Batman looked back at her, "Fear is not something that should ever hold you back. It strengthens you, it keeps you aware, it keeps you alive. Watch them closely, listen to what they have to say to you. Let your fear open your eyes and ears to everything around you, so that you can see the truth of this place. You might just find that there's nothing here to fear at all."

"You'll stay in contact?" She asked, letting go of his hand.

"You already have my number" he replied simply, "and I have yours, all of them" he smirked a little.

She smiled very faintly, something she hadn't done in a long time. "Okay. I'll be good." She replied, sitting back in the bed and wrapping her arms and legs around a pillow. "...was Oracle ok? Is she mad at me?"

"Oracle's just fine" Batman nodded, "there's a chocolate gift-basket being sent to her now from you"

"Thank you Batman." She softly, "I know you're probably busy. I won't kept you any longer."

Scott looked at Batman puzzled. How on earth?! They had psychics, healers, the whole 9 yards and here was a human doing what all of them couldn't.

Scott held his hand out to Batman, "Thank you. We'll take it from here."

"I'll be back" Batman replied as he left the room, heading straight for the hanger and his bat-plane.

There was a long pause in the room. Scott and Hank both staring at Ciara. Not sure if they should approach or speech from where they stood.

"Stop staring... It's rude." She finally blurred out, shifting uneasy.

Scott turned, "Hank, if you can figure out if that thing can be removed asap, I'll have the cook-coos on stand-by." He said before leaving the room.

Hank sighed and nodded, "I'll work on it Scott" he replied before turning back to Ciara and approaching cautiously, "so... are we okay now?" he asked timidly.

She shrugged, "I dunno. I said some pretty rude things to you..." She shyed back a bit

"I'll forgive you if you forgive me" Beast offered, extending his hand towards her to shake on it.

She gulped and didn't move for a moment. Slowly she uncurled herself and reached out a shaky hand. She pulled away a few times, scared he'd grab her. Hell she was locked in a room with him but that fear was still there.

She closed her eyes and placed her hand on his... It was soft and fluffy. She slowly moved her fingers around before gripping it. "Deal."

He smiled and shook her hand gently before letting go, "Thank you. Now, let us try this anew."

Ciara rubbed her forehead, looking into the mirror Phil had given her. "It's blue."

"We couldn't remove it so we took away it's ability to transmit. He can't get into your mind that way again." He kissed her forehead. She was still a little out of it so she only flinched back an inch. "Try to get some sleep."

"Oh ok..."

Phil started to leave the room.

"Father?" He turned, "Beast asked when I came here if there was someone I wanted to talk to..."

Phil smiled, "I'll see what I can do."

Pietro, as per the usual these days was spending all this time in his little sewing heaven.

Scott knocked and entered, "Quick Silver, I have a mission for you." He said, carrying a reusable bag.

"Huh? Alright, Summers, what is it?" Pietro asked, zipping up to meet him and sitting on the nearby table.

"You are to go to The Healing Hand and visit Ciara. She requested to see you. And while you're there, try to get her to eat. Hank's trying to get her off of the liquid food." He set the bag on the table, it was filled with fresh sushi.

"Uhh..." Pietro looked at the sushi then back at Scott, "seriously? I thought you weren't having much progress in that area? She's not gonna attack me, is she?"

"We weren't... till Batman came and somehow made her start cooperating. It took him 10 mins to convince her to let us help her. And Hank believes she's a lot more stable then when you last saw her."

"... alright" Pietro sighed, looking at the sushi again, "at least you picked the right food... These are egg rolls" he picked up the little box from the bag, "She likes spring rolls, not egg rolls. They're completely different."

Scott rubbed the back of his head, "Is there? I don't really eat this type of food so I just grabbed a bunch at the sushi bar. Good Luck Pietro."

He sighed and rolled his eyes, "I'll grab the right ones on my way. Can't give her any reason to hate me"
