Tan admired the other dragon in in his robe. Aadi was a very good looking dragon. "Black is very much your color."

He offered the storm dragon his arm and pulled back the curtain. The hallway was dimmly lit and hazy with incense. "The shop is closed today so I won't have any problems showing you around." He lead Aadi down the long hall careful to go slow enough for his new friend. Well, at least he hoped Aadi was his new friend. The fire dragon hadn't realized how lonely he actually was until he and the storm dragon had really started talking last night.

The older dragon was intelligent and interesting. Tan was more than willing to for a bond of companionship with the other dragon. "So most of these rooms," he gestured to the curtains, "are where the more cold blooded creatures reside. But these are just rooms, let me show you where we have fun." Tan pulled open a large ornate door. There were large bronze eastern dragons swirling over the doors their large clawed hands the door handles. Inside was a was a huge grassy field, with a fores to the left and a large lake to the right. There was a gentle scented breeze flowing over the grass. "So this is where we can run around stretch our wings and such."

Aadi smiled as they walked together. This was just nice, they could talk, remember the world as it was and still feel safe. At the compliment he blushed fingering the robe slowly.
"Thank you" he murmured and looked the dragon over, he really couldn't just say the other dragon looked really good in anything so he ended up just being quiet.
"Why is the shop closed?" he asked as they passed many doors. He was curious what other creatures were living in such a large shop. Of course he could feel the magic that was stretching the store so it could be as large as needed on the inside but on the outside it might be a mere apartment.

When they got to the doors he chuckled some.
"We were always a fascination of the humans when it came to their carvings and paintings" he murmured as they walked in. When his senses were filled with fresh clean air and he saw where he was he just stopped for a minute.
"It is gorgeous" he murmured as he moved about. He looked at the sky longingly and let a hand come up, and in that clean blue sky came a lightening bolt straight to his hand like a pet.
"Oh I have missed such things filling my senses" he whispered and looked to Tan.
"This is just perfect do you come here often?" he asked as he walked to the other dragon. Smiling a bit he noted how he was smaller than this dragon. Though there was only a 500 years difference Aadi had hoped that he would manage some height on this younger dragon.

Tan smiled looking out over the grass. "It is isn't it? I love to come out here. There are mermaids, kappa and a few other sea creatures in the water there. D keeps most of the more violent creatures in their own habitats...both for their safety and the safety of others." He scratched the back of his neck lightly and stretched to his full 5'10" height. Tan couldn't help but notice how much smaller than him his companion was, He must be built for speed.

"Come on. Let me introduce you two a few people." Tan too Aadi's hand threading their fingers together. They walked slowly through the tall grass letting it tickle their legs and tails. Out of nowhere came a mighty roar from above. Tan placed a hand over his forehead to look up against the sun. The fire dragon returned the roar. Soon a large long dragon could be seen wriggling in the sky heading down towards the pair.

With a large whump a gigantic silver and green eastern dragon landed. Tan squeezed Aadi's hand, and waved to the other dragon. "Hi Mimi!" The dragon suddenly shrank, turning into an eastern young woman with green hair and dressed in a modern J-pop outfit. She squealed and raced over to the pair. Tan turned to Aadi. "Aadi this is Mimiko Usamina, Goddess of the Nakdong River in Korea. Mimi this is Aadi God of Storms."

The young dragon smiled brightly waving at the pair like a small girl. "HI!! D said he saved a dragon. I am so excited to meet you!" She bounced up and down in place.

Aadi smiled a little bit as the wove their fingers together. It made him feel warm and fuzzy inside as he tried to think of the last time he was able to be with someone in such a nice way. Tan really was a wonderful dragon, and he was such a good friend already. Looking about he was so happy with where he was. As they walked his tail swung back and forth showing his pleasure at his new surroundings. He was eagerly awaiting meeting up with all those creatures also taking refuge here in count D's home.

