Ceres had very big eyes, "That's...so sad!" She wrapped her arms around him, " No matter where you go, your sisters will always be there for you. Though we may have different mortal names... Did you know Vesta was Joan of Arc?"

"Huh, that's interesting" he commented thoughtfully. It didn't really seem to bother him that he'd never had someone to rely on.

"Yeah, for the most part we aren't in the history books. Since we wanted to keep ourselves a secret but here and there we tended to make an imprint. You know when people think of witches they automatically think the witch has a cat? That was us.

But I mean it, Horatio. Even if you have to leave this world behind, our soul gems will follow you." She took hold of his hand, "And now that we've reconnected I'm sure we'll remember you for sure."

"... do you really think you'll remember me?" he asked. Of course he had to go to another world, he had to start over but he had been holding back. He didn't want to lose what he'd finally made here.

She nodded, "Uh huh. After all, it'll be recorded in my soul book... which I need to get back. We've lived many lives, in many different worlds already... I'd give you an example but without my book, it's hard to access those memories."

"Is that sort of knowledge dangerous for him to have?" Horatio asked with concern. He had run into Loki before and knew the man to be quite a pest. With too much of the wrong type of knowledge, he could become dangerous. It had taken several attempts to assure that he didn't win the battle of new york.

"I don't think so. He can only access this world's entries. And even if he managed to gain access, it's all in celestial. He won't be able to read it." She added, sighing, "In the wrong hands it would be a problem...It's basically a gateway to one's soul. You could change a person's fate by playing with one... Mind you there world would have to balance itself, so don't you think about changing people's books. Every being created has a soul book. Fury, Coleson, Eric, Loki. They all have them. The only difference is that theirs aren't kept on their bodies. There's a library in our world. With every single soul book in it. Never ending stories... You'd be able to read them, since with the right permission, they'd convert to a form you could read." She explained.

Horatio thought about that for a moment, a whole library of never ending stories? "... what happens to your story when I take you to another world?" he asked.

"...If it's not returned. I...I don't know." She said a little worried, "It's most likely I'll be a clean slate, no memories, no nothing... Either that or I'll be in a coma or something. I can't know for sure. After all, we're the first ones of our kind to do this."

"Then we must get it back" he concluded, "because I will need to move on. Now that I have my powers back, I can't afford to stick around for too long. I've wasted enough time as is."

"Oh right." She got up, "Of course, wasted." She mumbled softly to herself. "I'm gonna head to bed. Night." She quickly left the room. WASTED?! WASTED? How could he say such a cold thing?

Horatio blinked, what just happened? "Ceres?" he questioned, just as the door closed behind her.

Ceres ran down the hallway to her room and locked the door. "Wasted." She blinked her eyes a couple times before sliding down to the floor. "We've spent generations of life times trying to find you... And you think the time we had together was... pointless..." She wrapped her arms around herself.

Soon enough they were landing on Genosha.

Ceres hadn't really talked to Horatio since he'd expressed his true feelings. She'd almost been tempted for f everything and go looking for Loki herself, it made her so upset.

"Time Reaper." Scott called, standing on the dock with Pietro.

"Summers" Horatio greeted, "Pietro" he greeted as well, even though Pietro hadn't made his presence known yet. Horatio was happy to have his powers back, and he was ready to start showing it off again.

Ceres followed Horatio though Scott could tell there was some negative feelings in the air between them.

"You must be Celeste." Scott said, "I'm Scott Summers, I'll be in charge of the X squad."

Ceres was wearing a very japanese casual outfit. A black and white stripped skirt, a baggy dark pink top and a white hat,a necklace with a strange symbol on it and leggings. She bowed her head, "Thank you for accommodating Fury's request. And allowing me to visit your marvelous country."


"Well, it was hard to say no when I heard Horatio here, had family other than the grumpy lumber jack." He admitting bowing in turn, not expecting such politeness from Horatio's sister. He looked at Horatio for a moment and gave him a look like, "You're really related?"

"It's a bit of a... complicated family tree." She turned to Pietro, "Quick Silver, I must apologize for not heeding your words to ring truth. Forgive me. " She bowed very low.

Horatio, obviously missed the look, but he could heard it in Scott's tone, "And what, pray tell, is wrong with that grumpy lumberjack?" he questioned accusingly. He rather liked Logan, although they didn't really get along in a typical father-son fashion, he still had quite a bit of respect for the man. Logan was one of the few constants in his life after all, throughout the movement of time, from young to old and back again, Logan always had his back.

Scott held up his hands, "Nothing. It's just a nickname. Ahem. Anyways, Pietro and various other members of the Squad with been in charge of your security while you're here." Scott explained.

"Thank you. Though I think in a whole country of super powers beings, I should be quite safe. Pietro, has your father arrive back here for reading week yet?" She asked.

Cranewood Academy had two reading weeks. One in the fall and one in late winter.

Miss Turner placed the fresh apple pie on the window sill. Eric has invited her back for the reading week, his only request was that she cook him delicious food. She looked up and blinked, "Miss Ambrose?" She said softly as the gates opened up. Miss Turner raced to study and shook Eric awake, he'd fallen asleep reading a book. "Celeste is here!" She said, shaking him.

"You would think so" Horatio commented, "yet they seem to have repeat problems with certain individuals. Tell me, when was the last time Sinister was found on the island?" of course, he was just giving Scott a hard time now.

"My dad's here" Pietro confirmed, smoothly guiding Ceres away from Horatio and Scott so they could bicker, "He's looking forward to seeing you."


"mmnn..." Eric grumbled, then startled and the metal in the house swirled around Miss Turner, "oh... sorry" he settled it back into place. "Wait, Celeste is here?!" he scrambled to his feet, "let's go! Wait! How do I look? My goodness I'm a mess" he brushed himself off.

"Mr. Sinister or the Sinister from the other dimension?" Scott questioned.

"He knows I'm coming?" She felt even more nervous than she already was.


Anty didn't at all seem startled by this. She simply stood still till Eric knew it was her. Then she put her hand on Eric's head, "Calm. Calm...Good." She stated till he took a few deep breaths, at which point she fixed his collar for him. "You look fine, Sir. Now go." She pushed him toward the front foyer.

"Doesn't that just say it all?" Horatio asked in return, then disappeared from next to Scott and reappeared walking with Pietro and Ceres, "Don't worry about it" he encouraged her, "I won't leave your side"

Ceres gave him a pouty look but didn't say anything. 'Oh, SO NOW you won't leave me. >>' She thought as they came up to the house. "Wow... Big metal house..."

"He designed every inch of it" Pietro nodded, "and redesigns it every month or two again. I think he's gone with a variation of baroque style this time" he opened the large front doors to a grand entrance hall.

"Impressive..." She said softly, following Pietro inside. She was actually surprised at how cool the house was. As soon as she took a few steps into the entrance hall Celeste was glomped by Miss Turner.

"Miss Turner?"
"Miss you."
She smiled, "I missed you too. Having fun here?"
Miss Turner nodded, "Oh, the croissants!" She excused herself and hurried out and pushed Eric through the doorway he was hiding in.
