Loki looked at her like she was some foreign thing and he didn't make any move towards her, "You have a shield large enough for a base?" he questioned. Clearly the last time he remembered being on earth was several thousand years ago, which meant that he didn't remember the invasion of New York, he didn't remember Shield or the Avengers. He didn't even remember that he was adopted, his father had disowned him or that his mother was dead. All the horrible tragic things were miraculously gone.

"No, Shield is short form for Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division. They're an organization that helps protect people from harm." She sat down, her goddess dress replacing her midgurd style pjs. Hoping the extoic clothing would feel a bit more at home with what he was use too "...Like an army of sorts. Please, sit. It seems the gap in your memory is much larger than I thought... " She held her hand open, offering a seat on one of the pillows. They'd left Loki's room just the way it was just in case he ever turned evil.

Loki took a moment to look at the Amulet. It certainly felt like his magic, how strange it was to have it exist outside of him. He carefully placed the amulet around his neck, waiting for a moment to see if it actually was a trap but when nothing happened and he could suddenly summon a ball of light to his hand, he almost seemed more irritated. "I only need to know one thing. Who exactly, did this to me" he demanded, because much like the first time it had happened, the Azgardian was pissed. No body messed with his magic, not like this. Sure there had been the time that he'd been cursed for a week to have any spell he cast turn into a random event, but that was just a prank. This felt somehow more... of a betrayal.

"Umm... well..." She rubbed the back of her head with her right arm, "You.. may have kinda did this partially to yourself. Umm... Maybe Thor should explain this. I don't know how to explain this now that I think about it."

Loki could only blink at that, "Excuse me? Now I have to know, what would drive me to do something like... this" he gestured tot he amulet then shook his head, "No, I don't believe it. This has to be some sort of hoax, who are you really?" he demanded, summoning a ball of fire to his hand.

Ceres felt offended, she stood up, "How DARE you, accuse me of lying to you! I, of all people have NEVER lied to you. I was even going to surprise you with custom best friend necklaces! I don't give a crap if you don't have your memories, how DARE YOU!" By the end of it, tears had formed in her eyes. This was too much. The man who had shown her so much, one of the few people she could call a true friend... had no idea who she was.

"You're the WORST!" She yelled and ran out of the room, slamming the door behind her and running off to the elevator.

Loki watched her run off and moved to follow but the door to the slammed slammed shut behind her, locking him inside again. Angrilly he threw the fireball at it but the sisters had already magic-proofed the walls, "Hey-HEY!" Loki yelled as she disappeared, "Get back here! Let me out of here! I AM A PRINCE OF AZGAURD! Son of Odin and Frigga! You cannot keep me here!" he snapped, but when he got no answer he tried a different tactic, "Heimdall!" he called for the all seeing guardian of his home, "Heimdall, get me out of here!" with still no reply he slammed his fist against the glass wall in frustration, "HEIMDALL!"

When Ceres came marching into the elevator, she ran face-first into Thor's strong chest. He heard Loki's screaming and looked at Ceres with concern, "What has happened?"

"Thor?" She rubbed her eyes, "Something's wrong with Loki. He... He doesn't know who I am. He doesn't remember any of his time on Midgurd. " She wept, trying to keep it together. " The last thing he remembers is you throwing a month long party for your victory or con-conquest.... I gave him back his amulet, thinking it would help but it didn't."

Thor frowned, wrapping his arms around her in a massive viking hug, "hush little one" his booming voice had a tenderness to it. He hated seeing people cry, it broke his heart, "Go tell Son of Cole, I will speak to Loki."

Ceres enjoyed the hug, minus the few seconds he hugged a bit too hard against her cast. She sniffled and stepped back after the hug, "M'k. He'll probably listen to you better than me anyways..."

Ceres tried to smile encouragingly as she headed off to tell Coleson.

Thor took the elevator back down and stepped out to speak to Loki, who seemed relieved to know that Ceres hadn't been lying about his brother.

Coco had stayed behind, Ceres had rushed out too quickly for him to follow. He hopped down off the bed and purred as Thor approached.

"Coleson?" Ceres called, knocking on the door.

"Loki" Thor placed a hand on the door and someone buzzed him in.

"Brother" Loki sighed in relief, "What is going on? I tried calling for Heimdall but even he hasn't answered. What place is this that he can't see?"

Thor looked at him sadly, "he can see you brother, but he will not answer you." and he proceeded to explain a few things, though he found it difficult to go into detail on much.

"Ceres" Coleson greeted, "How are you?"

She looked like she was gonna cry again, "...In serious need of cuddles. When is Max allowed to come see me? Loki's woken up and he has no memories of his time on earth."

Coleson blinked, "... wow... ah... hang on" he went over to his desk and picked up the phone, making a call, "Hey... yeah is he... alright... look, just send the rest of paperwork to Genosha, Summers will fill it out. I'll grant temporary level three clearance. She'll meet him up on Level five." he hung up and nodded to her, "head to level five. We'll talk later"

"Thank you." She quickly turned on her heels and made a mad dash to level 5. She hadn't seen Max since they had been taken by Sinister's men.

Eric was ready to scoop her up in his arms the moment he saw her.

And it was a good thing too because she pretty much leapt at him, burying her face into his chest and burst into tears. "I missed you..."

Max held her tight, not letting go until she was ready to pull away again, "It's alright my dear" he stroked her hair gently, "everything will be okay."

And then le snuggles.

Eric listened quietly and let Ceres cry it out. They found a secluded room to rest in but he couldn't help but notice that despite the broken arm, she seemed to be a lot better.



A little while later Thor came back up from the basement.

By the end of her crying fit, Ceres was rather sleepy, cuddling into Eric, "Remind me never to go anywhere without you again..." She said softly.


Coco sat on Thor's shoulder, purring lightly, enjoying the view of behind up so high.

Thor hadn't been able to tell Loki everything, sort of an abridged alteration of the truth. He sighed and went to Coleson, "Son of Cole?" the azgardian approached with a sigh, "I... could not tell him everything."

"I saw" Coleson frowned a little, he had been watching to see Loki's reaction.

"I know he has done this world wrong" Thor added, "but he's different now. Without all of that pain... he's my brother again."

"I understand Thor" Coleson got up from around his desk to face him, "but what happens when he does remember?"

"Then... we will cross with the bridge." Thor replied.

"It's... ah, right. I get it" Coleson sighed, "Alright, but you'd better tell Ceres. I'll inform the others."

Ceres had almost completely drifted to sleep when Coco came running into the room. She leapt onto Eric's shoulders and purred. He'd miss Max too.

Eric reached up and stroked the cat, "good to see you to" he greeted.

Thor stepped in shortly after Coco, "Greetings Max, Ceres, maybe we speak?"

Ceres inhaled quickly and sat up a bit, "Oh.... Thor. How did it go?" She asked looking worried. This wasn't easy on any of them.

Thor took a seat in a nearby chair, "I told him what happened, but I may have... I did not go into depth of the severity of what he has done.. He knows that mother is dead and that he did things to anger our father that got him outcast here. He knows that he also did crimes against the people of Midgard and that is why he is locked up here. What he does not know, or perhaps understand, is what drove him to do these things and... I do not wish for him to know. It has been so long since I have seen him so carefree." he looked rather ashamed at the secret he had decided to keep from Loki.

Over the last few years Thor had been forced to squash his own feelings about his brother and while he still helped anyway he could, he always had to be wary of what Loki would try to pull. To see his brother back to the way he was, back when Thor could actually trust him, he wanted nothing more than to hold onto that again.

"He does not remember you, but I would like to introduce you again properly." Thor offered.
