"Everything Happens For A Reason"

Starfire is tired of waiting on Robin who is obsessed with finding and killing Slade or at least taking him down. So while all this happens, a battle forms and Robin is going all out to kill him with his bare hands. Will Starfire step in to help an injured enemy? Or Will stand by and let him die? The Titans are fighting against Slade, he was said to be gone after Raven defeated her father, but, he never did know when to stay down or retire. He returns and this time he is looking for a new apprentice but the Titans won't hear of it. Raven uses her powers to catch Cyborg and Beastboy who was thrown off guard towards Raven. Robin pulled out a sword, more of a katana, and started attack Slade with it throwing him off guard.

Starfire was getting tired of Robin obsession with Slade. He payed more attention to how to kill Slade than seeing what he had right infront of him. She knew this would never end thats why she had moved on to someone else. And that person was Slade himself. But no one else in the team knew about it. She had kept this to herself for sometime as she just hovers over them not doing anything cause she really didn't want to fight against Slade anymore unlike the others.

(*sneaks in* shh I'm not here but i am half asleep :ninja:)

Raven watched as Robin was able to get Slade with the sword, wounding him on his chest, and making him stumble backwards. Though Slade was a quick thinker and grabbed the blade of the sword at that moment and tossing the sword right at Cyborg who luckily dodged it at the last moment. Raven was tired of this fight "Let's get this over with, Azmerath, Matrion, Zinthos" she said as she sent her power out binding him in something like a straight jacket. Though he kept struggling to get free, Cyborg aimed his canon at him, Beastboy was ready to change and charge again.

"You're each as useless as the next, the girl who destroyed the world and saved it can't even get her emotions in check, the shifter who can only change into useless animals and charge at random, the robot who isn't fully human or bot, and the stupid leader who thinks he can win" Slade said, hatred in his voice, he had forgotten about Starfire, but, at that time he stood up and kicked a pole he was next to which turned everything into a blinding light making Raven let go of her powers. Once it cleared, Slade was gone, he escaped into an ally way and was able to stay hidden.

Starfire's eyes widen seeing Slade being wounded she wanted right then and there to stop the fight and help him but didn't. It would just cause to much trouble and then her secret would be out. She would cover her eyes when the blinding light happen but she was surpised that Slade didn't say anything about her. Not sure why thought but then she probbly didn't have any kind of problems that she could think of like the others. She wouldn't say anything about it to the others.

Starfire lands on the ground before moving over to the others. "He escaped again..." says. But back in her mind she was worried about that wound in Slade's chest. She sighs deeply looking over at the others "I'm going to go back to the tower..the fight is over with. Time to get some rest, Robin." looking over at them.

"Not until I find him, he couldn't have gotten far" though Starfire wasn't the only one who had gotten tired of Robin's antics. Raven used her powers knocking him out and then said "I am just going to make sure he rests and take him home, we can eat in tonight" Raven had stayed up alot lately keeping an eye on Robin, she used to like him, before Slade entered their lives and then it was all about him. Raven flew off with Robin and Beastboy with Cyborg talked along the way walking back pretty quickly just wanting to get out of there "Okay Star, we'll see you back at the tower" Beastboy yawned. Slade made sure the titan's were gone and moved slowly towards the caves, that was where he was staying at, and no one really knew about it. Terra had forgotten and it had been so long ago.

Starfire was glad Raven did that cause she wanted to slap the heck out of Robin. She follows the others but stops cause something was bothering her more. Starfire looks around alittle bit "Maybe he didn't get to far...the others won't miss me much.." says to herself. She looks back making sure the titans was out of view before she turns and heads back to see if she could find where Slade was hiding.

