Ciara held fast till the red haired girl went limp. She was alone. She had made it clear she would deal with Oracle herself and meet the little gang at Wayne Enterprises. She lowered the girl's head down to the table and placed a bar of chocolate and a note beside her. She had really been against this whole idea especially the part involving Oracle. But it couldn't be helped. If they took all data, she would know.

"About time, the old base blew up 20 mins ago" G. George chirped as she came around the corner.
"Then we better hurry." She commented, approaching a wall and re-sighting the code. "...And Guests."

"Welcome, Sting Ray."

The door opened and then group of wrong doers went to work. The muscle kept guard as everyone else collected the goods.

Ciara looked up from typing into a computer, "Got the tech?"

"All loaded up. How's the data coming along?" Ruckus asked, leaning over her shoulder.

"Slow. Knowing Batman, he'll try to cut our task short. So I've gotten all the important information on the hard drive and USB." She pulled out the USB and slipped it into her bra. "Now, let's see what other goodies we can get."

Batman left after briefing Young Justice on their mission. He had a few important details to take care of. There was a small blinking light in the vision of his visor-a minor note to look at now that he had the chance. He brought it up, it merely said that Sting Ray had used the Wayne enterprises cave... woah, wait up a minute there.
Batman immediately broke into a run, leaping into the bat-mobile and taking off while sounding off the silent security along the way. Suddenly all the computers in the building would start having technical difficulties and the cave exit would be sealed.

((They used the Cave to get into Wayne Enterprises. She's not using the Cave computer.))

Ciara paused as the computer froze. "Uh-huh. Ok, it's time to go."

"But there's still plenty-" Ruckus started

"Batman is on to us. He'll be here any moment now. Go get our ride" Ruckus nodded, hurrying off. She got under the desk detaching the USB Hard drive from the back of the computer. "We'll have to us the main exit. The Cave will most likely be G. George if you're staring at my ass again so help me I'll..."

"Batman to Oracle" Batman repeated as he tried to reach the girl, but there was no response, "Damnit" he didn't even stop when he reached Wayne Enterprises, he jettisoned from the bat-mobile and let it park itself while he landed at the front doors-just as Ciara and the others were on their way out.
"Going somewhere?" Batman questioned as he stood upright.

Ciara stopped upon seeing him. She tucked the hard drive into her belt and pulled out a small silver case. "Twlight twlight little bat," She pulled a patch out and placed it on her neck. "Now I not longer have to wonder..." She slipped her goggles over her eyes and slipped the half mask over her face, "Where you're at." The walls burst open as water came flowing out of them. A large tidal wave came rushing toward Batman.

'Ruckus, Batman's here. Meet us on the roof.' She ushered the boys through the stairwell and up the stairs. Keeping an eye out for Batman.

Instantly as the water came for him Batman threw a few liquid nitrogen pellets to freeze it before it touch him, giving him enough time to use his grappling hook to get up out of the flow and hurl a few batarangs after Ciara and the crew.

The door closed just as the last batarang hit the door. "Move!" She yelled, flying up the stairs after them. They weren't here to fight. They just needed to make it upstairs.

Batman turned on his infrared vision and started up the buildings intense security measures. Every door closed and locked, not only keeping the innocent employees out of the way but also slowing down Ciara and the boys. Sirens rang off and the police were immediately notified. He didn't like getting them involved, but this was getting serious.
"Stop this, now" Batman's voice came over the system in the stairway as he used his grappling hook to start making his way up to meet them, "We can talk this through Sting Ray. Talk to me."

Slab increased his size and started breaking down the door to the roof.

Ciara looked over the rail, floating in the air, "Talk? You want to talk? What are we a bunch of old women at a Starbucks?" She commented, dropping several little containers cover the edge which caused several explosions, destroying the stairs.

Batman landed on the roof, standing at the ready while Slab broke the door down, "I wanted to give you a chance to explain yourself" he replied simply.

"What's to explain? Nate makes me feel safe. End of story." She pulled out another patch and slapped it on. She gripped her hands into fists and grit her teeth as the rush took her over.

She lipped her lips, 'Ruckus, where are you?'

'Already here. Everyone, jump off the left side of the building. The vehicle is cloaked.'

'You heard him, move.' As they moved back, Ciara moved forward, dropping the weights as she went. Her eyes glowing ever so bright.

'Ummm... Boss? Ciara's not coming toward the plane.'

'hmm... let her do this' Sinister instructed, 'she'll be along shortly...'

