She took a hold of his hand, "Loki please. Don't do this. It will be hard enough to get your magic back into you as it is... If you do this... You may never be the same." She cupped his his cheek, "Please. There's no need for this. You already defeated/shamed him, on his own tuff, doing this will only make him want to come after you down the road. Please Loki. Please." She was very concerned for him. The blackness in his eyes scared her and she didn't want him to suffer anymore.

It took a moment but when he finally looked at her the darkness faded back to red and then he managed to subdue it down to his regular eyes again. Loki shook his head, "I... what are we still doing here?" he demanded, grabbing her and heading through the portal back to Midgaurd

The way back to Midgaurd was the opposite of the fall, it was like being shot out of a cannon. Which wasn't as bad. Ceres still held tightly to Loki as they traveled through the portal.

Normally Loki land on his feet with ease but this time he stumbled and turned sharply. A wave of dark coloured magic flew from his hand as he caused a rock slide to cover the entrance to the well. Loki took a few steps back, the colour of his eyes were wavering, he had never taken so much of the drug before-he'd never had effects like this.

Ceres rushed over him, dodging a few rock along the way and pulled his arm around her shoulders, "Easy. Easy there." She said softly. She didn't like the looks of this. "How are you feeling? Any rushes of Magical energies?"

Loki sucked in a few deep breaths to try and calm his heart rate, but even the veins of red magic were turning black now, "I knew... I knew it was different from my own... but I didn't think it was too much... for me to handle..." the magic in his system was still growing from his last dose, growing far to fast for him to keep a hold of. His vision was blurring, his mind reeled and soon the ex-prince of Azgard found himself falling unconscious.

As he passed out, the ground around him began to show signs of infection. The black veins spread out across the rock and into the nearby grass, turning it black and dead. The air took on a thick, heavy and hard to breathe quality as the excess of magic leaked into the air itself.

Ceres covered her mouth, coughing a bit. She needed to de-tox him, fight this. Keep it from damaging the land. Who knows what effects this could have... She bit her finger and drew a large circle around him where he fell.

A large transparent pink energy wrapped around the circle keeping the magic from leaking out into the world. The bubble formed into a closed flower bud. Ceres floated over top of Loki, her goddess dress and hair floating as if she were under water. She placed her hands on his cheeks and concreted. Her eyes closed and her brow in a furry. The black smoke rose up into Ceres' soul gem and out her back as a light grey. The closed bud puffed out the grey in concreted puffs of smoke.

With each puff, Ceres' gem slowly began to darken and her skin colour slowly becoming more pale.

"Ceres?!" Horatio's voice cut the silence, they had finally tracked her down.

Juno was with them; having nearly given Horatio a heart attack when she teleported beside him back in Genosha.

Ceres didn't look up, "Horatio?"

Horatio took a cautious step forward before suddenly appearing much closer to her, "What are you doing Ceres? You do not look well." There was about a dozen Shield agents at the ready and Coleson standing back to give them their orders.

"Ceres" Spoke Coleson, "you need to stop. Let us take it from here"

"You don't understand. His magic is out of control. Too dark... It'll...It'll damage the earth. Have to filter it." She managed to say.

Juno walked up to a bush and kicked it, it turned to dust, "Shit that's some heavy stuff."

Coleson turned to Juno, "Can you help her? It doesn't look like it's doing much good for her either"

"Dark magic is never good." Juno said biting her thumb and tracing the outside of the circle Ceres had drawn. She sat down on the side of the circle and placed her hands on the bud. A transparent green seed formed in between Loki and Ceres' chest and green leaves lay attached to the bottom of the bud.

As the smoke traveled through the seed it turned from black to dark grey.

Horatio stood there, feeling helpless. Magic was one thing he had no idea how to do or help with. Finally after some time however, the flow of excess dark energy lessened and then stopped altogether from Loki's body. He still did not wake however, but at least the eerie veins had faded.

As soon as the smoke stopped, the flower bud burst apart and Ceres fell face first into the ground. Juno pulled her off of Loki as her body began to shake and her limbs moved about. Her gem was so clouded with darkness, you could barely tell it had once been pink. She made pain filled noises as she wiggled about. Juno held her tightly as she had the seizure.

When it was all said and down, Ceres lay, barely conscious, in Juno's arms. "It's ok. You did good. You did good." Juno said encouragingly, noticing how Ceres' pink hair looked almost dirty.

Polly appeared beside Coleson, "What's taking so long- Did you find. Oh my god." Polly rushed over. "Ceres, sweetie?"

"Polly!" Coleson called to her, worried that she might catch some of the infection as well, "Please" he came up behind her, placing a hand on her shoulder, "We'll take care of her, just give her some space, okay?" he waved for the shield agents to move in and apprehend the unconscious Loki. Soon they were all being taken back to a secure Shield base.

Juno also kept Polly from touching Ceres, thinking along the same lines.

Ceres had another seizure on the way there. Her body trying to deal with what had happen

Polly looked so worried, wanting to hold Ceres, to touch her but she knew she couldn't. Juno remained strong, holding her each time.

"Juno, what are we gonna do?"
"I don't know." She said. This had never happened before. Neither sibling knew what to do. They were lost.

Horatio had been silent the entire trip, he paced, disappeared now and again and came back without a word. As he liked it, he finally had enough time to process and think about the situation. Finally he approached juno, "Would it be possible for you to cleanse part of her soul gem, as she did for Loki?" he inquired, "Perhaps between you and Rogue, you could dilute it enough so that it no longer harms her?"

"Maybe. My Magic isn't as organic as Ceres though. That stunt she pulled off back there. I would have never been able to conjure on my own."

"Let alone think up.. We all have our strengths and weakness when it comes to magic. You and Ceres were much more imaginative when it came to magic." Pallas said, looking at Ceres as she lay asleep on the bed. "Her body is trying to cleanse itself, which is why she's having this seizures. "

"... I was good with magic?" Horatio blinked, he couldn't even imagine attempting to cast a spell these days. "... Do you think I would still be able to without my gem?" he wondered aloud.

Polly nodded, "Yes, you were very good actually. In fact, Ceres learned a great deal from you."
"We all did. True Father was too busy with his work..."
"You had a way about it too. It was more will power than anything."

Juno frowned, "I don't think that would be wise."
"Jane's right. Trying to use magic without your gem could lead True father right to your vessel..."
"And none of us want that." Juno added crossing her arms.
"...I think Juno and I should try some cleansing rituals first. Ceres' Grandfather had her doing them regularly."
"Might be just enough to help her remove the bad magic."

"I'm sorry I can't be of much help then" Horatio frowned, "Perhaps the two of you will be enough?"

"What are you talking my Polly into now?" Coleson questioned as he entered the room, he had come to check up on things.

"Nothing too dangerous. Though I think sky driving while juggling knives and grenades could be considered a bad idea." She joked reaching up behind her to touch Coleson's face lovingly.

"We're gonna try to dilute the dark magic a bit."

"I won't be touching her if that's what you're worried about, sweetie."

Coleson frowned, he still didn't like the sound of what they were doing, "You're still playing with dark magic though... what if..."

"Hey.Hey." She got up and cupped his face, "I would never put our child at such risks. We're just going to do a cleansing. Hopefully it'll be enough. If anything bad starts, Horatio will time teleport me out of there. But I have to at least try this for Ceres. She's family."
