the communicator, "He's taken far too much blood already. Another one of those and I'll need more than a pair of paddles to bring him back from the light." She rolled out of the way of his incoming ankle kick. She had barely managed to get to her feet before Batman came at her. Either he had found an un-tapped source of energy or Ciara was slowing down.

It was really too soon for her to be fighting after her shock treatment, let alone fighting Batman himself. "Time for the big guns.." She said, starting to gather streams of water but just as her freckles started to glow brightly, she felt a shockwave of pain go through her body. She let got a scream, dropping the water and falling to her knees. "What just..." She rose up on one knee and tried to block another of his attacks with a small wall of water but the same wave hit her again, allowing Batman's fist to go right through and send her flying back. She could feel her heart beating rapidly, a drumming in her ears. "My...powers.. Something's wrong."

"Ciara, forget it!" Oracle exclaimed, "just run! Get the hell out of there!"

Batman grabbed Ciara's wrist, clasping a pair of bat-cuffs on her with a swift motion, "There's nowhere left to run Ivy. You're coming with me."

"I'm not Ivy!" She protested, trying to beat him with her new cuffed arms but ended up falling over one of his arms, huffing and puffing.

Grabbing her he began dragging Ciara towards the exit by her arm, "This time, I'm going to make sure you stay in Arkham."

Ciara struggled, she reached for her communicator but just as she was pushing the button, Batman grabbed her arm, causing the ear piece to fall out and onto the floor; several feet away. Ciara tried one last time to use her powers, a last attempt to fight back, maybe if she stopped his blood for a moment again- A much stronger wave of pain shot through her body. And with her ears ringing, she flopped into him; no longer having the strength to fight back.

Batman caught her, picking her up in his arms as he swiftly walked for the exit and left the cave.

"..Bruce," She said after a short while, "I'm not Ivy, Bruce." She said softly, as the scenery changed around her.

"There's nothing you can do to change my mind Ivy" he replied, clearly not hearing her right as he brought her through gotham. It took some time because he didn't have the bat-mobile but soon enough they were approaching Arkham Asylum.

For most of the trip over, she didn't put up much of a fight but as they crossed the bridge to Arkham, she started to, "Don't do this! You're gonna regret it! We can't go in there. Batman!" The guys probably had no idea where she was and she couldn't really reach her buckle in his arms. She took as deep as a breath as possible and screamed as loudly as she could. With Gotham being a lot quieter without power perhaps they'd hear...

Her screaming did catch attention, but perhaps from the wrong people. Batman paid her no heed but he couldn't ignore the thugs that immediately came to investigate.

"Yo! it's the bat! Get him!"

"Step aside people" Batman stated calmly, "I'm bringing her in."

"What?" they blinked, looking at Ciara and back at Batman in confusion.

"What's he talking about?" they glanced at each other.

Batman continued walking passed the confused thugs. One moved in to attack but someone caught his wrist and threw him back.
"Hold it there bug-brain" Harley stated as she rounded Batman cautiously to look at him, "What're you doing back here bats?"

Batman stopped to look at her, "... Dr. Young, can you please make sure Poison Ivy's holding cell is prepared for her?"

Harley tilted her head, moving from side to side to see if he was actually talking to her. "... huh... uuhh... Yeeaaahhh, sure Bats. Come on in...." she went to the door and opened it for him. As he walked in she grabbed a thug, "Hey you, go tell Mr. J. that Bats is here-and he's still Coo-coo for scarecrow puffs!"

Ciara looked very unimpressed as Batman brought her inside. "...Yes I am Ivy?" She tried, trying to see if he'd react differently to her sentence.

Batman didn't even reply to her. He simply walked into the asylum and into the security check area where Joker himself was waiting.
"Well Batsy, isn't this a special surprise?" Joker grinned, ear to ear.

It took a moment for Batman's mind to figure out who it was before responding, "Good to see you to Warden. You might want to double check Ivy's security, I'm not sure how she got out."

Joker tilted his head to the side curiously, "Warden? Me? Oh bats, you're making this too easy." he chuckled, stepping forward to leer down at Ciara, "and he thinks you're Ivy does he? Well boys!" he called to his goons, "Take Ivy here to her cell! We're going to have to start her new therapy to recovery A.S.A.P.! HHAAAARRLLEEEEEYYY"

"Yes Mr. J. Warden sir" Harley cartwheeled over and saluted to him.

"Tell the good doctor that he has a new patient." he took on a serious face, "I'm not sure what we can do for her, but she deserves a fighting chance. There must be something in that mind we can save-after all it's her birthday! And what better gift, than the gift of sanity?" he smirked.

"Sir, yes sir!" Harley grinned back, "Common boys!" she called as the thugs took Ciara from Batman to drag her after Harley, down the hall.

Ciara shook her head when Batman called Joker Warden, "Oh for fuck sake." She mummbled. She looked up when Joker referred to her, "Yes, apparently so.. Mr. Warden."

She kicked one of the thugs who pretty much picked her up by the forearms. Her feet barely touching the floor, "Come Batman, this isn't funny anymore! Batman.. BATMAN! Bat-...Birthday?" She blinked, a little confused.

The thugs quickly moved in to beat her down again as she fought back. Joker giggled like a school girl, "You don't know? Oh, I've been waiting for today, I was just about to send out the invitations for my big surprise tonight but this, this is so much better. Thank you batsy! You've just made today so SPECIAL!" he skipped around the room.

"..." Batman had fallen silent, and rather still. His gaze trailed off into the distance, looking at nothing in particular. It was like he had completely zoned out for the moment.

"eh?" Joker blinked, waving his hand in front of the Batman, "Bats? Oooohhhh Baaaattssyyyyyy? Anybody home?"

"Fascinating" Scarecrow cooed from the doorway, "He's lost in it"

"Wha? Lost in what Craney?" Joker questioned.

"His fears" Crane stepped forward slowly, watching Batman with great curiousity, "instead of actually being afraid, he's living the delusions that everything is fine, unknowingly playing out his greatest fears in reality. This..." he snapped his fingers in Batman's face to no effect, "almost comatose, but I wonder..." he stepped back and grabbed one of Joker's thugs, throwing him at Batman.

Instinctively Batman snapped into action, flipping the thug over his shoulder and slamming him into the concrete floor. Standing again he looked around, back in the moment, "Warden, you might want to brief your guards on approaching me from behind. I don't take kindly to it." he turned to leave.

"Ah, just a moment there Batman" Joker hopped around to cut him off from the door, "We have uh, something for you here-Crane" he snapped, beckoning the twisted doctor over.

"Yes" Crane smiled as he walked over.

"Dr. Leeland, Warden, please step aside. I have work to do" Batman stated.

Ciara let out a few groans as the thugs successfully beat her into submission. She looked up as Batman tried to leave. They wouldn't let him go. Of course they wouldn't. Ciara scrambled to come up with something anything to get him to rush out of here. She took a deep breath, and acted much like Ivy. "Better hurry little Bat, or all the blue boys at the police station will be plant food. And you know how my babies get hungry."
