"Nothing grand" the well replied slowly, "not even a whole thing in itself... simply a piece. A piece of Hope's soul stone. With that, I could have him be the brother you always wanted."

"...Hope's soul stone?!" She stood up, her mind racing to what that would mean. "Impossible." She'd have to somehow make it back to their plane of existence and steal Hope's soul stone from True father without him noticing her. "It can't be done. You ask a fool's errand of me!" She turned her back on the well and began to walk away but her mind continued to think of how she would get it...

"It broke" the well whispered, though the sound carried, "when it was taken from him. All cracked up, so much that True father didn't notice a shard fall away. You didn't notice either though. You were so focused on the soul that fell ahead, that you never looked behind you"

"..." Ceres stopped when it spoke and turned on her heel, Wand at hand, "You know far too much for a well that grants wishes. Who or what, are you!" She demanded.

The water bubbled a little as it chuckled, "Many mistake me for a mere wishing well, but I see all, know all. I am the well of knowledge but there has always been one little detail that alluded even I, until now. The faces of the gods. I can see them clearly now, in your mind, Ceres for they are everyone you love, everyone in your heart. This is the gift I take for you to make any wish you desire that is within my power.
But bringing your family back together takes more, it takes the ability to control a god-of which is beyond my reach. Give me a piece of his stone however and all that you see can be yours" the image returned to the pool, the happy family smiling and waving and calling Ceres to come join them for a picnic. "Hope is the one who can do it all. He broke your family apart, he can bring them back together and I can see how. But he would never do so of his own accord. He will never let you be a family again."

"Hope will never let us be a family again?..." She replied softly to herself. A endless pit began to form in the depths of her stomach, "...If I were to get this piece, where would I find it?" She asked, not looking at the waters.

"Under the tree of many colours..." Ceres turned away from the well and took one last look back at the smiling family. "I-I'll think about it." She said and started to leave. Her feet felt heavy and her head was pounding. She just wanted to cry.

Loki had already long gone and by now Shield was attempting to get through the brush without much luck.

Ceres walked out without much difficultly. The vines and such seemed to move out of her way as she wandered back out. She looked up, having been zoned out in her own little world.

"Oh, Loki isn't here?"

Coleson looked at her incredulously, "Ceres, no, he isn't. He was supposed to be in there-where is he?"

"I think he wanted to be alone..." She rubbed her arm, "Don't worry, he didn't make any wishes. He just wanted the nightmares to stop. Could you contact Doctor Strange? When we find him, he'll be able to help Loki with his problem..." Ceres was pale and didn't seem like herself.

Coleson reached out to rub her shoulder, "Sure... are you alright though?"

Coleson touching her shoulder was just enough make her inhale quickly and rapidly, her body wanting nothing but to burst into tears. "I-I...I just need some time." She said trying to hold it together. "When you do find Loki, don't be mad at him. He just wanted to fix his problems himself....Excuse me." She wrapped her arms around herself and walked up the landing ramp onto the helicarrier. She needed to find a closet or somewhere to cry.

After a few minutes of being locked in the bathroom, Eric knocked on the door lightly, "Ceres? What's wrong?"

"E-eric? When did you get here?" She called from the other side of the door. She was sitting on the closed lid of the toilet, her eyes were puffy and red, her nose had become runny. She looked like a mess.

"A little while ago" Eric replied, "Coleson told me you were upset about something so I grabbed the nearest metal and flew over. Apparently I can break the speed of sound."

Ceres let out a few laughs. Of course, he did.
"Y-You shouldn't have. I know you're very busy with all that Gen-Genosha stuff.." She sniffed, standing up and drying her eyes.

Eric leaned against the door and slid down to the floor, letting her have her privacy at least a little, "I'm sure they can fix the left side of the island without me. You're more important."

Ceres knelt down on the other side of the door and rested her forehead against the door, a hand on the door. "...What happened?" she asked, trying to deflect the conversation.

"Just a little accident" Eric shrugged, "someone's powers went off and compromised the stability off the side of the island so it needs a little work or half the island will sink."

"Did anyone get hurt? Will they all be ok? You should be there helping!"

"IT's fine" Eric assured, "everyone's alright. Honestly, I don't even do much around there anymore. Summers and his people have pretty much taken over..."

There was a pause and the door opened slowly. Ceres rested her head on Eric's shoulder and wrapped her arms around him. "Chu..."

He smiled and patted her hand, "Would you like to come back home with me?" he offered, "or, you know, we could go for an adventure. Sweden, spain, Argentina, you pick and I'll take us there."
