Batman sat on his perch silently listening to the streets, waiting to here the evil cackle that was the Joker's laugh. He'd seen the man walking down the ally, and nowadays it seemed that trouble and evil followed him and his henchmen. Batman repositioned himself.
"When are we gonna pounce?" Robin, Batman's sidekick, asked in a hushed whisper. "Soon, Robin. We need proof, first, though. We can't just tackle him without meaning. That's against the law." Batman answered in the same whisper. There was a loud crash from somewhere behind them. They quickly turned, eager to see what had caused it. Something pink was slowly crawling toward them. "Quick, Robin! Get ready to fight!" Batman said, slowly standing. The thing got closer. A sliver of moonlight shown through the clouds, and he could see who it was.
Just annoying Deliah.
"What are you doing here? We're on a stakeout!" Robin said, walking over to Deliah and balling his fists. "I wanted to help. I figured if anything went down, i could build a force-field around him and we could take him to the cops." she said, hovering over to the ledge. "We have it covered. We don't need you here just to blow our cover." Robin said snidely. There was a bright white light flashing from the alley. Batman and Robin hurried back to the ledge.
Below was the Joker and his henchmen, with huge machine that was flashing lights every colour of the rainbow. It was time to stop arguing and to get to business.

Batgirl was hiding in the alley way near a dumpster...every woman's idea of a great evening of course. Batgirl decided to take on the risk of being much closer to Joker then Batman and Robin. Batman was not happy with her decision but Batgirl did not listen to his reasoning...She always felt like she had something to prove to them...maybe because they had been doing it much longer then she had or maybe because she was a woman and felt that she had to work double to make herself see just as equal as they.
She herd Batman and Robin speaking to each other from her ear piece which they all wore to stay communicated during there "Nights out". She noticed that Joker and his men were approaching with a machine that was shooting oddly enough...what seemed to be all the colors of the rainbow....but like always when concerning the Joker this could not be good.
Batgirl crept behind the shadows looking for weak points analyzing the best way to take them out fast and efficiently of course without killing anyone. The moment she saw the perfect chance she would begin to take down Joker's men.

Deliah and Robin continued bickering, until the lights stopped. Deliah nudged Batman. "Let's pounce, B! This is our chance!" Deliah said rather loudly. Before any sign of approval from Batman or Robin, she jumped from the ledge and built a pink force-field over the Joker and his men. "I bet you weren't expecting that, were you, funny-man?!" she said, trying hard to come up with a smart catch-phrase but failing badly. The Joker seemed shocked as he floated above the ground surrounded by Deliah's big pink bubble. His men began hitting the walls of it, looking for an opening but finding none. Robin was the next to jump from the roof. "Batman! C'mere! Let's figure out this machine before they get outta that thing." he said, running over to the blinking contraption. He pulled a lever, which shot out a bright red infa-ray into the sky. Soon, there was a huge red Bat Signal in the sky. "Why, it's a Bat Signal generator, so he can lure you over to his place and kill you, Batman!" Deliah said before Robin could get two words out. Batman hopped down from the ledge and walked over to the ray, all the while looking at the huge red bat in the otherwise clear night sky.

Batgirl noticed Deliah as she was about to throw a bat-a-rang at one of Joker's henchmen. She placed it back in her utility belt and moved her away to stand next to batman. " What is she doing here?" She asked him with a hint of annoyance. Why is it that every time we have to try to capture a major villain she happens to appear out of nowhere . From what Batgirl could remember which is not much since she only has been fighting crime for about a year now is that the last couple of months Deliah had been popping up and being a distraction for the whole team which sometimes affected their performance. That was not the only distraction in Barbara Gordon's life and batman played a huge roll in it. Barbara has had strong feelings for Bruce Wayne since she learned about the fact that he is Batman. The fact that he lost his parents and helps people saving them from the clutches of men like the Joker who have no love or respect for human life.

The joker and his men continued to throw punches at the forcefield. "Hurry up, guys! I can't hold them forever! My arms are turning into spagetti strings!" Deliah said, the bubble fading slightly. Batman pulled the lever back down, causing the signal to go away. Robin grabbed Batman's arm. "We gotta get the cops here, ASAP." he said, letting go and facing Batgirl. "Guess this was a false alarm. Thanks for your help anyways." he said quietly as the police arrived. Deliah's arms began shaking, she was almost about to drop the villians!
