Ceres looked to Juno, "What do we do?!"

"I...I don't know." Juno said pulling out her weapon and jumping infront of Hinda, "But I won't let you hurt her!"

"And how do you intend to do that?" Loki inquired, "Are you going to kill me?" The frost giant guards stepped forward, they weren't going to let anything happen to their King after all.

While Loki was focused on Juno, Hinda looked over to Ceres, meeting her eyes and then looking towards the door to the left. They hadn't gone down that way before because it was the half of the palace that hadn't been finished. Damaged and deadly as Loki had told them.

If Hinda was guiding Ceres that way, then it must be important. She bolted it through the door.

The sudden movement caught Loki's eye and he turned sharply to throw his dagger at Ceres.

Ceres turned her just as Coco ran up her arm and swatted the dagger away from Ceres before returning to her shoulder.

"Good Coco."

Loki glared at her, then spoke to the guards, "Kill them." he ordered.

The frost giants moved forward with haste. They were outnumbered at least five to one with more on the way.

Hinda scrambled to her ghostly feet and took off in a run after Ceres.

Juno followed suit, taking up the rear.

They raced through the icy corridors, quickly finding themselves in a less than appealing situation as many of the floors had broken away into deadly drops. More than once they found the ice beneath their very feet crumbling away or shifting with instability. Hinda found herself continuously dropping to the back to either scare away or send the frost giants to sleep whenever they started to catch up. She hadn't had much time to figure out her new found powers as a sister, but damn were they helpful.

As they rounded another sharp corner, Hinda pulled the two to a small alcove that split into the ice wall. Then, place a hand near the entrance a thin layer of ice grew to hide the small opening. The giants raced right by without seeing them, giving the three a chance to catch their breath.

Once they were in the clear, Ceres spoke, "Hinda, Do you know where the other parts of Loki are?"

Hinda gave a bit of an iffy shrug, then sat down in the snow and shaped two distinct piles, one larger than the other. Both of them she portrayed as Loki, but the bigger one was a happy face and the smaller one had an angry face on it. Little by little, as she moved the pile of snow over to the angry face she was able to explain.
Apparently, over the past numerous days, the survivor had been around the palace, slowly draining Loki of his life force and even of some of his more useful personality traits. That explained the lack of focus and times where-despite trying to hide it, he just seemed so tired. It was a slow process but now the survivor had taken almost everything, leaving a very small amount left behind to die, somewhere in this ruined half the palace.

"Well we have to find the other parts of him before they disappear then... Let's go" Juno said.

They continued searching the palace, the place was huge and crawling with Frost Giants but at least they had their size as an advantage. They could fit through smaller spaces, get across the rickety bridges and remain unseen-though Ceres' bright pink jacket wasn't helping. Eventually they found him, there was just one problem.

Loki was on the far side of a deep crevasse, slouched against the wall with his wrists frozen in place to keep him from going anywhere. Oddly enough he wasn't in his frost giant form but rather looking azgardian. The only blue skin that did show was more of a frost bitten colour around his fingertips and lips. He wasn't moving, nor did he look conscious but he was at least alive as was evident from the tiny wisps of warm air coming from between those bluish lips.

"Hold on." Juno teleported them over and Ceres took her coat off and placed it on Loki.

"Loki. Hey. Wake up." She said patting his cheek lightly.

His head merely lulled to the other side.
Hinda knelt by him, shaking him lightly and looking just about ready to cry when he did not stir.

A slow clap echoed across the cavern as the Survivor stood on a perch above, "Well well, congratulations are in order. You made it just in time to watch the last pitifully useless bits die away. I am all that Loki is now-and let's be honest here, that's been true for a very long time already, years in fact. Can you even imagine me fumbling around without a plan, without some sort of goal to strive for? Something to live for. Let's face it, these last few weeks haven't exactly been sitting right with either of you, have they?"

"...Juno find a springling." She whispered before her sister, stepped out of view behind a large column and vanishing.

"Maybe they haven't been perfect and perhaps it was a mistake to remove you completely from Loki but I do not regret taking the power away from you and letting Trust free. YOu have been in control for far too long. It's time Loki grew past you." Loki needed that part of him but perhaps if they somehow contained it... took all it's power away..."

"It's too late for that now" Survivor replied, "He's gone" he pointed to Loki, the little breaths that had been barely showing on the air were gone.

"WHat? NO!" Ceres knelt down and placed her hands on his chest, her hands glowing pink. "Stay with me. Breathe!" She pinched his noise and wrapped her lips around his.

Juno returned with a Springling.

"JUno! Someone! HELP!"

The sprigling moved forward but only found itself getting trapped in the ice as it rose in spikes around him. In fact the ice was moving all around them, ensnaring first the cats and then going for Juno and Ceres themselves.
Hinda gritted her teeth and made a run and jump accross the edge, her ghostly form able to glide far enough for her to grab the far side. She started climbing up to the survivor with a fire in her eyes. Having been brought down by her once, the survivor immediately directed his attention to trying to skewer her.

Ceres saw what Hinda was trying to do, a distraction was in order. Standing in front of Loki and out of the Survivor's eye sight she gasped.

"LOKI! You're ALRIGHT! JUNO, he's alright!" Ceres yelled.

Juno looked at Ceres and saw what she was doing. "...HA! So much for there only being one of you! "

"What?!" the survivor growled looking over for just a moment-and a moment was enough. Hinda made it up to the survivor's perch and launched at him but he looked back just in time to catch her attack. They locked fists, the Survivor's body becoming ghostly once again at her touch but even with the strange flowing white wisps around him his skin was frost giant blue and his eyes burned dark red.
"I have had just about enough of you" he hissed as his hands became ignited with green fire. It didn't seem to affect him much but Hinda gasped and tried to pull away as it spread up her arms. A look of terror entered her eyes and she tugged and pulled, her mouth open in a silent scream as the Survivor refused to let go and the fire spread across her ghostly flesh.

"HINDA!" Ceres yelled. She couldn't do anything. She was powerless. "FIGHT HINDA! FIGHT!"

And Juno was stuck in place by the ice. The ice which she was trying very hard to free herself of.

The little sprigling actually managed to free itself pretty quickly, apparently they were one of the few, or perhaps the only creatures in Yodenheim who actually dealt with heat at all. He went over to Juno and melted her out next, since she was closest.

Hinda dropped to her knees, the Survivor still holding onto her hands as the fire began dissipate. Finally he let her go and she collapsed fully to the side.

The Survivor then turned back to the rest of them, a deadly look in his eye, "Well then. Who's next?" he hissed.

"Pika-boo!" Juno yelled a second before she made impact with his head, having fallen from at least 1 story.

Ceres turned her attention back to Loki and was trying to heal him or keep him alive or something. But her magic wasn't as reliable as it once was.

The Survivor was barreled down to the groudn by the blow but he was still ready to get up and fight as he reached for Juno's neck.

The sprigling nudged Ceres and then moved to the other side of Loki, holding it's hands out over him, he pointed to Loki's mouth. While he didn't speak English, he chittered something else, seeming to imply that she should try CPR again.

Ceres nodded, "Got ya little guy." She said before pinching Loki's nose and breathing into his mouth and continuing CPR on him
