Eric stumbled into view, quickly regaining his composure he smiled at Celeste, "Welcome, to the Lensurre estate" he gave a bow.

Celeste couldn't help but over a small chuckle up with her hand as Eric came stumbling into view. He's presence made her insides twist and it felt like it was getting harder to breath. She blinked tho, rather surprised by the politeness, "Umm.. Thank you." She bowed back, awkwardly.

"It's beautiful" Horatio quipped with a smirk.

"That's what you said last time" Eric commented.

"Well it's different now... isn't it?" the time reaper asked.

"That's enough sass outta you" retorted the master of magnetism as he approached them and offered Celeste his hand, "Why don't I give you the tour?"

Ceres tried very hard not to chuckle at the two bickering. She looked at his hand and took it, "Sure."

"Excellent, I'll be in the kitchen" Horatio commented, "... your house is a blind man's nightmare, you realize that right?"

"Kitchen is second door to the left" Eric told him, "it has same layout as last time you were here"

"Good. That means I know where the cookies are" Horatio grinned and headed for the kitchen.

Eric waved his hand, "not anymore you don't."

"Marco." Miss Turner's voice called as Horatio headed to the kitchen. She rather like Horatio. He was very fun to talk to.

Ceres chuckled lightly in her head, "That wasn't very nice." She said, enjoying the warmth of his hand.

"What isn't very nice was the fact that he ate all of the creme filled ones from the variety pack last time" Eric replied. Two plates of metal rose from the floor beneath their feet, levitating them to go on tour around the large house.

"Ah." She stumbled into him as the floor raised upward, "You know we could just walk..." Though she did like the detailing on the roses.

As he showed her around, Ceres' mind began to wander. How much had Eric been informed of her adventures away? Had Pietro mentioned Loki? He was being so nice and she still needed to apologize. Had they...been dating when she fled? She wasn't sure since according to all those magazines she'd read, the male is suppose to ask the girl out. Make it official. Had she cheated on him with Loki?

A great pit began to form as her expression began more and more grim at the thoughts running through her mind. Eric was showing her the little hand prints windows in his room when her hand slipped out of his.

"Hm?" Eric looked back at her, "Ceres? Is something wrong?" he questioned with concern, "we don't have to do this if you don't want..." he had been hoping to impress her a little but if she wasn't interested...

"Hm what? Oh no. no. It's not that. Your home is magnificent. I just... can we talk?"

"Of course" he agreed, raising two chairs from the floor-they were surprisingly comfortable as well.

Ceres sat down, and fiddled with the bottom of her dress. "Two questions. Were...Were we dating when I left and how much of my absence have you been informed of?"

"Ah..." Eric cleared his throat as he thought a moment, "Well... I mean... we never officially said anything of the sort..." he replied, not really able to look her in the eye, "and... they haven't told me much. Pietro mentioned you were back but that you had gone back home" he looked a touch sad, "but I never heard from you. I didn't want to bother you if you weren't ready to talk to me-or if you just... never wanted to see me again..." clearly he was blaming himself for why she had left.

She put a hand on his knee" It... it wasn't you...Well, things got complicated." She explained the day that she fled and how she thought her powers were affecting everyone to be attached to her. How she traveled with Loki( Eric would note how breift her mention of Loki was), How he'd tricked her into thinking all that had happened was true.

"So he lied to me, I... I thought I couldn't go back to the school to... to you so I gave him my heart and he... he left...I'm sorry, Max."

"I see" Eric replied, taking it all in. He wasn't entirely sure how to respond to that. She'd fallen for Loki? He had been going to see her that day to figure out if they were dating or not, so he supposed he couldn't be mad for her falling for someone else but... but they had become so close... and now what? Was she here to ask that they only be friends? At least she had the courtesy to speak to him about it-a few months later.
"It's alright" the mutant sighed, "Thank you for explaining it to me."

There was a pause, Ceres rubbed her shoulder, "...So now what? None of the magazines I've read, explain what to do next."

"That depends on what you want to do" Eric leaned back in his chair.

"I don't know. I mean, I think what I did quilifes as cheating and how could you accept me after doing something like that? I guess I thought I could never be with you so I forced my feelings for you onto him, trying to move and... Since he left, I've been a mess. Trying to weed out the lies in my mind. He did so much damage. I know what I want but I don't think it's fair to ask."

"He ran off and broke your heart, I get that" Eric replied, "but what would you do if he came back?"

"...Punch him in the face and make him regard the day he lied to a goddess." She stated and it seemed like the air around her grew dark as she spoke those words.

"So you don't still have feelings for him?" Eric questioned, her anger didn't throw him off at all.

"..No. Even if I did, I wouldn't act on them. He's a liar. I gave him no reason to lie to me. I vowed to help in with his father even if he did not feel the same as I did and he lied. I can't be with someone who can't be honest with their partner. "

"Well I'm glad that you're at least talking to me about it"

She put on a half smile, "Well, I know this probably wasn't what you were expecting when I came over but I didn't want to lie to you. I wanted to be honest with you."

"Well, honestly?" Eric leaned forward, "I'm just glad you came back."
