"I'm not sure... Water pressure is much different down here. Bit harder to control.. Where's Collosus?"

Emma was silent a moment, moving as she searched through the building, "On the far side, it's more stable there, I told him where to go. Just keep that water back-salt water does awful things to my hair."

Ciara raised her eye-brow, "The city of Atlantas has been bombed, there's limited air for us to breathe and YOU'RE FUCKING WORRIED ABOUT YOUR HAIR?!" She boomed, so very tempted to do the complete opposite of her request.

Emma rolled her eyes, "it's called sarcasm darling. It's just how some of us deal."

As they found the stairs and made it down two levels, the last one was already completely flooded with water. There was no way they'd be able to hold their breath long enough to get to the Submarine, even if they knew if it was in tact or not.

Ciara looked at the wall of water she was holding back and then at the stairs leading down to their sub. What would they do? If she went down with Emma then the path would be blocked for Collosus but if they didn't how would they know if the sub was still in tact.

She looked to her left and noticed one of the windows, "Some of the city isn't submerged yet... Who's attacking anyways?"

"It's hard to tell" Emma replied, "there are a lot of panicked minds out there, but just before it hit I think I heard something about the Purifiers-which means we need to get the hell out of here." she looked at Ciara, "they won't leave anyone alive and I can't reach Genosha from here unless someone's using cerebro. We don't have time to wait, we have to go now"

She nodded, "Alright. Let Collosus know we're going to the sub and I'll be back for him." She said starting to move the water out of the way and lead the way.

The purifiers...first mutants now Altlantians? Those monsters.

As they moved along the water pressure increased, making their progress go much more slowly. Finally they made it to the submarine, it looked like it was still in one piece, although it had been thrown about a bit-and the room was completely flooded.

Ciara got Emma inside and hurried off to find Collosus. Though Ciara had no intention of boarding the sub. If it really was the purifiers then all those innocent people would be... They needed to be evacuated and fast. She'd get Collosus on board, and get them to hurry to within range of Genosha to get help.

As Ciara moved through the flooding corridors the pressure only built more and more. There was no way of knowing exactly where Colossus was or if he was even still alive. More of the walls caved in, water forcing itself in, carrying shards of broken glass and debris along with it.

She grit her teeth, hurrying along the corridor only to have the way blocked to the lower lvls. Ciara slipped her earrings off quickly, 'Emma, the way back to the sub is blocked off, move the sub to Colossus position and pick him up. I have a race to save.' She thought as loudly as she could. She didn't slip her earrings back on till she began to hear Emma's voice protesting.

Ciara burst through some glass that lead into several blocks of the city and began moving people out. Going from house to house, informing or helping those to safety.

"There isn't much time, move quickly but don't panic." She instructed a family of 4.

There were ships cruising through the water, submarine types but shorter range and armed with deadly weapons. Namor was in the thick of it, he tore the ships apart piece by piece, one by one, but there was always more coming. They launched attack after attack, missile after missile that shook the earth and destroyed so much and so many. One of the missiles came straight for Ciara as the family hastily swam away.

It happened so fast. The missile broken through the protective force field around the area. Ciara turned to run but as she did she noticed a small child standing there; frozen in fear.

She dove at the child, scooping them up into her arms. Ciara felt her back set a flame and her flesh burn upon impact with the blast from the missile impact. She clung tightly to the child as they both went flying into a wall. Ciara bashed her head against the wall as the both fell to the ground.

"You ok?" She asked. The child's eyes widened and she turned to see the wall collapse onto them... Trapping them both there as the force field gave way.

The fight went on, Atlanteans scattered into the ocean-at least those who were lucky enough to survive did. The Purifiers kept attacking while Namor attempted to desecrate their army. There were just too many, and while they couldn't take him down he couldn't stop them until they decided they were done. Even the guardian beast of Atlantis could only kill so many of the intruders.

The ships finally retreated and Namor made to chase them, until his eyes fell upon his precious city. There was nothing left but rubble, not a single building stood to mark where the city had been. Rage filled his eyes, he called what was left of his army to him, "Search for survivors, take care of the wounded" he ordered, "Take them south of here, to the cold waters and await my return." and with that the King of the Sea took off to pursue the Purifiers and exact his revenge, and the justice of the Sea.

The army spent as much time as they could to looking for survivors. But the sea of dead bodies made the search feel in vein. Blood and debris filled the water. One solider paused noticing in a small crack under his feet there was a faint glow.

The army moved south, carrying the wounded and helping the survivors. They made their way to an old look out. A large underwater mountain which had several underwater caves in it, filled with oxygen.

The bubble wrapping her body popped several mins after being exposed to the air. Many men were rather puzzled by the drown madien who gave out a soft faint pulsing glow. But they felt they could not leave her, after all she'd protected one of their own.

Three days later Namor finally found them, pulling himself up onto the land of the underwater caves. He had actually been injured yet he stood tall with the victory of destroying most of those who had come for his people. The king waved away the medics, walking over to Ciara as he saw her glow. "What is this?" he looked her over with curiosity, the Atlanteans only gazed in wonder.

She was placed on her side, on a bed of plants; her back covered sheets of wet sea weed. The blast had burnt her back and shredded her flimsy clothes. Her upper body wrapped in bandages as they were deeply bruised from the fallen debris and her body covered in a blanket.

One of the medics explained how one of the soldiers had found her, her body wrapped protectively around a small boy. They had thought she was surely dead but the glow her body gave off made them question it. So they'd brought her along and tended to her wounds. She appeared to be alive as her wounds had began to heal but they could not explain how she was still alive.

The little boy who she'd saved was sitting a little ways away. He would come and check on her before returning to his family.

Namor nodded as he listened to the explanations. It was quite a curious tale. He leaned over her, gently brushing some hair from her face, "Princess Ciara?" he called to her, trying to see if she would awaken.

The maiden did not stir.

"We've tried everything to wake her, your highness but she simply won't open her eyes. No reaction what so ever." A medic explained softly.

"Does she still breathe?" Namor questioned.

The medic looked toward a couple others who all looked a little unsure about the question. Of course they were unfamiliar with the human body. "Her chest isn't moving." One of them said.

Namor frowned, thinking carefully a moment and examining Ciara himself. He held his hand in front of her mouth and touched her stomach. Feeling nothing he ordered everyone to stand back while he knelt next to her and pressed his lips against hers, breathing air into Ciara's lungs.

At first nothing happened. The atlanatians looked on, confused and yet curious.

It was by the 5 puff of air that Ciara's arched back as she coughed up the water that had been in her lungs. She pushed away from him and onto her stomach as the water kept coming up. Finally after a moment, she slumped down weak and tired. She looked up at Namour and locked eyes with him before drifting back to sleep; her chest now moving as it should and her skin no longer glowing.

Namor nodded to Ciara and let her sleep. Standing he turned to his subjects, knowing there wasn't much of a way to explain something he didn't even fully understand he merely said, "Sometimes a princess needs the kiss of royalty to wake" he quipped and left the room to go and tend to other things.

It was several weeks later before Ciara fully awoke again. She had been moved further into the mountain; now that they knew she was in fact alive. They had placed her in a crafted room; two caves wall and two others blocked off with a fabric like substance. The ladies would come in and tended to her; force feed her as she struggled to stay awake.

A simple shaped gown had been put on her. Her hair perfectly kept.

She slowly sat up, her body still hurting but nowhere near as badly as before. She nearly jumped when she heard the sound of a tray falling to the cave floor "She's awake. Go let him know right away!" The woman rushed out.

Ciara looked confused but didn't call after her. Instant she continued to look around her surroundings.
