Ciara sat on the couch, starting at the 2 volumes before her. One was titled: Mr. Sin, the other was the one that was to be continued... It was a previous issue which meant that whatever was in this comic if it was truly linked to her life; had already happened.

Mr. Sin... It had to be about Sinister. But what about him? Did it portray when she was little? When she was recovering from that magic ordeal? Or perhaps it had nothing to with her... Perhaps this was someone's sick joke...

She gulped and slowly picked the book up, preparing herself to read it.

"Here, lemme help yo!" Toad hopped over and took the comic, he began to read aloud a piece of Ciara's past, just a few years back with one of the instances with Mr. Sinister. The strange thing was, at the end of it all it had a clip of Mr. Sinister stepping through a portal and looking around. Realizing where he was his body transformed into the appearance of Nate and he went walking into Genosha.

Ciara snatched the comic from Toad's hands, "That can't be right... No.. No. This is... This can't be true!" Ciara ran a hand through her hair, "This is bogus!" She said clearly in denial. "Who's to say this is even 100% true?" She grabbed her bag and stuffed the comics into it. "This s clearly a rouse to confuse us. I'll get to the bottom of this." And with that she stormed out of the house, hopped onto a string ray water form and zoomed off into the sunset sky.

"... what's eating her?" Freddy asked as the brotherhood just sat there.

Ciara slipped her silver earrings on and headed into the mansion. Seemed everyone was still out working. She took a deep breath, 'Just relax. I'm sure that fact can't be true. I mean... This is Nate we're talking about!... Thought he hasn't really talked about himself...at...at all. Come to think of it..' Ciara went into the kitchen and got a glass of water before she'd confront Nate. Her x-squad distress beacon tucked away in her pocket. She paused at the top of the stairs to the lab and pulled out her cellphone.

Miss Frost, are you busy? She texted.

After a few moments Emma responded, As a matter of fact, I am.

Ciara sighed. Of course Miss Frost was busy/ didn't want anything to do with her. She'd made a big impression on King Namour and was actually able to make some leadway with getting Genosha bigger. But Charles wasn't home either and Charles seemed to be fine with Nate...

Ok, nevermind then. She texted back, heading down the stairs.

Nathan was apparently taking a little break with his feet kicked up on the counter and a muffin to munch on his hand whilst he browsed the latest magazine of Scientific Weekly.

She snuck up on him, relieving him of his muffin, "Apparently it wasn't as much of a big deal as Todd lead me to believe." she said hopping onto the counter, munching on her stolen prize.

"Awww my muffin!" Nate protested with a pout, "curses, I shall exact my revenge on you one day!" he proclaimed with a grin as he set the magazine aside, "so what was it about then?"

Ciara chuckled nervously at the revenge part. " Apparently Lance picked up a comic that name a character that looked a lot like me. With information about my life in it as well. Apparently I have a fan club. But it was all common knowledge stuff. Nothing that should have made me freak out. I guess he was just so surprised he just had to show me. The artist made me look like Jessica Rabbit."

Nate looked at her curiously, "Wow! That's quite a compliment to you I'd say." he paused thoughtfully, "either that or creepily stalkerish... hmmm, it's a fine line."

She blushed, rubbing the back of her head "Yeah I know, right? So I can see why Lance wanted to see me. Make sure no freaky fan boy is sneaking around or what not..." She kicked her legs back and forth, "So Nate... How come you never bring up your past or where you were before Genosha? I mean, I don't mean to pry but it just seems... odd."

"Hm" Nate's gaze turned away from Ciara, looking for something else to focus on, "oh, it's not that odd isn't it? I would guess that a lot of mutants don't like to talk about their life before coming here"

"...Well yeah but... You don't talk about anything that isn't current events or science. I mean, do you have parents? A family? what school did you use to go to? Did you live in a village, town, City, or out in the country? I'm just... curious that's all. Even Logan's told me things about his past.."

Looking at her a moment he sighed and leaned back in his chair. Letting his gaze stray to the ceiling as his eyes closed, he reluctantly began to think back, "I've moved around a lot" he replied slowly, "I believe I was born in a small town, I don't quite remember where. I only remember the little houses, the smell of horses and the sound of a ringing bell. To be perfectly honest, I don't know where I spent most of my childhood. Places that I can't find on a map, although I've narrowed it down to either being Brazil or Indonesia. At least those two seem most likely. By the time I learned the shape of the world and it's places I had found myself in Greece but then soon after that I was in India, then Europe, Russia, Mongolia, China and everywhere else. I don't have any family, nor did I have friends before I came here." he breathed deeply and sighed again, sitting up as his eyes opened, actually flaring their mutant red for a brief moment. "ahg" he rubbed his eyes, "Genosha is the only place where I feel I actually have a life. Nothing else matters anymore"

Ciara flinched back when his eyes flashed red. She froze for a moment before calming herself and hugging him, "I'm sorry for questioning you. It was just some silly comic. You could never be such a terrible man..."

Nate blinked, hugging her back uncertainly, "what about the comic?"

Ciara shook her head, setting her bag down and pulling out the comic. "One of them depicted you as Mr. Sinister. That you were in disguise." She showed him the page, "See? But I know it can't be true. Because that man doesn't show kindness like you. Nor did you steal me away from my father in the future and put me through such horrible nightmares..." She said, her back turned to him.

((Yeah that's right she just revealed Mr. Sinister was the one testing on her as a kid))

Nate took the comic, his eyes glued to that last page of Mr. Sinister turning into him and walking to Genosha. He was speechless, he didn't know how to respond.

"I mean, just because the rest of the comic is actual stuff that has come true doesn't mean that one point is actual fact." She said flipping through the magazine that Nate had been looking through. She looked up after a moment of silence, "It's probably that Diablo guy just messing with me...Hey. Are you ok?"

"Hm? wha-yeah" Nate shook his head, closing the comic, "That is just... weird. Ah, sorry. I haven't eaten all day, I think I'm going to grab a bite" he offered a brief smile as he stood to leave.

"Cool. I'll join you." She said hopping off the table. "No one seems to be home, wanna eat out or how about we order in?" She grinned.

"Ah, as much as I'd like to, I'm not really feeling well at the moment." Nate rubbed the back of his head awkwardly, "Sorry Ciara. I just need a moment to myself. Is that alright?"

"Oh yeah. Sure thing..." Was Nate acting... weird? She let him go ahead of her and waited a min before following him. She'd never seen where Nate went when he wasn't in the lab..
