The Hunger Games Continue (Vamp and Elerra)
 

After Katniss and Peeta trick the empire into submission to letting both of them win the games they become stricker and the 13th district has reemerged. The games have become more brutal and the weapons allowed in them more destructive to ensure no ties from here on out. For some this is worse, and for some this is better, what will happen in everyday life for the doistricts now?

Bio: His district just returning, it is tough for him but he manages and fights to ensure that as many as possible are fed in his district, he might be a little skinny, but he is a very good hunter and better with a bow.

Skills: Tracking, survival and swordplay.
Bio: Don't let her cute looks get you. Dawn is a strong fighter and good tracker with a blade. Ever since things had changed back to the way they was and people had to do whatever they can to feed their familes. Dawn is no different from the others as she struggles just to put food into her people like many others.

Angel had just gotten back from a hunting trip to get food for his family and his heighbors, he didn't trade them for the food he gathered and hunted, he liked to help those in need as much as he could, so he went home with the amount he usaully broght to his family after giving some that they wouldn't need to a couple of the neighbers. He did make sure to check if he had hide his bow and arrows, and crossbow and bolts where he always did in his mental check list that he chcked everytime he came back.This was the time for the hunger games after the two from district 12 froced the mpires hand. and tomarrow he would be in the center of his district to see if he was unlucky enough to get picked for the first year that district 13 had to send tributes to the games, they had heard that the empire had the facilities st for two more tributes to have their seperate space from the other tributes and all that stuff.

It was hard to get food for her family and friends. She only wish it was the way it was before but things never seem to last long. Dawn knew that too now she just hope she would be picked. But most her parents wish she would be picked. They still didn't like the idea sending children to fight each other in the Hunger Games in order for them to get food. The world had change since that day and everyone just had to fight to surived even thought they had to send children to fight. Dawn didn't mind if she was a tribute for the next Hunger Games and tomarrow she would find out if she did get picked. But until then she had to make sure she was ready. Dawn brushes some of her hair out of her face alittle and sighs deeply walking out of her room as her parents was busy making food that she had brought home. But it wasn't much so she had to do without..she didn't have much luck day so hoping she could go and find more later. "I'm going out to see if I can find more food..for later" says plus it did help her in her training to pratice her tracking alittle. She walked out quickly before her mom told her to eat something. She didn't want cause her mom was pregnant so she wanted her mom to have more food. Plus she could always find something along the way if she was really hungry.

Angel sat in his little room below the stairs to the upstairs of his house. He didn't like being in the way so he styaed out of the way in his room. He kept his blanket door open so that his family felt wecomd to talk to him if they wanted to, he had two sisters and his dad was killed in the rebelion before he was born by a lot.

Dawn walk around the streets as it had changed back to the way it was. She hated the empire for the change and knew this time was going to be hard for this years tribute. It probbly will have alots more traps than the last one from what she heard. Knowing about the field mines being set off on the other tributes from the last games. So she supposed there will be different kinds of traps this time. But the only people who knew about the new layout for the arena was the empire. Dawn had alot on her mind about it.

He had noticed the sky darken quite a bit and he decided to grab a quick bite of what was left of dinner for him by his family and went to bed.

Later returning home after another hunt for her family. At lease she knew her mom would be taking care by the neighbors if she was picked. But until then she needed her rest after eatting little bit of food. Dawn says night to her mom and heads to her room and goes to bed. She sighs deeply closing her eyes before she opens looking out of the window as she lays down on the mat which was for her bed. Thinking about who else would be picked from this district tomarrow. Before she rolls over and falls asleep.

In the morning he got up and got into his best outfit. He knew from the empire sending the outfit required for these pickings what to wear. His two sisters wore there best dresses and they hugged him when they saw him. They all knew that this day could only mean bad news. "It'll be alright." he assured them. He had found them both a stone for luck, and he gave them one each. "For luck, as long as I know that you will have some luck I'm happy." he said always looking out for his sisters no matter what. "Thank you big brother." they said. He than gave his mom a hug knowing that this was tougher on her then them, she wouldn't know which of her children she'd possiby never see again. He couldn't help but wonder what poor children were going to be picked for these brutal games.

