Ludwig shook his head. "Hell no! It's this little freeloaders turn to make us breakfast and.." he was cut off by a strange strangled sound. "Ludwig...SHUT THE FUCK UP!" He screamed and got in his car, pulling out of the parking space before Raven could even get in the car, speeding off at speeds that had to be illegal. Ludwig's jaw nearly hit the ground. "What in all of hell...he said you were just a...friend...ugh...idiot..." He facepalmed. He couldn't believe Gilbert hadn't told his new friend. "He didn't even have the curtsy to tell you did he...bastard, always playing people." Ludwig seemed pretty angry.

Raven felt hurt that he left her here, but turned her face into one of stone, ice covering her heart back up. "Didn't tell me what?" She looked at Germany. "That he isn't a nation? Right?"

He frowned. "Not just that. He's not ready for anything more than a one night stand. He does this all of the damned time and he always messes up." Ludwig couldn't believe this was happening. "I can't let him mess you up too. I'd advise staying away from him until he decides one girl is enough for him.

Prussia screamed as his German temper flared up, making his pale skin turn bright red. He started crying after that and called Vixan, only to get Arthur. "Ello?" He covered his mouth to keep any sounds from coming out. "Hello Arthur. May I speak to Vix?" Arthur paused. "Um. Who is this?" He asked, not recognizing the voice. "It's Prussia..." He sighed. "Vixan's asleep Gilbert. Can I take a message?" Gilbert hung up, even more angry and hurt and pissed off. "Idiot brother.." He growled and suddenly hit a telephone pole. The crash scared the living hell out of him, but he got out unscathed. The crash only suceeded in making even more upset, an he stood on the side of the road, thumb up. It was awful dark, and he couldn't even find his cell in the mess that used to be a car. Suddenly he saw headlights, and the next thing he saw was the face of some man. "Hey. He's awake!" The guy yelled and Prussja groaned, hearing blaring sirens. He couldn't place where he was, and the it hit him. He was in an ambulance.

"Maybe I don't want to stay away from him!" She got in her car and drove off, angry that she couldn't fall back all the way on her reserved state. She tried to call Vixan but the line was busy. "dammit!" She drove around, looking for any sign of Gilbert when, almost two hours later, she found the mangled mess on a telephone pole that she saw to be the same model and color car he had drove off in. "God no..." She pulled off on the side of the road and got out, inspecting the vehicle, breathing a sigh of relief to see he wasn't in there, but sharply inhaling when she saw blood a distance away. "Hospital... nearest hospital...." She thought for a moment and got in her car, driving off to the closest hospital.

Gilbert blacked back out again and was put in a room, hooked up to oxygen. He wasn't doing so well, and his upset state of mind wasn't helping his recovery.

Arthur thought about the call he'd gotten and woke Vixan. "Vix..Gilbert called. I think he was crying.."

Vixan looked to him, the words immediately waking her completely. "Oh shit." She called Gilbert's cell, only to get the voice mail. "It's turned off... Maybe Raven..." She dialed her sniper. "Raven! it's Vixan." She cut the phone on speaker so Arthur could hear.

"Mrs. Vixan! Gil drove off without me and was in an accident!" She sounded clearly panicked. "Ludwig got mad and then Gil got mad and.."

Vixan's face dropped. She had never heard Raven this way, and worse, her brother was in an accident! "Raven! Calm down, breath, remember your training." She stood up, taking the phone off speaker. "Arthur, I'll be back in a minute." She kissed the man and walked out of the room. "Do you know if he was taken to a hospital?"

"I-I don't know... I'm fifteen minutes from the nearest, which is where you're at... C-can you check, please? I'm worried..."

"Of course. Breath." She went to the desk and asked about Gilbert Beilschmidt.

The lady checked and frowned. "Yes. It appears he's in ICU. I can't give you a room number and I'm pretty sure no visitors will be allowed for a good while." She smiled all while saying this, looking like some kind of freaky Barbie doll.

