(Just FYI this takes place before any of them are married or have kids and if you choose to be Harry Teddy Tonks is five.)

Draco watches the one he loves from the shadows of Diagon Alley. He cursed the fact that they were with that Weasley. Though, deep down he knows it's his own fault, for never saying anything when he had the chance. With a sigh he goes to move away. His once pristine robes, are rather ragged now and his hair reaches past his shoulders.

Dick Grayson:

"Malfoy?" Ginny, the red head weasley spoke running up to Malfoy. Ginny didn't care of things in the past anymore, Hermione might have, but, not Ginny. Ginny was here because Harry wouldn't talk to Malfoy. Harry had been keeping to himself lately and even ignored Ginny from time to time. "Is that you Malfoy?"

"Hey Ginny." Draco says. He would be polite. It wasn't her fault that he wasn't with Harry. It was his own. "How have you been?" What he really wants to know is how Harry has been. He keeps reminding himself over and over to be polite.

"I'm alright, but, I could be better" Ginny answered adding in "Hey, could I ask you a favor please?" Ginny asked being nice and really hoped he would say yes to what she would ask. Though she wouldn't ask it until he would say yes or not, she didn't want to be pushy; she wasn't Hermione.

"Sure. Go ahead." He says wondering what he could do for her.

"Well, Harry has been down ever since the battle has ended and no one can get him to talk. I was wondering if you would talk to him for us?" Ginny spoke adding "He'll talk to you" Ginny looked at him, her eyes wishing he would say yes to this, though if the two did talk they would need someplace where they wouldn't be disturbed. One of the hogsmeade rooms would be private enough, nothing to happen, just talk or such.

(Remember tehy are in diagon alley)

"You honestly think he'd talk to me? I'm probably the last person he'd ever want to talk to." He whispers. He sees the disappointment in her eyes. "I'll try. Is he here with you?"

(I was thinking Harry and Teddy had gone to get ice cream.)

"Yes, well, he went to get ice cream with Teddy, come on, we can probably still catch up to them" Ginny beamed smiling linking her arm with Malfoy's to lead the way. She didn't hate him, nor did she like him, but, she didn't want things to seem bad with someone she barely knew. Even though they went to school together.

Harry was trying to decide on the ice cream while he asked "What are you getting?" to Teddy (who was teddy again?)

"Rainbow sherbet." Teddy says grinning.

(Ah okay, For some reason I didn't remember that name)

Harry smiled a little nodding, it was a good choice "Vanilla cookie dough, I think I'll get" Harry spoke as he looked at his choices, Ginny came into the store where Harry and Teddy were at. "Hey guys, look who I found" Ginny smiled knowing her plan was going to work now. Harry asked "Who?" while turning around, when he saw Draco, he went speachless. His voice caught in his throat, he couldn't think of anything to say, even though he tried.

Draco just gulps upon seeing Harry. "Hey P... Harry." He had started to say Potter, but some how that just didn't seem right. "Uncle Harry whose that?" Teddy asks tugging on his robe.

"Huh? Oh" Harry snapped out of his little shock moment "This is Draco Malfoy, he's uh..." Harry spoke until Ginny said "He's an old friend of your uncle's. Hey Teddy, why don't we get some ice cream and take a seat?" Ginny went up to the counter "Which did you want Teddy?" Ginny ordered Chocolate and mint ice cream. "What are you doing here, Draco?" Harry asked not sounding rude, just curious, the boys always hated eachother in the past. Well actually, Harry kept a dark secret that no one knew about him, and about who he liked. Though Ginny found out before when Harry was sleep talking. Draco looked different, longer hair, less snobbyish, and so much...more...Harry never realized just how good looking Draco was.

"Rainbow sherbert." He says to Ginny.

"I ran into Ginny. She insisted I come talk to you." He says. His heart flutters being this near to Harry. He was good looking. "How are you?" He asks.

