"And we'll help anyway we can." Upon the mention of Ceres she sighed, "Wandering the castle looking for a necklace." Juno explained how Ceres had given the necklace ment for him to Survivor. "She had them custom made and it meant a lot to her for you to have it. Aside from watching over you, she'd been searching high and low for it."

"A necklace?" Loki raised a brow, "She's rather sentimental, isn't she?" he couldn't help but smile a little.

"Tell me about it. She They were quite lovely too. Your was serpent shaped and hers was swam shaped. Pink and Green gems..."

A little springling came running into the room in a panic. He seemed very alarmed, waving his arms around as he spoke in his gibber gabber language.

"What is he saying?" Juno asked, still not understanding a word of their language.

"Pink haired lady! Cliff!"

Loki quickly got to his feet, perhaps a little bit too quickly seeing as the room gave a little spin when he did so, "Ceres is in trouble. He shook his head to clear it, "Take us there"

Ceres was about 10 ft below the cliff that Survivor's ghost body had fallen into. She'd strapped spikes to her shoes and had ice picks in her hands as she slowly made her way downward.

It had to be on that sister's body... It had to be.

"Meow" A tiny kitten head popped out of the top of her coat.
"I see it, Coco..." She said jumping down to the ledge a few feet below them, her ice grips keeping her from falling. She took a deep breath before continuing downward.

The sprigling lead Loki and Juno to the place and Loki leaned over the edge to look down at Ceres, "Ceres!" he called, "what in the nine realms do you think you are doing?"

"Getting back what that jerk took!" She said looking up after a moment. "Oh...Hi Loki..." She blushed, she was hoping he would still be sleeping when she got back

"Ceres, it isn't worth it! Come back here." Juno called.

"Do you have ANY idea what I did to get that made? It has magic embedded in it as well being one of a kind!"

Loki knelt by the edge, looking down at her, "Ceres. YOU are one of a kind, and I do not need a necklace to know that."

"But it's special just like you...." She looked up, clearly very upset over losing it.

Loki gave her a look, "Get back up here, or I will come down and get you myself. And to be quite honest I'm still a little dizzy and that will not likely end well."

There was a pause, "Ok. I'm coming up-" She began placing her ice pick into the wall and trying to pull herself upward. "I....I can't pull myself up." Going down was easier than up. "Ah-" She yelled as she slipped slightly, quickly slamming her body against the ice wall, her body stiff in terror.

Juno looked down at Ceres,"Ceres don't move. I'm coming down to get you." The wind was starting to pick up. "I'm gonna need a rope." She said her large sctyle turning into two smaller ones.

Loki backed away from the edge, he was in fact feeling dizzy again, and called to one of the spriglings who hastily fetched a rope for Juno.

"Sit." Juno ordered when she saw him rocking back and forth. "Last thing I need is for you to fall in as well." Juno walked over to a near broken column, it was still attached to the ground and would hold their weight. She tied a figure-eight loop knot followed by a strangle knot to secure it to the large circular mass. She then wrapped the rope around herself and tied it.

"Once I'm down there I can teleport us back up. Tend to him will ya?" She said motioning the Springling to Loki.

"I'm fine" Loki insisted, waving the sprigling off, though he did take a seat near the edge where he could see what was happening without falling. Waving his hands he smacked the ice floor, causing several footholds and grips to appear on the way down to Ceres.

"No you're not." Juno stuck her tongue out at him playfully before using the new footholds and grips to make her way down to Ceres.

It was about 10 mins later when Juno got down to Ceres' level.

"Hello silly lady."
"Hi Juno." Ceres said softly rather embarrassed by not being strong enough to pull herself back up.

A few mins later, Juno teleported them safely back onto the top of the cliff upon landing Juno poked Ceres into the forehead.

Ceres put her hand on her forehead, "Ow."
"Don't do that again, you should have let me climb down if you were so determined." Juno lectured.

"I will instruct the spriglings to look for this necklace" Loki told her, "they know the area better and can navigate the ice as well. Leave it to them"

"Ok..." She said giving in. She knelt down beside Loki, redirecting her attention. "How are you feeling?" She said before turning her head and letting out a high pitched sneeze.

"Better than You apparently" he replied. "You should get back to the fire"

" It's no big deal." Ceres tried to push the subject aside. "Come on, let's get you back into the nice part of the castle. I'll make you some miso soup."

Loki gave her a raised eyebrow, clearly not believing her. Mortals were so much more... fragile, and while he often dismissed that fact when it came to the goddesses, perhaps he needed a reminder. This place was cold, even for the average Azgardian to stay in for too long. Had he actually managed to make the guest room warm enough? Was she catching that 'cold' that she seemed so worried of him getting? Just how serious was one of those midgardian colds?
"Perhaps you should head back to Midgard" the king of yodenheim suggested, "and I swear the suggestion has nothing to do with an alternate me trying to take over everything."

"I'm alright really. I've just been out of the guest room a maybe too long." She sniffled. "And I couldn't leave you like this."

"Going on 6 hours. I'm surprised you hadn't retreated back to the fire sooner." Juno said softly.

"It hasn't been so bad the last couple of days. Almost seems warmer."

"That and the Springlings giving you warm ups and hot baths. Loki, those little guys should get a raise. I've never had such fine service." Juno praised.

"Come on you. You need some rest and some soup." Ceres said, moving to help to help Loki up.

"You speak the things that you need more than I" Loki commented, getting to his feet, "What do you mean a 'raise'? A raise in what?"

"Juno I don't think they get paid." Ceres said, "And a cold isn't very serious you know."

"Well they should."

"The spriglings and Frost Giants came to an agreement of sorts many years ago" Loki commented on their way back to the guest room and the warm fire, "The spriglings serve them and the Frost Giants don't wipe them out. While I do not necessarily approve of the arrangement, it is not something easily altered."

Juno pouted, not liking the whole idea but it couldn't be helped. This wasn't their realm.

Ceres smiled and linked her arm into Juno's "What if I made them scarfs and such?" Juno smiled at the idea. "Would that be alright?" She asked, looking at Loki.