Then suddenly a dragon was flying down. Grinning he nodded to her
"It is a pleasure to meet you" he told her with a smile. She was so adorable in a childish way. Shaking his head some he looked at Tan.
"He is my doctor it seems for the time. I am unsure what I will be doing for a while as he wants me to take it easy" he teased him now as he looked the new dragon over. He wondered just how many dragons were in this home of D's. Sighing a bit he sat down in the long grass and began to bend it and enjoy the feel of it against his skin.
"Sit, we can talk and sit. That way Tan does not get overly medical on me" he laughed now, his laugh sounding like light rain.

Tan laughed lightly at the little dragon's antic's Mimi was so very excitable. He slipped into the grass, the stalks bending under his body. His tail curled over his legs and around his torso. He smiled at Aadi. "Glad that you decided to listen and rest a bit.

She smiled up at them. "Good, yep listen to tan! I am glad Tan's taking care of you. He's a good doctor! The best!" She danced around the two of them as Tan sat next to Aadi enjoying the warm sun.

The green dragon looked up at Mimi, the little dragon still dancing. He turned to Aadi, "You'd never believe she's older than us, would ya?" Mimi twirled her dress out a few more times then plopped down with a sigh. Tan tickled her lightly, "did you finally tucker yourself out Mimi-chan?"

She blew a rassberry at him and pulled out of Tan's. "Nope. I'm being polite and making conversation, silly!" Mimi giggled looking at Aadi. "So how did you get so sick?"

Aadi watched the female dragon just dance around full of energy and wondered where she got it all the time. Looking at Tan he gave him a sweet smile.
"Tan is a very good doctor indeed" he agreed as the woman was beginning to make him dizzy and a bit restless he laid down in the grass and closed his eye just feeling the world around him with all his other senses.This was what he missed about the real world. There were no places like this. Where humans had not touched it in soe way or form. The only places one found this in was at the top of mountains and lets be honest that was rather cold.

Reaching out he found Tan's hand and squeezed it before bringing it to his face where he leaned his cheek against the back of his hand.
"Thank you, this already makes me feel so much better Tan" he told him softly as the fir dragon finally settled own enough to sit down with them.

Sitting up he smiled a tad
"Pollution, the cities are all having issues with it. THe world has changed it is all industry now, nothing more" he sighed with a shake of his head.
"So much to harm the world so little to help it. In the air this is a lot of pollution and it clung to me, I could not get rid of it till I was so sick" he answered him with a small smile. He ran his fingers through his hair now as he leaned against Tan.
"Tan is bringing me back from the dead fairly quickly though" he told her with a grin.

Tan blushed when Aadi took his hand and pressed the back of it against his face. It was such a sweet intimate gesture. He smiled at the other dragon and didn't pull his hand away. He listened quietly to Aadi talk about the modern world. Closing his eyes Tan leaned back into the grass. "It is horrible. I remember the first time modern man landed on my island...my people forgot me, after all I had done for them."

He shook his head looking up into the sky. "I had given up on everything when D found me. Brought he here gave me purpose again. Now I can heal and help...It's much better." He watch Mimi chase a butterfly. He turned to his companion. "We all have stories like that. You want to meet a few more people?"

Aadi looked at the dragon chasing a butterfly and nodded when he heard that they all had stories like that.
"The world is changing, soon the humans will have killed it and it will be time for mother earth to be restored by the few that have survived" he murmured as he looked at Tan with a smile. Rolling to his side he moved closer to the dragon
"I am ready to meet anyone you want me to" he told him with a grin. His tail swishing against the grass. This was all so great for him, he felt healthier here, like this was where he always wanted to be. Reaching out he touched the others forehead with two fingers, it was often a thing done with dragons you were close to.
"I wish to hear some of your tales though, later. I know you ere forgotten by the humans but I am sure you also have joyous memories. We should remember them and work towards gaining new ones" he told his new friend.

Aadi was really enjoying all this, he was so impressed with what Count D was managing to do here. He did wonder about the pet thing, for didn't he hear that this was a store? What was D selling? How did it work? Were there humans out there he could trust?