Slade was moving slowly to his headquarters, but, the problem was it was half way across the city still and he didn't have much strength to get all the way there. Stopping to take a break after a short while, Slade leaned against the dirty, brick wall and slid down to sit, while looking at the gash that Robin had made. The boy was going to pay, that was for sure, but, right now...he peels back the opening of his shirt where the cloth was ripped and bloodied up. It was over his heart and luckily only half an inch deep, less than that wide, but, a couple inches long. That would most likely scar and he covered it back up keeping his hand placed on it trying to ignore the pain. He stood up and kept moving, all was silent and going well until he bumped into a metal trash can making noise in the all way just near the canyons.

Starfire had almost gave up on trying to find Slade until she look down seeing a few drops of blood on the ground. She stops taking an look around as he should be here. It wouldn't be that far from where she was while she starts following the few drops of blood on the ground. She almost nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard the noise. Walking was taking so long so she takes to the air and flies toward where the sound was. Of course she wasn't sure what Slade would do if she got here but she didn't care to much about her safely at the moment. She saw something moving and being it was dark it was hard to tell but she was sure it was Slade. Starfire would head down and lands near where Slade was. "If you keep moving like that you will bleed even more.."

Slade hadn't heard the tamarainian girl until she had spoken about moving. Slade stands up enough to grab her by the throat thinking she was here to capture or mock him. "Why are you here child" Slade demanded to know as he waited for her to answer. Night was all around them, shadows and noises, Slade had no time dealing with other useless beings and he still had to get patched up. "Answer me" Slade demanded again.

Starfire watches him while she moves forward but stops. Feeling Slade's hand around her throat as she reaches up struggling alittle bit. She gulps alittle bit when she looks at him. "Calm down...I was worried..about you. I came to help." blushes deeply while she says looking away for a second. She looks down toward where his wound was before she looks up at him. "I'm here to help. And yes that does sound strange but no one else knows where I am. They are more into taking care of Robin at the moment." shruggles to try to pull herself free. "If you let me go I can patch up your wound."

Slade didn't have much strength at the moment and it didn't sound like she was lying. Slade lets her go once she starts to struggle "I don't need your help..." Slade spoke until he could feel the cool air against his cut, that shot pain throughout him, he was so going to kill Robin for this. Slade stopped for a moment after turning around to leave. "Just go back to the baby titans, they need you more anyways" Slade added and kept on walking.

Starfire sighs deeply knowing she wasn't lieing about what she said. She would pouts alittle at what he said and she was stuborn. "No I'm not going to go back not until I see you are ok..." blinks as she stops. Her commutator comes on and Beastboy would say "Hey Starfire...where are you? I thought you would be back?" Starfire looks over at Slade before she turns around and grabs it from her hip "Oh yes its just taking alittle bit longer to get the pizzas. I will be back in thirty minutes." ANd then Beastboy would say "Oh ok..don't forget to get cheese pizzas." "Alright see you guys later." and Starfire turns off hers which probbly would be bad think to do but she didn't what them to find her if she didn't get back like she said. She felt bad lieing to Beastboy or the others.

Slade kept on walking, he wasn't about to let an alien princess help him, that was not good for someone's pride. "You seem to be busy, you might want to go get their food before they come to find you" Slade said and disappeared into the shadows. He still had some time to walk, but, his chest was becoming numb, which to him was a good thing, it meant he would be able to move faster, just not too fast.

Starfire looks over to see if she could stop him before but he was already gone. She had decided to see him later maybe but knew it was hard. Since Slade tends to change his hideout everytime Robin finds him now. But until then she needed to get back to the tower before the others come out to search for her. She would go to the pizza place and orders the pizzas then return to the tower "Hey everyone..Sorry that I am late I bought the pizzas." Starfire walks in once the doors open for her and closes behind in the living room.

Robin was still asleep luckily, they had him on the couch so they could keep an eye on him. Raven was drinking her herbal tea, Cyborg was relaxing changing channels and turned around to see Starfire "It's been almost an hour Starfire, where've you been?" Cyborg asked knowing it doesn't take an hour to make pizzas unless they do not have them ready at first. Beastboy was right next to him, playing a game boy.

