Ceres looked at them and quickly pulled her sleeves back down and her hands back into her lap. "...My vessel... When we're born, reincarnated here on Midgard, our vessel's bones are covered in runes, carved out before birth..." She said rubbing her upper chest as she started to remember, "Mine were damaged... by the dark magic that took over your body... I tried to purify it and damaged myself and my vessel... That's why my gem is so dark... When we were captured, that witch boy and the head scienist seemed very interested in me... they strapped me down and started to repair my runes. It hurt so much... During our escape, I tried to use my powers to it's fullest and caused the runes in my arm to explode..." She looked up at him, a single tear rolling down her cheek, "I saved your life, so you saved mine..."

Loki thought about that for a moment, maybe it made sense. They really were close and it was starting to sink in as a little more than simply words. "... Then I suppose my debt to you is paid"

"I guess it is..." Ceres got up and hugged Loki, "Thank you..."

Loki blinked and glanced at Thor who nodded encouragingly so Loki sighed a little and hugged Ceres back briefly before letting go. "Why is it everyone here seems to insist on hugging me? All the words in the world won't make it less awkward."

"Right you don't like hugging infront of people... Sorry." She sat back down, "...Who else hugged you?"

"Juno" he replied, "She came by earlier and gave me this series of fiction" he pointed to the Game of Thrones books. "Evidently we to, are friends. I have been busy, haven't I?" he shook his head. Even in Azgard, Siv and the others were really more Thor's friends than his. Still, they didn't mind him hanging out with them but to have made friends of his own seemed almost... strange. Yet still all of these people Thor, again, had known first. Loki could be surprisingly shy with new people at times, it was usually Thor who force-introduced him to others.

Ceres' eyes grew wide in shock, "Juno....HUGGED YOU?! Of her own free will?...Wow. Juno usually doesn't like physical contact.... Guess you're super special." She smiled widely.

"if... you say so" Loki shrugged, "I'm seriously tired of this though. Can we not take this outside?" Even though it was clear that he had designed a good portion of the inside of this cell, he hated it. Nothing about it felt right and the vast room beyond the glass walls seemed to be taunting him. He wanted a little clear sky, maybe some trees. "Can I really still be a criminal here if I have no memory of it?" he asked, he knew it was a bit of a grey area though.

Ceres rubbed the back of her head, "Like I said, they're going to come down today and clear you for leaving this room."

"Sometimes you just have to wait a little while for the paperwork" Coleson commented, having come down with Polly and the Psychiatrist. He had gotten used to Loki after the last while but to see him change so drastically now was really throwing Coleson off. He'd been keeping an eye on the security feed and it was bizarre how differently the azgardian was acting.

Polly was glowing, her stomach was round and pronounced. She didn't even seem to mind coming down to see Loki.

"Polly!" Ceres got up and left the room, "You've gotten so big. <3" She said excitedly.

"Shouldn't be much longer now... How are you feeling? You look rather pale."

"I'm ok, just tired." Ceres said, rubbing Polly's tummy.

Polly sat down on the sofa outside the glass room, "You shouldn't push yourself so much... Come on, nap time." She pulled Ceres onto the couch and rested her head against her shoulder.

"But I'm fin....fine....Zzzzzz"
Polly chuckled, "You never did like letting others worry about you."

"Alright, I need to speak to Loki alone" the psychiatrist declared, "which means everyone must go"

Loki seemed more interested in Polly for some reason. Something about her grew a small pit of dislike in his stomach.

"We'll be back later...Thor could you carry Ceres back to her room?" Polly asked.

"Certainly" Thor nodded, picking up Ceres gently.

"Wait" Loki called, stepped up to the glass, still watching Polly, "Who are you?" he demanded.

"Pallas. I'm one of Ceres older sisters." She put bluntly. "When you attacked New York City, you also rammed your staff though my husband's chest." She motioned to Coleson. "We are not friends."

Loki frowned but he didn't delay them any longer. Still, he didn't like her, that much was clear.

And Polly felt the same way. She only tolerated him because of Ceres. "Before you forgot everything, we came to an... understanding of each other. " Her eyes trailed over to Ceres but she turned and waddled to the elevator.

Coco purred curling under the chair Loki had been sitting on.

Loki watched them leave before turning back to the psychiatrist. "Well. This should be fun" he rolled his eyes and took a seat. They talked for awhile and didn't get very far. Loki wasn't going to open up to some random person, he barely did that with the people he thought had been his family. Except Frigga, she was the only one who ever really understood him and when the Psychiatrist tried to use that angle on him, she found herself promptly turned into a toad.

It took nearly a week and three mental health professionals to decide that the Azgardian was finally ready to leave the basement-and of course, that was only after much convincing from Ceres and Thor to stop turning these people into various animals, or afflicting them with hiccups or to randomly break out into song.

Ceres went and visited him every day. She brought board games, movies and various assortments of food she'd prepared. Thought once she got too tired and dozed off, usually after a good chuck of time, someone always came and carried her back to her room.

Juno also visited. She rather enjoyed playing Catan and Risk and during those games didn't talk as much as she had one on one with Loki. She didn't try to hug him again and when Ceres teased her about it in front of Loki she punched Ceres in the arm and blushed.

Polly had given birth to a healthy adorable baby boy which meant that Coleson was taking time off aka lightened his work load to only include paperwork involving Loki.

It was strange, Loki thought, to have so many visitors every day to keep him from getting too bored. He wasn't sure he would have received the same treatment in an Azgardian prison-which apparently he had also been in at some point. It sounded like Thor's friends had all but given up on him. Who would have thought he would find something of his own in this primitive world?

And yet there were things about it that still bothered him. He didn't really bring it up anymore, he saw how uncomfortable it made Thor anytime Loki questioned too much about his past misdeeds but just because he wasn't asking didn't mean he wasn't trying to figure it out.

The Azgardian had down right refused to commit to another binding spell and after what had happened last time they were able to settle for a new pair of gauntlets instead. These ones were made of a stronger metal that wouldn't be worn down so easily.

And now, after a long ride in a windowless room of one of Shield's smaller hellicarriers, Loki stepped outside and breathed in the fresh air. It felt like he had been hidden away much longer than he actually was.

Ceres walked down the ramp behind him, carrying a small picnic basket and ducked as Moon flew out, excited to see a meadow of long fresh grass and flowers.

Ceres had continued teaching Moon how to speak and various other things. These lessons took place just outside of Loki's cell as the Dragir seemed to have no interest in leaving Loki. Whenever Ceres dozed off, the Dragir gripped her by the collar and dragged her over to the side of the cell and curled up around her.

The first time this had happened, the people watching on the camera freaked but soon learned that Ceres was in no real danger...

"The academy is just up the mountain range there. It's all covered in forest so there's no where they could land this." She pointed, also happy to be out and about.

Loki looked around, it wasn't home but at least there was open sky, "Hmm... I still don't see it" he commented as they started walking.

"What do you not see?" Thor questioned.

"A reason to take over Midgard" Loki shrugged, "it really isn't that interesting here."

"Well, you've only seen a small amount of the wonders of this realm. There's the internet, magic, all types of super heroes and technology, various cultures and countries that speak a number of languages. I think you wanted to make this a better place since you had been banished here..."

"Hm..." Loki thought about it for a moment, "I could solve a lot of the issues around here."

"Well, if you want I could introduce you to a friend of mine. He's always looking for ways to help people."