"Ciara" Batman spoke carefully. Even though she could feel all the water around her, somehow Batman seemed to be shielding his own blood from her detection, "Mister Sinister is using you. He's gotten into your head and he's making you feel this way. Think about who you are, who you really are. The girl who's risked everything for the people she cares about, the girl who's risked everything for people she never knew. You've saved mutants, saved Genosha, saved Gotham, you've saved me. It doesn't make any sense to betray everything you've spent your life protecting"

A little voice rang in her voice, 'Ciara do this... Ciara do that..' She gripped her hands into fists, gather water all around them.

"Ciara do this, Ciara do that... Want Want want... I've had enough!" She charged at him, getting in close to hand-to-hand combat. Something she usually avoided at all costs. "All you people ever do is take take TAKE! Every time I try to do something all you people do is kept pushing me forward." She blocked his punch, "Never stopping, always going. Gonna keep the people happy. Take, Take take take TAKE!" She punched him square in the gut, moving him back with the force her water cover arm provided.

"BUT WHAT ABOUT ME?! Don't I get anything in return?! No. You all just keep pushing along the rat maze you've put me in. I'm no longer in your maze. Nate understands. He's giving me what I need. What I want. So go AWAY!"

Batman met her attack fairly evenly but she was so angry, so supercharged, it was more than he'd been expecting. He was thrown back to the edge of the roof upon her solid hit and he found himself gasping for a breath as he rolled back to his feet, "Ciara..." he breathed, "Stealing technology? Stealing information? This is for you?" he demanded, "I trusted you not to abuse this level of access. I've always listened. I have always considered your opinion. Am I also to blame for holding you back? Is that why you have betrayed me? Betrayed Oracle?"

Ciara paused a moment, "No, Oracle's fine just sleeping.. That's because..." The gem on her forehead began to glow. She shook her head, "Oh to hell with you!" She pulled out the hard drive and threw it at him before running and jumping off the side of the building onto the cloaked plane.

She slipped into the vehicle as it took off into the night sky.

"Where's the hard drive?" G.G asked.

"Forget about it. We got what we needed." She sat in one of the seat and curled into a ball. 'Nate, I miss you. You were right. He did try to get inside my head. I wanna come home now.'

Batman grabbed the hard drive, watching her disappear and take off. He didn't have much chance in following them so he only watched them go with a frown. After a moment he turned and headed off to check on Oracle.

Scott knocked on the door and entered the sewing room, "Pietro, you down here?"

"Yeah." Pietro replied from the other room. He was sitting backwards in a desk chair, resting his chin on the back of seat, staring blankly at his latest attempt to create something wonderful. It wasn't going well.

Scott pulled up a chair. "Hey Pietro, I know you probably don't want to talk but you need to know what we saw today. That wasn't Ciara. Those weren't her real feelings. He's controlling her. Just like he did when he brainwashed Horatio to abduct her. The same thing happened. He's just using her."

Pietro blinked, "... wait, what?" he turned sharply towards Scott, "Horatio? Jeeze, this has happened before? No duh he's controlling her, it just... caught me off guard, that's all. Whatever. I'm fine, I told you. Everything's fine. It'd be better if I could figure out what to do with this useless room of fabric. The shit just keeps piling in and I have absolutely nothing in my head to make. I sewed two whole bolts of fabric together," he stood, beginning to pace, "I just needed to make something but nothing came to mind and the next thing I know there's an even BIGGER hunk of useless fabric in front of me. And it's not like I even care that much about how she feels about some jerk. It's all some psychological fuck-up right? I mean Sinister's the kind of guy who gets in your head and scrambles it. And I'll be damned if I can decide if I'm going to use red or green on this. One brings out her eyes and the other works well with her skin tone. And then there's the fact that if I even did try to ask Ciara out, like, seriously, and if she wasn't all fucked up in the head at the time, I'd have to deal with the damned Wolverine-the scariest ex that ever lived. I mean what's the point? And WHY WON'T THESE COLOURS MATCH?!" he threw the fabric on the floor.

Scott let him ramble on, "I don't think she's ever had a red dress before... Oh wait. She did have one little red dress. She put it on every day and would run off to the park. Couldn't get her to NOT wear it.... Pietro, you have nothing to worry about as after as I'm aware Logan dumped HER. He doesn't get a say in who gets to hold her. So don't sweat it. I just wanted to make sure you were alright, after all this was your first mission with us. You did good."

Pietro paused for a moment, staring at the judy in front of him before he turned to Scott curiously, "... do you have any pictures of that dress?"

Scott smiled, "Let me go talk to Hank. I'm sure he has one on a hard drive."
