They stayed like that for awhile, until...

"Ceres!" Thor barged into the room, "Son of Cole says that he needs to speak with you..." he paused, blinking at the scene before him, "... It is of most urgency...

Ceres sat up, she'd started drifting to sleep. Loki had let her use her nighty as a blanket since her back was cold. She sat up, "What-" Spotting Thor she quickly grabbed the nighty and covered herself, getting up and turning her back to Thor, "Thor! Ah, right... Just let me put something on..." She hurried behind a screen where drawers hid in the walls, she pulled out a simple dress. "Coleson, right. I'll... I'll go out and talk to him. Thanks."

Thor directly his disapproving glare to Loki, "I see that you are feeling better, brother"

"Oh, much" Loki smiled, sitting up as Ceres took off to change, "Does father miss me yet?"

Ceres slipped on a shall and came back around the screen, "Did he say what it was about?" She asked, heading for the door.

"He did not" Thor replied, still eyeing Loki before he went to follow Ceres.

"Have fun" Loki smiled and waved, "Do let me know if I can help."

Ceres felt really awkward and walked at a good pace. "Oh...Ok." She paused at the gates of the city. If she went any further, Shield could grab her and put her back into her cage like prison.

"Ceres" Coleson greeted with a smile, "It's good to see you again. How are you?" he stepped up to the gates as well, knowing better than to come too close to crossing over.

She smiled lightly, "I'm good. I was wondering how long you'd be parked out here till to asked to see me... How's Polly?" She asked.

"We were hoping that you would come see us" Coleson replied, "Why don't you come onto the helicarrier and we can make this a little more comfortable"

"Why? So you can whisk me away, strap a GPS on me and put me under house arrest? No thank you." She took a couple steps back just in case.

"We aren't going to do anything of the sort" Coleson replied, looking confused, "Why would you even think that? Everything we've ever done has been at either your request or your grandfather's. If you want shield to back off of you, we can do that."

"...That's not how Fury always put it." She crossed her arms, not convinced, "I'm not stupid Coleson... even if you are married to my sister, I find it hard to believe that the fact I've been watched like a hawk is because my grandfather requested it because I sure as hell didn't."

"He asked for our help to protect you" Coleson replied, "considering who you are, that meant top level security. I'm sorry if it felt like a bit much for you but considering the trouble you got into when you went off the reservation, I can't help but think it was necessary. Those people nearly ripped your stone of your chest in case you've forgotten. And last I checked it was Shield that stepped up to get you out."

"..." Ceres wrapped her arms around herself, "More like Fury showed up at the door one day because I was causing trouble in the local park. Who would have thought healing kids scraps would cause such a ordeal." She mumbled.

"Welcome to the twenty-first century" Coleson sighed, "The world is still getting use to it and Shield it just trying to stay one step ahead of the insanity. So please, just level with us. We want to help."

Ceres didn't say anything for a few mins, she looked at Thor, then leaned to the side, looking past Coleson, "...You have sake on your plane?" She asked.

"Only the best" Coleson promised.

"...Fine, but I'm not gonna be happy if this is a trick." She said bluntly, "Even if you are family..."

"I wouldn't even think of it" Coleson replied, "and Polly would never forgive me" he added, gesturing for her to follow him back to the helicarrier.

Ceres took a deep breath and stepped outside the gates, "Oh I think you'd convince her one way or another..."

"I'm not really into using our bond against her like that" Coleson replied, "And I can't believe my own sister-in-law would accuse me of it" he actually looked hurt at the comment as he turned away from her to lead the way onto the helicarrier.

"I-I didn't mean you would! I meant that... That she really cares for you." She corrected herself. "Sorry I've been a little stressed out lately. I shouldn't be taking it out on you."

"She cares about you to" he pointed out, "and not knowing where you've the last number of weeks has been hard on her. You didn't even say goodbye."
Once on the helicarrier they settled down in a comfortable room. Coleson nodded to Thor, indicating that it was fine from here on so Thor left. They were in a lovely sitting room of sofas and chairs and a small bar on the side. Coleson got Ceres and himself a couple drinks and then settled into one of the chairs.

"A lot has happened..." She played with the glass but didn't have any, she felt ashamed to have left without saying a word. "I...I panicked. "

"And why is that?" Coleson asked curiously.
