"How do you get so messy while cooking?" he got a paper towel and wiped the batter from his face and hands. "Better?"

"I don't know how I got in such a mess." He got some on Germany's nose and then laughed. He licked it off and then smiled.

He laughed "I really wanna know how though... You seriously get so messy..."

"I don't know." He shrugged. "I don't try to make a mess.. It just happens."

"Well, it's adorable." He threw the paper towel away. "there's some in your curl, but..."

He blushed. "You think it's cute? Really?" He paused at what Germany said next. "On..my curl?" He looked at his batter covered hands. If he tried he'd just get even more on his hair. "C-Could you...?" He paused. "Ehhh. .its gonna be hard to wash out if I wait for it to get all sticky."

"Um, I suppose I can..." he got another paper towel and gently tried to clean the goopy batter out without tugging his hair

Italy's eyes closed and he bit down hard on his lower lip. "Unn..." He groaned a little and tried to keep his breathing normal. "N-No...stop...that makes me...feel t-to good..." He was gripping the spatula in his hand tightly, trying his hardest to be normal.

Germany stopped what he was doing. "Oh, I'm sorry Italy, I didn't mean to..." he was afraid he was hurting the Italian, or worse

Italy fell against Germany, his face flushed. "Dear god." He hissed. "You have no idea what that did to me."

"I'm sorry Italy..." He hugged the smaller nation. "I won't do it again... I promise."

Italy didn't want to admit it, but he actually wanted Germany to do it again. "I-It didn't hurt...it felt good." He frowned. "A weird kind of good.."

Germany was confused over how Italy was reacting. Good weird? That made no sense... "I see...?"

He knew he was confusing Germany. "It makes me tingly...and makes me want to touch you." Henwasnt sure that was a good way to put it, but he didn't know how else to put it.

It clicked in Germany's head what was going on. "I get it now..."

Italy blinked an looked up at him. "You do?"

Germany nodded. "yeah, I do." He patted Italy's head

Italy went back to the pancakes. "I know it's silly...but I can't help it.." He was putting the batter into the griddle.

"It's fine Italy. It's rather cute." He leaned over and kissed Italy's cheek. "Very, very cute."

He loved how Ludwig could always make him feel good about himself even when in reality he was a weak loser. Germany was such a strong country, and a lot of people respected him. That had always made Italy jealous, but now it made him proud because he could say that Germany, that proud, strong country, was his boyfriend. "You really think I'm cute?" He closed his eyes and smiled. "I think you're really handsome."

"You are the cutest ever. No one can compare." He smiled and hugged the country from behind so he could focus on the pancakes.

Italy pet the hands that held him from behind and then went to take the pancakes out. They were done cooking and he put them on plates. He removed his apron and washed his hands before working to get the rest of the batter from his hair. Pleased when his curl was clean again, Italy removed Germany's apron. "Wr can eat now." He said and went to the table

"Alright then." He walked to the table with Italy with a smile on his face

Italy grabbed a fork, but couldn't find his appetite. He was so lovesick that it made him not even really want to eat his food. He took a small bite and then looked back at Germany.

Germany was confused. "You aren't eating like yourself..." He took a bite of his own pancakes. "Are you feeling sick?""
