Loki nodded and waved to the little sprite in thanks. There was no time to waste now, he quickly turned and took off into the water, swimming back. Once returned he removed his jacket, perhaps one day he would get another from Pietro to celebrate his victory.
For now however, he threw the coat back into the water.

Once Loki did so and he said his name once, he felt a great gust of wind blow past and when he looked down at his hands, they looked.... translucent. The wish had been granted.

A smile crossed his lips. Perfect. She was a witch of her word at least.
There was no time to waste, he took off.

Annnnddd.... MEANWHILE ELSE...where?

They landed on the island and the search began.


"He is here" Rogue lifted her head, turning to look over at Juno, "Horatio's energy is different from anyone else I've touched. It lingers a different way..." she stood, "and I can still feel him."

Juno arose from her stop, a small smile on her face, "Yes, it seems someone was a very bad boy and told where we could be found." She pouted, "And we'd just finished writing up the random for Ceres' dear old grandfather. Old Bastard wasn't easy to nab..." She looked over at where Oswald was being held, he sat, hands tied behind his back, on his knees with his head on the floor. He's sat inside a magic circle which was covered in wards and several chains for good measure.

"I can sense Vesta's Soul Gem as well." She summoned her scytle, "Well, Rogue... Shall we paint the island red?" She grinned wildly.

Rogue glanced at the old man before turning back to Vesta, "If we must." she replied and turned to the exit.


Ceres, Polly, Grant, Thor and Coulson(I actually looked up his name, it's spelled this way) ventured out from the ship, leaving Fitz, Simmons, Skye and Horatio back on it with May and Iron Fist as a guard. They moved cautiously, in search of Juno and Rogue, unaware that they had already been found.

Rogue looked down at them from her perch in the trees as they passed by below. Horatio wasn't with them so she left them be, turning her attention back to the ship.

Juno's cat looked at Rogue and nodded before running off. Juno would keep them distracted with the old man while Rogue got Vesta's Soul Gem and dealt with Horatio.

A cat landed about 10 feet away from the ground.

Polly reached out her hand and stopped Ceres from moving forth, which caused everyone else to stop.

"Brutus?" Ceres whispered.

The cat licked it's front paws, saw them and started to run off.

Rogue made her way back to the ship.

"Sounds like a lead to me" Coulson nodded.

"Pursue the feline!" Thor declared, taking off after it.

Ceres ran close behind him, trying to get him to slow down, "Thor! Thor!" She loudly whispered.

Polly sighed, "...Viking Gods. Can't take 'hem anywhere." She put her hands on her hips, "Alright boys, circle round. I'll go after I'll less than quiet bunch." She said before heading off.

"Somehow I thought this would be a more professional mission, surrounded by gods" Grant commented with a frown.

"You get used to it" Coulson shrugged before they moved out to do as Polly instructed.

"Return to me feline!" Thor demanded, throwing his hammer to smash up the area ahead and stop the cat from going that way.

Ceres jumped onto Thor's arm. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! It'll lead us right back to Juno." She said in a panic.

"Hm?" Thor stopped, "I thought we wanted to capture it?"

"Did you ask before charging forth?" She pointed out.

"I did not" he replied with a sigh.

Brutus watched the two for a moment till they looked back at him, having stopped in front of the hammer. He hopped over the hammer and continued down the path.

"Thor if you hurt Brutus, Juno will know. Our familiars are a part of us." Polly said, her own cat now in the shape of a cross bow. "Come on."

"Very well, I will follow you" Thor agreed.

Brutus lead them to the old warehouse beside the watch tower. It was old, weathered, and creepy. Just like one of those horror films.

Brutus wiggled his way through the side door, Polly lead the way to the door. "Alright, now no sudden movements or outbursts. Got it?" Polly whispered.

Thor nodded, ready for anything.

They entered quietly and followed Polly's lead.

That is until Ceres saw her grandfather. "Grandfather!" She yelled, running forward.
"Ceres no." Polly hissed, holding Thor back from following her.

"Ceres, stop." Oswald ordered, just in time for Ceres to stop outside the magic circle. "Barrier... too strong. Will drain...you."

She looked down at the circle. It wasn't human made circle, these runes. They weren't of this plane. "I'm getting you out." She said bluntly. She stepped forward and it felt like a thousand needles were attacking her over and over again. She grit her teeth.

Polly did a quick look around, "Thor, cover Ceres. I'll stay back in case Juno shows up."

Ceres fell back from the energy of the barrier and hissed, "So you want to play it like that do you?" Coco morphed into her staff and her outfit changed to her goddess dress. She charged forth and rammed the barrier with her staff. A pink light surrounded the barrier and engulfed it and seconds later Sparks shot everywhere as the barrier exploded. The chains fell to the ground and the wards did too. "Grandfather!"

The chains let go of Oswald as he fell onto his side. "Ceres, wait-" He attempted to say but it was too late. Ceres' foot touched one of the chains and in seconds they came alive. They wrapped themselves around Ceres waist and her staff; pulling them apart from each other separating her from CoCo.

"CoCo!" She yelled as the chains held her up in the air.

Coco tried morphing back and escaping but the chains melted into a sphere around him, and with a tinck the sphere fell to the ground and rolled a few feet.

Ceres looked on in horror. What kind of magic was this? Juno should not have knowledge like this. It was the same kind which had separated Vesta from her familiar. Who on earth had corrupted her?

"He said you would go head first..." Ceres felt the cold metal of a curved blade around her neck. Juno sat, hovering in the air above her. "Hello little sister..." She moved her blade, forcing Ceres to tilt her head backward, "Come on out Polly... And whoever else you brought with you."

In an instant Thor came flying at Juno, hammer first. Grant stepped into view next with his gun pointed at the woman and Coulson stood next to him calmly. "Is this really necessary?" Coulson questioned, "we didn't come here to fight, we're here for your help."

"It's perfectly necessary." She stated, dodging Thor, pulling her and Ceres out of Thor's range. Juno gripped her nails into Ceres hair, forcing her head back even more. "...Wait, you want my help?" She looked rather confused at Coleson, "You aren't here to rescue dear old Papa?"

"Don't get me wrong, we won't be leaving without him" Coulson assured, "but this visit is also in regard to your brother."

"I have no brother."
"Juno." Polly came out from behind a pile of crates, her hands in the area beside her head, showing she was underarmed. "Hope... Hope's alive."

Ceres bit her lip as Juno moved the blade closer, "Do not toy with me Pallas. Hope died. We did not save him. All we did was for not."

"He's alive." Ceres said above a whisper.
"Don't lie to me, you little brat." Juno pulled harder on her hair.
"Juno it's true." Pallas stated, "Hope was reborn... He is Horatio."

"Hor...Horatio?"Juno's grip eased slightly. "The boy Rogue spoke of...." Juno snapped her fingers, and released Ceres. She fell to the floor but Coco remained trapped in the sphere. Juno touched down behind her. Her eyes flashing a crimson red for a moment, "...This changes things."

Thor was by Ceres' side instantly, stepping defensively between her and Juno.

"The problem is he won't be alive for long" Coulson spoke quickly, "Whatever the four of you did before worked but the effect has weakened. He's dying again. He needs you, all four of you together."