Slade almost wished he would've asked for help from Starfire as he gets back to the cave after another hour and sits in his chair in front of the large computers he had to keep an eye on tings and the titans. He patched himself up, no the best way, he just cleaned up the wound and put a bandage over it. He didn't bother changing clothes, he just waited in the seat, watching if the titans left or not. Though it wasn't too much later that he fell asleep in the chair from all that he did.

Starfire walks over and sets it on the table before she looks over at Cyborg. "Sorry about that...it was hard to choose between the pizza with the strange fishes or the pizza that they call pineapple. So I got one with both toppings."laughs while she opens the one that had her toppings she picked out and takes a bite of it. "But don't worry I got ya'll kind to." She looks over seeing Robin was still asleep and sighs deeply before looking over at the others.

"Well what do you guys want to do after dinner?" Cyborg asked, noticing Starfire wasn't eating like she normally was. The girl had seven stomachs and was only eating a slice of pizza. But, Cyborg thought this was because of Robin
"Don't worry about Robin, once Slade is gone for good, everything will go back to the way it was before he came along" of course even Cyborg wasn't smart enough to take note that she didn't like Robin anymore. Raven looked over at Starfire "How's about we grab some pizza and go hang out...in your room" Raven didn't like bright colors, but, this was Starfire, her opposite pretty much.

Starfire wasn't that hungry any way as so much was playing over with her mind and her emotions. She didn't imaged what could happen if Slade was gone knowing her emotions was kinda growing for him. The princess looks over at Cyborg almost giving him an glare but she didn't. "No...everything won't go back like it was." mumbles to herself before looking over at Raven and shakes her head "No not tonight...I don't feel like hanging out..I'm just going to go to bed..night." turns around and walks out of the living room and heads to her room.

Raven questions silently to herself, what was wrong with Starfire, this wasn't like her. It was extremely rare if she didn't want to hang out or do anything. Cyborg heard her, however, didn't have the time to respond to her because Raven's question was being answered. Beastboy was too busy chowing down on pizza to care to notice about Starfire. Cyborg stood up and went to follow Starfire, he heard her go into her room, walking over to it he knocked "Star, is everything alright?" Cyborg asked, his voice more concerned for his friend.

Starfire gets change for bed before she heard Cyborg at her door. She sighs deeply wishing she was just been left alone. "Yes I am fine. I just trying to get some rest." says. She would sound fine but deep down she wasn't. But she wanted to make sure Cyborg didn't know that. "I mean we need to get our rest for the next time we met Slade. He will be ready for us next time we try to take him out." says loud enough that Cyborg could hear. Starfire pulls the covers back and climbs into bed and sighs deeply staring down before looking out of the window at the lighted up city.

Cyborg reluctantly walks away from her door and back to the others telling them what she had said about they needed to get some rest soon too for their next encounter with Slade. Raven didn't care, she knew he wouldn't be taken down, and right now it seemed like he was going to be dying. "Alright, let's get some sleep" Cyborg spoke, though he wasn't tired at all either, just like Beastboy who was complaining. Raven sighed "I'll make some chamomile and lavender tea, it will help with relaxing" Raven spoke as she got up preparing the kettle water, a little bit later she handed out the cups. Beastboy barely got halfway through before he fell asleep. Raven shook her head laughing silently to herself, and Cyborg finished his making his way to his room. Raven wasn't yet tired, it was only 11:33pm, but, she should go to bed. Raven ignored her craving to meditate again today, she put Robin in his room and used her powers to do the same with Beastboy and his room. She walked past Starfire's room just wondering if she went to sleep or not.

Starfire listens to make sure everyone was gone to bed. She got herself redressed and heads to the door. She pokes her head out of the door and look around to make sure no one was around. Starfire couldn't sleep cause it was still bothering her about Slade. She tip toes out of her room lucky the floor doesn't make any sound and would leave the titan tower. Starfire would head into the city or anywhere to see if she could find Slade's hideout. She left her commutatorin her room so that way no one would track her or try to talk to her if they did find out she sneeked out of her room.