"Rainbow Shebert and Chocolate & Mint Ice Cream Please" Ginny said to the ice cream seller and waited as they got the ice cream on the tray to head over to their seats. The ice cream was in old fashioned, glass cup with a spoon sticking out of it. Ginny lead Teddy over to a booth to take a seat.

Harry realized Ginny must've said something about his sleep talking. It always happened even before meeting Draco at Hogwarts and they became enemies. "I'm alright, would you want some ice cream? My treat" Harry stated figuring they could sit down on the opposite side of the shop and Harry wanted to know what all Ginny had said to Draco. Normally Draco didn't talk to him, let alone call him by his first name.

"Sure." He says with a small smile. "So how have you been?" He asks as they head to the counter. He keeps silently reminding himself to be civil. He wanted to make a good impression on Harry.

"Alright" Harry answered asking "What do you want for ice cream?" Harry waited for the answer and then would tell the counter person what they would want. After that they would find a booth far away from Ginny and Teddy to talk in privacy. Once they sit down, Harry asks Draco "How have you been after all this time?"

"Could be better." He says eating his plain vanilla ice cream. "I've lost everything. The ministry took almost all of my parents assets, the mansion." He says not looking up. He really didn't like talking about what had happened to him, but he also doesn't want to keep anything from Harry.

Harry looked down eating his cookie dough vanilla ice cream, it seemed they both chose something with vanilla. Though Draco didn't lose everything, not in Harry's eyes, though he was being positive right now. "You haven't lost everything Draco" Harry whispered, almost mumbled where it was hard to hear. "Do you want me to help get back your things? I'm sure by now the Ministry wouldn't refuse a request from the famous 'boy who lived' " Harry added, rolling his eyes at the last part. Harry would do it for me, maybe not others, but, he helped out Luna and even others who asked for it. But, he never suggested he would help someone. Not since Dumbledore died, well passed away is a nicer way to say it.

"Thanks for the offer, but it's alright. I have some money, just not as much as I used to." He says with a smile. "Besides it would be lonely in that mansion all by myself. He finishes his ice cream. It was good. He had always been fond of vanilla. "So what have you been doing since after the war?" He asks. He really was curious.

"Just trying to move past everything and thinking of becoming a teacher at Hogwarts" he hadn't worked on that theory just yet, he was trying to move on with how everything happened. Draco and Harry didn't become friends even though Harry wanted them to. Draco didn't kill Dumbledore, Severus Snape did, and the dark lord was gone, but, so many had died.

George hadn't been the same since and Ginny was there to try and cheer him up most of the time. Hermione and Ron had falling outs so much that Hermione started looking at other boys, even called up Krum and started going out with him. Ron started going with Pansy, no one knows why or how, but, it was working. "Any ideas on what you are going to do?"

"What would you teach?" He asks. He had lost track of everybody from his school days. "I work here and there doing odd jobs." He says. He hadn't really thought about any long plans. What most people didn't know was that he suffered from depression.

"I was thinking about the Dark Arts class or flying class" Harry excelled in both of those and knew he could do them well. "I don't think I could surpass as a potions teacher" Harry did fine in potions, but, it wasn't his favorite nor his best. Hermione would make a great teacher, but, she was trying to get a magic university set up for others to be able to go to. Harry ate more of his ice cream, he had gotten a cone because they tasted better than the scoops. Harry licked his cone, not really thinking of how it would look around others. "What all did Ginny tell you?"

"You would be great at either of those She told me that you've been a bit down since the end of the battle and nobody can get you to talk to them." He says. He really did enjoy being here like this with Harry.

Harry didn't like telling people about why he wasn't happy anymore since the battle ended. Everyone expected everyone else to be happy about the turn of events. Harry sighed in relief, it wasn't anything embarrassing that she told him. "Draco, do you think we could've been friends? Before this whole war ended?" harry wondered if they would've been the same or what since then.

"Yeah, I do." He says. He knows if it hadn't been for his parents, and what was expected of him he would have tried being friends with Harry.
