Loki listened, of course it had all been of her own choosing but he had coerced her a little at least. Still, she didn't blame him and that's something he liked to hear. "I believe I owe you one" he commented, taking a sip of tea, "I don't like owing people, but I believe that while my current situation is less than ideal, had you not been involved the outcome would have been even less pleasant. Hard to imagine, I know, but true enough. So I am in your debt Ceres, just a little bit mind you, but enough to have me cooperate with this place."

Ceres cracked a smile, "O Ohhh, you can't cash your debt like that anyways. That's what the magical vow is for." She pointed at it again but then her joking tone changed, "But thank you. It really isn't necessary, that's what friends do after all."

Loki looked at him arm for a moment, it was clear he wasn't happy about the binding agreement. He got his magic back but they had all the control. "There isn't a way we could... put this thing aside, is there?" he had to ask.

"Have you seen the size of my staff...Once a magical vow is made, it's made I'm afraid." She rubbed the back of her head, "I mean, it's not like you have to be smiles and rainbows. You just can't... you know, go Godzilla on the world again."

"Even if all of Midgard is taken over by a race of incompetent apes?" Loki asked, "or what if those incompetent apes are being enslaved by another race? Which side should I be on? Who says just who is in the right or the wrong? Or am I to sit by and let them destroy each other?"

Ceres chuckled lightly at the reference, "You can't be the one CAUSING the issue." She said.

Loki chuckled a little as well, "It just isn't terribly clear, but don't suppose my arm would have been big enough to write a clear and concise contract. You know how I love fine print"

"I have the last say before any magic leaves you body. So you don't have to worry about it suddenly leaving your body."

"And you wouldn't do for some frivolous cause" Loki nodded, "which is why I insisted it be you. You're the only one around here who isn't bias. Although Juno seems fairly reasonable aswell"

"But that doesn't mean if you do go back on your promise that I won't go through with it, Mister." She confirmed and then smiled, "Big sis Juno's like that. She tends to look at the big picture."

"Yes, you do have a pesky sense of right and wrong" Loki teased, "but what I want to know is what now? She mentioned some... rehabilitation program?" he spoke the words with distaste.

"Ummm..." Ceres thought for a moment.

"Welcome to the first day of the new you." A woman began, a very fancy hand writing on the chalk board which said, "Reforming from a life of villainy. "

Loki sat beside Eric who looked as amused to be there as he did. Ceres may have asked him to go... They sat in a glass surrounded room, a few rooms down, Ceres was doing some rehab work. She was standing on a balance trainer as her physiotherapist spotted her, helping her regain some of her balance.


"Today we'll be going through what this course will entitle and what shall be expected of you."
She explained and wrote each thing on the board.

1. They would be assigned a mentor who they could go to for support, advice and practical assistance when they are released. They would have to keep in contact with this mentor and check in every 3-4 days.
2. A Therapist would be working one on one with them( to make sure they were both 'sane' and ready ((She didn't say it but they were both thinking it.)) )
3. A career counselor would help them set goals and find a job in a field that interested them.
4.They would learn about various cultures and customs, how to use a computer etc to make the transition easier.
5. And as they progress, they would be given more and more privileges and once they finished it all, Loki would be set up in an apartment or place, to start his new life.

"I'm sorry, I'm not sure I heard you correctly" Loki commented, his arms crossed firmly across his chest, "a job? I am a prince of Azgard and you expect me to what? Milk cows?"

((Had to think about it. Prisoner getting out of prison can go through the same sort of program.)

"Well, as a new restidan of Earth you will need to find something to do with your time that isn't destructive." The woman pushed her glasses up," Ceres had mentioned you were a rather good dancer, perhaps you could become a ballroom dance instructor or something. Regardless, that is what the career counselor will help you figure out. We aren't forcing you into a job like 'milking cows' for clearly you would be unhappy with such a focus and would more than likely return to your old ways. We are simply trying to give you a new path to follow. One that you will enjoy going down... Anymore questions?"

Eric spoke up, "Does ruler of Genosha count as a job? I rather like doing that."

Loki looked at him, "Mind if I join you? That does sound more appealing"

"I don't think that would be too wise" Eric replied

"Gentlemen please, try to focus. Mr. Max, since you already seem to have a job as a teacher the carreer counselor will see you but it won't be as detailed as Mr. Loki's."

Eric shrugged, but nodded. Loki rolled his eyes, "My name is Loki, prince of Mischief, Azgard, Prevaloir of secrets and master of magic, pick one that doesn't sound like a Midgaurdian mouthful of idiocy or do not address me at all, mortal"

"Fine. Loki. "

He leaned back in his chair, "well you could embellish a little" The master of trickery grinned slightly, "now tell me, what is the fastest way of this being over?"

"To take this program seriously. Those who don't keened to take much longer..."

It was a half a year of hard work and required Loki to take the sarcasm down numerous notches before they were able to finally move him out of the top secret facility basement and onto a hellicarrier instead.
That was when Coleson's little team ran into some trouble. They were investigating a shell corporation that seemed to be focusing on some old alien tech that much have been left behind ages ago. They brought Loki on board to get some insight and of course wherever Loki went, Ceres couldn't be too far, just in case he needed to be put in check.

Which also meant Eric would be following close behind Ceres. It seemed they two of them had made a good effort to stay close to each other.

Fitz and Simmons were in the lab, scampering to assure everything was in place while their guests arrived. Coleson had been called away to the cockpit and Loki was just taking a look at the bit of intel they were trying to decipher-when an unholy screeching sound resounded from outside the helicarrier. It was not mechanical, and they were far from the earth's surface.

"What on earth was that?" Eric looked up, though there weren't any windows where they were.

Suddenly Coleson came onto the intercom, "Everyone report to battle stations-and get Loki to lockup immediately."

Ceres looked up, having ducked down when the noise happened. She didn't like highs to being with and the noise was just filtering her fears.

"PANIC ROOM!" She grabbed ahold of Eric's hand and Loki's and headed down the hallway at full speed.

"Woah!" the two of them exclaimed in unison as they were suddenly being dragged down the corridor, followed of course by Fitz and Simmons who currently had the little controls for Loki's bracers. As they rushed through one of the large training rooms however, suddenly a massive chunk of the wall was ripped from it's place and the most astonishing thing poked it's large head in.

A dragon.

This beast was all black scales and razor teeth with hungry eyes, watching as everyone was being pulled towards it by the sudden loss of air pressure in the room. Eric grabbed Ceres firmly and managed to pin her behind a table with him. He also was able to save Fitz and Simmons by sending a piece of metal to catch them from falling right into the dragon's mouth.

Loki on the other hand was merely holding onto a pipe with relative ease as he looked down at the beast, "Hm. You don't see one of those every day" he commented, then suddenly let go and went flying towards the thing. He actually managed to land on it's nose, giving it a very firm kick to dislodge the beast from the side of the hellicarrier and the moment it was off he threw up a shield to cover the hole, so the room could restabilize-and then he landed nimbly in a crouch and slowly stood.

Fitz and Simmons stared at him in part wonder part horrified.
