"So far," Ezio replied as he sat next to her. "It seems a little... unreal."

"I'm glad," Iris replied. She cuddled close to him. "Maybe we should go upstairs to my room, it's more comfortable there."

Anna snorted. "Yeah, now you know how I felt when I got dropped in your time." That didn't stop her from moving up against his side.

Altair nodded after a moment and mostly released her, keeping hold of her hand. "Lead the way," he said quietly. Since he hadn't yet learned the layout of this house.

Ezio put an arm around Anna gently and pulled her close.

"You are the expert here, now," he said. "So I will follow your lead."

Iris nodded and led Alistair upstairs to her room, turning on the electric paper lantern that hung in the middle of the room. A string of smaller ones lit up across the ceiling as well.

"Make yourself comfortable," she said softly. She went to sit down on her bed.

Anna smiled a little. "For now, just relax. We're safe here, and we can figure things out tomorrow." She looked at him after a few moments, grinning.

"Oh, and before I forget, I have new ink."

Altair nodded after a moment and silently divested himself of a few layers, as well as his shoes and his weapons, since he saw that she didn't have any on her. Besides, he knew where they were in case he needed them.

Only once he was sure he didn't have any more sharp objects did he go to join her on the bed.

Ezio raised an eyebrow.

"Really, now?" he asked, interested. He grinned. "When do I get to find it?"

Iris cuddled close to Altair when he joined her.

"Before I forget... The year now is 2012. You came all the way forward, rather than meeting us in the middle, this time," she said softly. "And I got a new tattoo a few days ago."

Anna grinned. "Whenever you'd like," she said easily. "Good luck." She leaned back on her hands, smirking.

Altair blinked. And then he smirked faintly. "Did you?" he asked quietly, looking her over. "And where did you put this new tattoo?"

Ezio smirked a bit and leaned in to kiss her.

"And if I want to find it now?" he teased.

Iris grinned a bit.

"I'm sure you'll find it," she said to Altair. "Just be gentle when you do, it still hurts when it gets touched."

Anna grinned and kissed him again. "Like I said, good luck." She waited to see what he'd do, just watching him for the moment.

Altair smirked. "I will keep that in mind," he murmured, leaning forward to kiss her.

Ezio looked at her for a moment, and then grinned and set to work making up for lost time and looking for her new tattoo.

Iris returned the kiss, and then sat back to see what he planned on doing.

Altair was quick to start searching for her new tattoo, although he started with her first one. And moved from there.

A while later, quiet reigned over the house again. Ezio held Anna close to him, relaxing there.

"I found it," he teased her softly.

Iris ended up snuggled close to Altair, laying her head on his chest. Even as she snuggled in, one hand ended up brushing her stomach gently.

Anna laughed quietly. "I guess I'll just have to hide my next one better," she said with a grin, moving closer to him.

Altair pulled her closer, keeping one arm around her possessively. Now that he was back with her he wasn't going to let her go. He'd make sure he stayed with her. Because the few weeks apart had made him realize that he liked her more than anyone else he'd known.

Ezio grinned and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close.

"I'm not going to let you get away from me again, la mia dolce," he said to her.

Iris just snuggled closer to Altair. She was going to make sure she stayed with him, this time. She wasn't going to let him go again, especially not with the baby to consider as well.

"Are you sure you're okay with a child?" she asked him softly. Yes, she was still insecure about that. It was sudden and unexpected and not at all conductive to the plans of finding the rest of the Order.

Anna hummed at that, quite content. "Well you're not going anywhere either," she reminded him gently. "Besides, it's not like it was my idea. That freaking Apple is a terror."

Altair nodded. "Yes. I'm sure." He smiled a little and rested his forehead against hers. "Although you sound like you have your doubts at the moment."

"I agree completely," Ezio replied. He put a kiss on her forehead. "Although, just this once, I suppose it can be forgiven, since it brought me back to you."

"I'm just... scared, I guess," Iris replied softly. "It's all new to me, and I don't know if I'll be a good mother. And I don't want this child to come into the world unwanted."

"But only this once." Anna huffed and shifted her weight again. "Dammit I'm not used to cuddling anymore."

Altair shook his head. "No mother knows if she will be a good mother," he said quietly. "But the worry is good. And our child is not unwanted."

"I can help you with that," Ezio replied with a grin, pulling her over so they fit together easier.

Iris smiled a bit and rested her head on his chest.

"Thank you," she murmured. "That helps."

Anna laughed quietly. "You're going to be completely incorrigible now aren't you?" Not that she minded, not in the least. But it was fun to tease him.

Altair smiled, just a little, and held her tighter without a word. Fortunately they still had time to make some adjustments before the baby came.

"Would you have me any other way?" Ezio asked in reply.

Iris sighed softly and relaxed, drifting off to sleep against him. It was late, she was exhausted, and she knew she was safe with him.

"Nope." Anna grinned and relaxed there, staying close to him. "But you know you're never going to live that down."

Altair stayed awake all night. He wasn't in the habit of sleeping every night anyway, and he was reluctant to go to sleep that night anyway.

"If it means getting to hold you every night, I think I can endure," Ezio replied with a bit of a grin.

"Oh don't worry, you'll still get to do that too." Anna grinned and settled in there with a brief yawn.

"Good," Ezio replied. He gave her a small kiss. "Now go to sleep, la mia dolce. It's late, and I know you like your sleep."

"Damn straight I do," Anna muttered, snuggling in and getting comfortable there. "You better not vanish, or I'll have to go back to your era and drag you back, you know."

"I am not going anywhere," Ezio assured her, letting her get comfortable. Once she was settled, he relaxed with her.