Dawn looks at herself in her mirror at the new clothes. She sighs deeply as she could admit she was nervous just alittle bit. It was probbly the same for other kids especial the younger ones who turn twelve. Coming out of her room already her mom was crying "Mom please you going to make yourself sick..." says walking over to her. She hugs her it was hard for her mom since dad had died last year of cancer. So she could understand why mom was upset. Every year she didn't know if Dawn would be picked or not for the Hunger games. "I know sweety I'm sorry..its just its hard...but here you need this..it was your fathers." her mom reaches into her pocket and hands a locket charm to Dawn. "He said it was always lucky for him..cause he had us..I put both mine and your father's picture so you can have us with you." Dawn looks at her mom and sighs deeply as she takes it. "Thanks...anyway its time for me to go..." says. She heads out as she puts the locket on and place it under her shirt. As she just had a feeling this was the year she would be picked.

To add to his anxiety he worried that his girlfriend would be picked, he didn't want to lose her, he couldn't live with that, well he could just not ever the same, they had been together for awhile now and things were going good for them. He walked his sisters to the center of the district to get all that they needed to get done done. He hoped that he would see his girlfriend before the pickings. And as if his wish was being granted she showed up and grabbed hold of his hand. He smiled feeling comfort. "Hey Trish." he said in an atempted cheery tone. "Hey." she said back. THey got there and were signd in and grouped up. He shoke with worry as he watched his sisters and girlfriend get brought to the girls section as he was brought to the boys section by the peace keepers.

Dawn watches the other tributes looking around alittle before she heads toward the female side. There was alot from this district and she knew most of them was in a relationship. But she didn't have a boyfriend as she had broken up with hers cause he was cheating on her. But there was one guy she did had a crush on but he had a girlfriend. Dawn watches the guy being move from his girlfriend and sisters to go to the boy side as the girls come over this side. She could tell they was worried cause only two that would be picked out of the whole district to join the other district tributes. Once everyone was there it would began as the president would start his speech. Dawn rolls her eyes as she hated hearing this speech over and over. It was almost the same speech every time.

((i think you might have mixed up the district number for my charater but not completely sure you might want to reread that, but it could happen in more then one district i'm sure.))

He listened to the speech for the first time and was already sick of it half way through, his heart gave a jump when it was anounced that it was time to pick the tributes. The girl tribute was first and he could hear his heart going in fast in his ear as his pulse sped up. He could have fainted because his worst fear had come true the girl tribute was his girlfriend Trish. He wanted to do so much, but he did the only logical thing. After she was up he voluntered as the boy tribute before that was left to chance. and he wouldn't leave his girlfriend to deal with this alone. When he got up there Trish clung to him telling him he didn't need to, but he knew what he was doing. "I want to be with you in this. he said quietly. He was surprized no peace keepers seperated them maybe the empire had some heart after all... for now. They were led to seperate fancy rooms for their loved ons to say goodbye. He saw his mother and sisters, both sisters gave him the stones he had given them for luck. "If you have both you'll have double the luck right? they asked making him chuckle. "I sure hope so." he said smiling at them. "Take care of mom, you guys know what to do, and mom, I will come back to you guys, I will do my best to get back here and die of a natural cause years after this." he said. They hugged and he was led outafter they left. He wanted to see his girlfriend to make sure she was alright.

(Yea I did I thought about once I post and was coming back on to edit the post. But I see you already post so yea...I haven't felt good all day..cramps...girl thing..*sighs*)

Dawn watches the first girl being called and so on. She felt her hands shake once her name was being called out. Her mom knew this was the saddness thing to see her daughter head into the games. She heads toward the room where her mother was only wish her father was here. Walking in her mom rushes over and pulls her into a hug "You be safe out there, Dawn." Safe was a over statement. There was no safe in the Hunger Games...either you come out alive or dead. It was just one thing her mom didn't understand since she never was picked to play in the games when she was younger. "Mom I will be fine..don't worry I know what I am doing..you just need to relax..beside you need to go home and rest." looking up at her.

(btw what district is Trish from anyway? so that way I might now if I have to change where my character is from so that way there wouldn't be two girls from the same district.)

((It happens, I've even experienced cramps just not the same reason, she is from district 13 with angel))

Finally he and his girlfriend were put onto a train and being cruel or whatever the empire ((really capitol)) put them into the same room with two seperate beds. He hugged his girlfriend to him and she cried on his shoulder. "Why did you offer yourself up like that, your sisters and mother need you." she said. "I know they'll be fine without me." he said. "I know how bad these games tend to be and I wanted to be by your side, hey maybe we'll be able to do what last years victors did." he said hopefully. She smiled and stopped crying. "Your right I'm just worrying too much about this like I always have when it comes to the games." she said, she smiled. "I'm glad that I'll have you by my side." They sat on one of the beds and she cuddled up to him and they waited for the train to start.

