While Ceres worked on keeping Loki's lungs in function, the sprigling started warming him up. It felt like a miracle when the king suddenly made a gasp for his own air. Loki's eyes opened with little icicles on his lashes. He was shivering like crazy still as the sprigling started to work on reversing the frost bite.

The Survivor was having a bit of a time with Juno, she was certainly fast but the fact that she couldn't kill him without killing a few crucial parts of Loki was holding her back and that was something he could take advantage of. Finally he managed to grab Juno by the neck and pin her against the ice wall.
"You know I have two choices here" he growled, "the power of sisters can put you to sleep forever... but the power of the frost giants can freeze you to death almost instantly" he grinned as the cold in his blue hand began to spread as black frost bite into Juno's exposed neck.

Ceres could have simply cried from happiness. He was breathing. But instead she started taking off her scarf, mitts etc and putting them on Loki to keep him warm. She put her bare hands on Loki's face, "It's ok. We've got you, love." She whispered softly.

"So many-many choices..." Juno managed to say while delivering a swift kick to Survivor Loki's lower reign.

Even a frost giant, hopped up on ghost powers with Loki's magic was not immune to that, he went down immediately.

Loki flexed his fingers after the sprigling had finished repairing them, it was good to have some feeling back there, "... i-is th-th-this what it's like t-to be c-cold?" he shivered uncontrollably.

Ceres couldn't help but smile a little bit, "The Kotatsu Futon doesn't sound like such a weird invention anymore does it?" Now he knew how she felt and was currently feeling, having given her coat and such to Loki. But he needed it more.

"We have to do something about your Survivor part of yourself..."

Loki reached up to touch her cheek, his fingers were still cold as ice but at least they had circulation again, "Get him close... I think I can... take it back..."

"When you do, we'll be ready for him." She bit her index finger and pulled up his shirt. "It's a protective seal. It won't seal him away completely but perhaps just enough that he's no longer in control." She said when Loki gave her a look. A look that also meant, "AH IT'S COLD DON"T LIFT MY SHIRT UP."

She pulled his shirt back down and turned, "You failed Survivor. Loki lives. You failed only because you didn't finish him off yourself."

The Survivor turned to look down at Ceres, "I will have to remedy that then." he glared, particularly as Loki started trying to get up.

Ceres gave Loki her shoulder to lend on. "I'd like to see you try!"

The survivor leaped down from the ledge and landed on their side of the cavern. He threw Ceres aside which caused Loki to stumble back against the wall. "You have no will left, no strength" the survivor growled, grabbing Loki by the throat, "How you even manage to stand is beyond me, but it will not last."

Loki winced, barely able to wrap his hand around the wrist that had him pinned against the very cold wall. Slowly his grip tightened however as he managed to begin siphoning back what was his, "I can do this and yet more" Loki whispered in response, "because you made the same mistake that I often do... you forgot to crush out love."

"What?!" the survivor hissed and tried to pull his hand away but now Loki wouldn't let go, not until every part of him was pulled back together again.

"Sappy, I know." Loki replied dryly, "but pathetically true."

Ceres hit her head against a rock and passed out.

Juno teleported to their side and cheered, "Go Loki, go!"

"Is this really what you want with your life?" the Survivor questioned, "they've tamed you. You've given up on Azgard. What sort of life do you expect to have here? Frost Giants do not respond well to weak leaders" the transfer was slowing, coming to a stop as he fought back to keep what he had taken.

Loki's grip began to falter a little. The survivor was trying to put him to sleep with the sister's power and it was not easy to resist, "I expect... to have a life... without any more chains" he hissed.

Then, out of nowhere, Hinda had summoned the strength to stand and with a last desperate attempt she launched herself at the survivor, ripping him away from his host as well as herself and the two fell back into Loki where they belonged. The bodies of the sisters fell over the edge and down into the abyss below.

Loki dropped to his knees, the cold finally leaving his shivering bones as his skin turned blue to compensate for the chill.

"Easy there." Juno said kneeling over Loki.

Ceres opened her eyes and saw the little creature over top of her, "Thanks...Loki?"

"Over here." Juno said, "He's alright."

Loki winced and wrapped an arm around his stomach, "I've been better...." he cringed, resting his forehead on the cool ice floor.