Prussia freaked as he woke and doctors were all around him. He felt throbbing pain in his hair and his legs felt like they were on fire. His eyes went all wide and glassy. "Lemme goooo!!!!!" He screamed in a slurred tone, flashbacks of bloody wars and imprisonments clouding his reasoning. All he saw was scalpels and other sharp objects. He jumped up from the table, pure adrenaline aiding him as he ran through the hospital, red eyes wide and bloodshot. He went right out the lobby and past Vixan, screaming about how they'd never take him alive.

"Raven. I'll call you back." She hung the phone up and chased after her brother. "Bruder!!" She hoped speaking in German may help him calm down. "Ruhe! Bitte!!" She managed to catch him and wrapped her arms around him. "Brother, please, calm down..."

Raven's eye twitched and she drove as fast as she legally could to the hospital, arriving in no time flat. She ran inside, ignoring the calls of hospital personnel and ran to the floor ICU was on.

Gilbert started to sputter and cough. "Damn it! They're after me girl! Let go!" He screeched, then started to cough again, blood covering Vixan as it came from his mouth and ran down his face, his hair stained a faded red. A doctor ran out and shot him with a tranquilizer. "Idiot. His lung is collapsed. How could he even move?" He shook his head and took Prussia back up for surgery.

"Doctor! He's been through rough things! He still has nightmares about being a captive!" Vixan yelled as they took him off. She didn't even care about the blood.

"Vixan!" Raven ran up to her. "What happened to Gil... And what the hell happened to you?!"

"Come with me Raven." The two girls walked back into Arthur's room.

Doctors were bustling around the now unconscious Gilbert, not even noticing the girls as they cut open Gilbert's chest cavity, trying to save him. "Doctor...we're going to have to remove his left lung.." A woman said, worry crossing her face. "He's kind of weak, do you think he'll live with one lung?" The doctor sighed. "We'll have to try and see." They started to remove the organ, more blood running down Gilbert's body. They threw it out in a bag, still trying their hardest to save a life.

Raven sat there, listening as Vixan explained everything that she knew that happened as she washed the blood off herself. "Excuse me, Mrs. Vixan..." Raven walked from the room and walked down the hall, slipping into the hall of operating rooms and finding the operating room Gilbert was in. The doctors were working feverishly over the Prussian, and she could see it wasn't going well. Against her better urges, she stayed, sitting by the door and listening to the doctors.

Ludwig got a call from the hospital and arrived as quickly as he could, followed by a rather worried Feliciano who ran in after him. The two men made there way up, and he saw Raven there, tears running down his own cheeks. "Where is he?" He demanded, knowing this was all his fault. When he looked in the room and saw the mangled mess, he broke. "O mein Gott...I was so hard on him.."

Raven glared at the man. "Gehen Sie weg.(Go away)" She said, voice filled with spite. It was all his fault Prussia was like this, and she wasn't going to let it go. She would let it be a poison to him until Prussia told her to stop, which she could tell, might not ever happen. She looked into the room again, it not helping her spirits at all.

Ludwig wanted to hit her. "You go away! He's my brother! He lives with me. You're just one of his girlfriends. He loves me way more than you." He growled. "I wouldn't be surprised if a few more of his girls come in later."

"You're the one who got him into this mess!" She glared at him. "And I don't care if another girl shows up. I'm his friend. That's all that matters." She shoved the German rather forcefully against the wall and walked out of the room, returning to Arthur's room. "Vixan... What room will Gil be in... if he gets out of surgery?"

"The lady wouldn't tell me, but I'll ask again." She stood and walked out of the room, returning to the desk. "I'm Gilbert Beilschmidt's sister, Vixan Vladimir Kirkland." She showed her international ID, that showed she was also a nation. "I need to know what room he'll be in when he is out of surgery."

Ludwig glared. "How do you know he even considers you that? I'm his brother. His very own. I take care of him and help him out. I feed and clothe him. That's more than you'll ever do."