"Why did I get put in the same room with my ex?" Dawn says as she glares over at Kain who was also choose for the 12th district tribute. And Kain was also her ex who she broke up because he had the nerve to cheat on her. So there was no love there she had for him but Kain wanted to get back with her. So for him he thought it was luck that they picked him. Kain walks over trying to grab her hand but Dawn pulls back. "Don't touch me..I don't know why the empire had to put us in the same room." Kain shrugged moving over to his side of the room. "Thats just the empire toying with us. Its something new that they are doing this time.. But come on Dawn we have to talk." She walks over to the window of the train and stares out "There is nothing to talk about...beside I don't even care of you are killed. So it doesn't bother me much." If this train don't go she would kill him even before the games start. Soon she felt the train slowly start to move as she looks at the district as they slowly pull away.

Just then Angel felt the train slowly start moving away from the district. They had the longest ride so they would get there last.

Dawn yawns alittle moving over to her bed and pulls the covers back. "If you do anything to me while I am asleep you may not survive even before the games start. I'm going to take a nap." says. She wanted to get some rest anyway and plus she didn't want to see Kain's face. Kain would blink alittle and sighs deeply leaning back "You know it wasn't my fault it was Haley who came onto me." then he got a pillow hit in his face from Dawn. "I said I didn't want to hear about it..." yelling at him. She turns on her side having her back towards him before she felt asleep. As the nap would make the trip to the empire go alittle faster.

Trish yawned and giggled. "It would seem I need a nap, would you want to join me for one?" she asked him, they had taken naps together before, though strangely enough never did anything past make out. He smiled. "Sure that sounds good." he said laying down, she moved so she was more comfortable and laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes, she fell asleep knowing that not only would he soon fall asleep with her but he also woldn't try anything, he hasen't yet, and actually let her set the pace at which they went. And sure enough a couple minuts later he fell asleep. He thought he could hear a voice on the train that sounded like the one that called the names for the tributes before he fell asleep.

Dawn would wake up as she had a hard time sleeping really. She rolls over and sits up looking over at Kain's bed seeing he was asleep. Before she got up out of bed and moves over to the window staring out. Already she saw the tall bright building and knew that was the empire building. The train was faster getting there than she thought. Dawn turns around and walks over Kain's bed "Hey wake up..we are nearly there." but of course Kain was the hardest person she ever met to get wake up. She glares as she grabs the sheets and pulls hard causing Kain to fall out of bed. "Huh...what?" then looks up at Dawn. "Finally get your butt up we are almost there...geez you better not fall asleep during the games in the wildness..you will be killed in your sleep." rolls her eyes. She moves over and puts on her shoes.

Angel woke up and he figured they had at least half an hour of travel time left, he stayed in the bed, and watched Trish sleep. He wondered what he'd do if the seemingly impossible happened and he lost her in the games, what would he do? Break down crying, or kill all the other tributes with rage.

Once the train had stop both her and Kain would be taking and head toward the stylists. It was common for all tributes once they had arrived they would get a makeover and new clothes to make them more appealing for the viewers who watches the game. The female stylists work on Dawn while the male stylists work on Kain. The hair stylists change her hair just abit by cutting it little bit before putting in a few smal braids around in. Then they had her changed into more new clothes. Black pants that would be easy to move in that had two big pockets on both sides of the legs. The a shirt that was a red tank top as they also put a few arm bands on her arms. The male stylists had spiked Kain's hair and put him in different clothes as well with black pants, white shirt with and leather jacket.

They train arrived and he gently woke trish and she smiled at him. "I'm glad to at least wake up in yor arms." she said seeing they were at the empire city. They got up and she fixed her hair and they were led to their stylists to get changed. His hair was left the way it was, the stylists liked his style there. He was put into a pair of plack leather pants and a toxic green shirt with a pendent of the toxic sign, Trish was put into a toxic green dress with black shoulders and waist and the sam pendent, her hair was put into a bun with small braids coming out from it, her having such long blonde hair.