((I got called into work early. YaY hours! But I won't be online much))

Ceres knelt beside him, "Just take it easy, ok? Your body's been through a lot of trauma. Do you feel a tingling burning feeling in your stomach?" She asked. If he was then the protection seal was working it's magic.

"What'd you do?" Juno asked, raising an eyebrow at Ceres' question of symptoms.

"A protection seal, you know the one we use for half demons."
"Ah. Quick thinking." Juno knew about seals but she wasn't much into using them. More of a basic knowledge. Her family was more combat magic ready. "Remind me what that one does." She asked not remembering.

"Usually it helps half demons control their demons selves. Though it's not a demon we're dealing with, it should put a collar on our 'Survivor' friend." Ceres explained.

"Huh, right." Juno nodded and telelported all of them back into the large guest room.

"You forgot about it didn't you?"
"Shut up, Petal pusher." >//>

Loki moaned and lay back near the fire. Apparently the spriglings had kept it going even though Ceres and Juno were supposed to leave-they didn't get much chance to have a fire after all. He called one of the spriglings over to tell the frost giants to stop running around, looking for the intruders but that was about as much as the King could do before his eyes rolled back and he passed out. It was going to take some time before all those personalities were worked out again.
A few of the spriglings came forward to help heal him physically at least while he sorted out the rest in his head.

Ceres and Juno made Loki comfortable beside the fire, placing a pillow under his head and a blanket over top of him. Ceres curled up in her sleeping bag beside him.

She didn't feel like sleeping. She was worried but as the night went on, she did dozed for a few hours before she awoke with a start. The necklace. Where had the necklace gone?

She searched high and wide for the piece of jewelry..

It was nowhere to be found, whatever the survivor had done with it, it seemed to be lost.

She kept looking. She felt tears forming as it become more and more hopeless.

Juno sat by the fire when Loki finally woke from his slumber.

It actually took about three days before Loki stirred. Occasionally he would toss and turn, as though in a dream but for the most part he lay quietly. When he did wake, he still looked exhausted, but at least he seemed better as he sat up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes, "remind me to never do that again" he commented dryly.

Juno chuckled, "Noted. Here." Juno poured him some tea from the pot.

Just as he started to reach for the offered tea, a suddenly churning in his stomach caused Loki to hurl onto the floor. He paused a moment as he waited for it to settle again, then grabbed the tea and chugged back a couple gulps of the scalding drink to wash away the taste.

"Easy, there." Juno said, taking the cup and filling it again. "I'm surpised you have anything in your stomach to throw up. You've been out for 3 days now."

Loki nearly choked on his second cup of tea, "three days? And I'm not dead?" he exclaimed. Mind you, over the last three days there had been a total of five Frost Giant deaths, and two spriglings that Juno knew of. What little information she could get about it was that they had been a threat to their King. The giants hadn't been terribly keen on letting Juno and Ceres take care of Loki either, they had posted a guard outside the door (they weren't fans of the warmth) and there were always several spriglings present. "I think I'm going to have to reward my head of guard." Loki commented, running a hand through his hair.
The king then proceeded to explain that there was a lot-A LOT of civil unrest across Yodenheim. For the most part they didn't even mind that Loki had not only killed Laufey but Byleistr as well, it was more a matter that he was half Azgardian that they didn't like. They were used to having people kill to become King, it proved that whoever managed to stay on top was strong and worthy, but to have someone of only half their kin on top? It was unacceptable for many.
In Loki's previous state, he had pretty much just let it be for weeks on end. He had barely had the sense of mind to collect those loyal to him close to the palace but aside from that he hadn't cared enough to do anything about the rest. There were numerous factions that, if left unchecked, might actually succeed in killing him one day. Valhalla forbid if they ever got mind to join forces. As it was however, there were battles raging between the different nations, it was essentially a Game of Thrones world out there and Loki had been playing the idiot King Jeoffrey.
"And I just... let them" he pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration, "I have only succeeded in making Yodenheim worse."

"It always gets worse before it gets better when it comes to the society." Juno said. "Now that you are more sound of mind, you can take action. Ceres will be pleased to hear you're awake."

Loki let out a deep sigh, "and there is much, much work to be done." he looked up at the mention of her sister, "Where is Ceres?"