The lady gave her a number and then sighed. "But he'll only be able to take family." She said. "Actually, you should he able to visit now."

Ludwig followed as Gilbert was taken to another room. He went in and looked over his adopted sibling's broken body. He felt aweful. "I was all you needed kleine Spatz." He whispered and kissed the other's lips, knowing that since he wast awake, no one would ever have to know what he'd just done or why he for so annoyed when Prussia found a girlfriend.

Vixan walked in the room that Gilbert was taken in. "Germany... Why are you being such an ass to Raven? She really like a Gil... and Gil seems to like her..." She frowned, seeing her brother's state. "Why did you intervene during their date?"

Ludwig felt hate that radiated off of him in waves, kind of like when Russia got in a mood. "I love my brother Vixan..I mean, I really love him. He doesn't need her. He has me."

"That's not being fair to Gilbert's feelings. He might actually love Raven, and you need to let him do as he pleases. He may not be a country, but he's still a person, with his own emotions and actions..." She moved to Gilbert's bedside, opposite the side of Ludwig. "And what about poor Feliciano? He loves you, and you treat him like nothing."

Ludwig sighed, glad it was just him and Vixan. (Feli was waiting outside.) "No, Vixan...I love him...I mean..love him love him. The way you love Arthur. He is my little sparrow.." He seemed so melancholy, blue eyes filled with pain and agony. "And now he may be gone forever." He whispered. "And I couldn't ever tell him...because I was so afraid..."

"given recent events, it didn't seem like you showed you cared for him at all. Raven told me everything that happened at the theater..." she frowned at the dried blood on her German brother. "yelling at him, threatening to kick him out... That doesn't show love... You need to have respect.." she got a dampened washcloth and wiped the blood away carefully. "and compassion... You can't for it like France tried, and you can't ruin their life." she rinsed the cloth. "if it is supposed to happen, it will happen."

Ludwig laid his head in his hands. "I know..I know I've been a dock and this is all of my fault. I've seen what women do to Mhm though. They always tear him apart, but he always finds another one. I was so mad..I didn't mean to get so mad..." He felt horrible. "My temper is just so high." He was stroking Gilbert's hair. "I won't try to make him love me...I won't even tell him how I feel. That's what would be best. I just...I want him to let me take care I him...I would've never kicked him out and you know that. I threaten all the time, and he knows I'm bluffing." the large German man was very distraught. He heard a soft sound and then saw Gilbert was stirring. He saw Germany first. "Ludwig!" He cried and tried to get up to hug his brother. Ludwig freaked. "G-Gilbert! Lay down, rest please...you're hurt very badly..in so sorry Prussia." a smirk lit up Prussia's face. "Chill west. That was awesome. I got hit by a car and in totally not paralyzed. Told ya I was awesome." He turned and saw Vixan. "Well hey there sexy. Why aren't you with your hubby? You should go sex him up so I don't think you're worrying over me. And Ludwig, come in bro. Go get you some Italian stallion. I'm sure Italy's lonely at this hour. Don't worry about me ok?" Ludwig shook his head. "No. I don't need Feliciano in that way. I would rather stay and watch you."

Vixan chose that she would drop te topic now that Gilbert was awake. "I refuse to 'sex him up' in a hospital. I was waiting for you to wake so I could ask if you wanted to see Raven... She's been worried sick..."

Gilbert frowned. "she knows everything." He said, choking slightly. Ludwig looked all flustered again. "She didn't care Gilbert...she doesn't care about all of the bad stuff.." The Prussian could still see that his brother was remarkably upset, and didn't understand why. "Does that mean you approve?" He asked. Ludwig pet his hair a little. "No. I'll never approve, but since when did you let anyone else control you?" Gilbert just sighed. "Ludwig..go see Art for me." He watched the man leave. "Alright Vix. What the hell is his issue. And don't say you don't know. I have the right to know what's going on."
