His eyes went wide. "Foooood?!" He looked around for it.

"It's in the picnic basket..." He laughed softly.

He raided the basket and picked up a sausage, shoving half of it in his mouth and letting the other end hang out, trying to get Germany to eat the other side.

Ludwig laughed and took a bite of the sausage Italy had in his mouth

Italy chewed the rest of it up and swallowed. "Mmm. That good."

He laughed softly. "I'm glad you enjoy it..."

He nodded. "Mmmm..." He ate a piece of cheese and then snuggled him.

Ludwig put an am around Feliciano happily.

He looked out on the waterfall. "So how did you even find this place?" He asked curiously.

"I was roaming around one day and leaned against the cliff just to fall back.." He chuckled at the memory. "it was a fluke really"

Italy giggled. "That explains why I never saw it. I'm to lazy to go running."

He laughed. "That's fine" he kissed the side of Italy's forehead. "It just means this is gonna be a surprise"

Italy grinned. "Since when was it ok for me to be lazy?" He asked and then just shook his head with a smile. "It's a wonderful surprise."

"I'm really glad you enjoy it..." He kissed Italy softly. "We can come here whenever you want, alright?"

"That would be nice. It's so calm here, and it takes away all the bad stuff, at least for a few moments."

"Then, at any moment, any at all, we can come here. That way you can be happy." He held Italy close to himself.

Italy slid himself onto Germany's lap and kissed him. "I am happy here with you."

"Then, I'm glad.." He eskimo kissed the Italian, happy to be by his side.

Italy settled in Ludwig's lap and closed his eyes. "Ludwig. Let's run away. Let's run away from the war and everyone and live alone. Just you and me." He knew that was an impossible request, but he could still wish.

"I wish I could give you that wish Feliciano... I truly wish I could.." He rested his forehead against Italy's shoulder. "This war is just too much to handle now..."

"I just wish we could all get along. This is stupid to be fighting like cats and dogs."

"I know it is.. But it's so hard to get everyone to get along... With tension from the past and the current tension... It seems impossible..." he sighed heavily

"You and me and Prussia and Japan...we get along.." He said with a frown. He still couldn't understand. "Stupid allys." He muttered.

"We just have different views... One day though, I am sure we can all get along.."

"Maybe. I hope so anyway." He said softly, thinking.
