Amra was more than happy to explain. Her father, Gadesh, was apparently a very important man, one that was recognized across the regions of Yodenheim and quite frankly by the way she told it, if Loki had not been present to take the throne after his brother's death, then most of the Frost Giants would have been happy to turn to Gadesh as their new leader.

"Well it's a good thing I am here then" Loki quipped with a smile, "otherwise you would only have ever been a princess, not a queen."

Amra laughed lightly, she did after all have many elder brothers-each evidently as ruthless and powerful as their father. From all accounts, this was not a family you wanted to piss off.

Juno laughed lightly as well, being as charming as she possibly could. Asking questions and letting Amra ramble on all the while, thinking about how easy it would be to remove this woman's head, teleport over to her home and remove the rest of them all before bedtime fixing Ceres' current issue.

But that fantasy would be short lived, what with a good deal of Frost Giants behind this family... Politics. Juno HATED Politics.

The night wore on and eventually Loki convinced Amra that it was time for bed so they bid Juno goodnight.
"Oh, and I do hope your sister... what was her name?" Amra asked as they were about to leave but she shrugged it off as though it didn't really matter, "I hope she is feeling better of the tomorrow"

"Ceres. And yes, I'm sure she will be feeling better. She so does enjoy meeting new people. She would love to hear all about you." Juno smiled before turning and once her back was turned the smile disappeared with a look of disgust replacing it.

Loki escorted Amra away.

The next couple of days seemed to drag on for Ceres, most of the time she seemed rather spaced out unless in the company of Amra who she tried her best to smile and act like she was interested in, instead of bashing her over the head with the water pitcher.

Ceres had tried to go to see Loki in his private chambers but found out that Amra was there keeping Loki company. Ceres quickly excused herself, saying the matter she wish to discuss with his highness was not important enough to bother the happy couple.

She barely ate and the fact she hadn't been able to speak to Loki alone since Amra's arrival was not helping.

Ceres found herself standing on the edge where the surivior part of Loki or at this the sister fell over into the darkness. She just stood there staring, her mind blank.

"Thinking of jumping?" spoke Amra in an eerily cheery tone as she stood not far behind Ceres.

Ceres felt like she'd bee stabbing in the back and forced her face into a more pleasant face and turned. "Amra... No... Just thinking of what I lost down this hole." She said softly. "And how I will never see it again."

"It is funny how that happens, no?" Amra commented, "If you are not careful, something that you really care about can slip away right in front of you... and once it is gone, even if you do find it again someday, it is like it has been changed forever."

As Amra spoke Ceres felt her chest get tighter and tigher, "...I'm sorry?" She looked up at Amra.

"My apologies" Amra replied with a sickly sweet smile, "Are we not speaking of my fiance?" her eyes were wicked, "I have seen the way that you look at him." she stepped forward, towering over Ceres and it became disturbingly apparent of how easy it would be for her to simply shove Ceres off the edge, "I do not like it"

Ceres felt her breathing pick up, "I'm afraid I don't know what you're-" She looked up into those eyes and felt her icy stare drive into her very soul. "...I didn't know. Loki didn't tell me... I... I won't come in between you too." She said even though it broke her heart."It's clear who would win and it isn't me..."

Amra gazed down at her for a few moments, then smirked, "Smart girl" she replied, taking half a step back to allow Ceres a little more leeway from the edge, "Then you agree with me. It must be time for the little midgardians to leave."

"L-Leave? But. I..." She began, taking a step forward.

"Have no place here?" Amra finished her sentence, "I agree. Loki has no use for you, you are only an unneeded distraction. You will be gone by morning." she turned to leave, dismissing Ceres with a wave of her hand.

Ceres fell to her knees feeling so powerless, her chest began to throb and the tears finally began to flow like rivers. To leave was the right thing to do. Loki would rule with a Queen by her side. A queen of their people. Not a foreign, a stranger...

Yes. She was a distraction. He said he loved her. That he had feelings toward her but then he didn't show any resistance when Amra threw herself at her.

"...No." Ceres yelled after Amra. "I will leave only when Loki wishes it. Then and only then will I leave." She stated, getting up and standing as tall as she could. Which, compared to Amra was not very tall.

Amra paused and looked back over her shoulder, however she was not surprised, or impressed or anything of the like. She only smirked that devilish grin she had, "Did I forget? Loki is the one who asked me to speak to you."

"Then he can voice his own wishes, personally. Otherwise I will not believe it." She wasn't an idiot.

Amra just gave her a look, one that said 'you asked for it' before she walked off. Her hips swayed back and forth, showing off those lovely assets. Either by accident or on purpose, it wasn't clear but either way, even by Midgardian standards, she was beautiful.

Ceres sighed and followed. If Loki expressed he did not wish her to be there, then she would go. Even if leaving would break her completely.

They parted ways until that evening, just before dinner Loki came to see Ceres.

She couldn't help but smile a little bit, "Oh, Loki!" She came over to him, "...Amra said you wanted me to leave but I knew that couldn't be true."

"Actually... it is" Loki replied, "I appreciate what you have done, coming here, but I think it would be best for you and Juno to be on your way now."

"W-What?" She froze her heart breaking, "What do you mean? How can you say that? You put all this work into having us come here and then you want us to go?! Amra, she put you up to this didn't she?!" Ceres asked trying to keep it together.

"Ceres please" Loki sighed, "You have helped me immensely, you pieced me back together and I appreciate that but... I need to focus on my duties here now. I messed a lot of things up here before and now I need to set them straight and... to be honest, having you two here is not helping my situation with the Frost Giants. Not just Amra, all of them. The spriglings might love you but the Frost Giants, the only race in true power on this world, do not."
