Francis slipped his hand into Arthur's, not wanting to release him entirely. It seemed too perfect for him to have his love back
Arthur gripped the hand tightly, almost afraid this would end if he didn't hold on well enough. "Do you want to come back to my place."
Francis nodded. "of course, mon cher. I'm not ready to leave your company."
Tht made Arthur smile. "Very well. Let us go then." He lead Francis out to a limo.
Francis followed and got in after Arthur. "Arthur, what happened to you? I looked everywhere for you.."
Arthur shivered. "I was stuck with my kidnappers for a few months. They tortured me and tried selling me on the black market..I managed to get away and lived on the street, taking on odd jobs. I managed to put myself through school, and now here I am."
Francis frowned and held the man to him. "I'm so sorry... I don't meant to keep prying... but what do you mean by odd jobs?"
Arthur kissed Francis' hand. "Not those kind of jobs my love. I was a butler for a period of time, I worked on cars and such for a while...stuff like that."
"Oh..." he let out a breath of relief that he didn't realize he was holding. "Sorry for even thinking that..."
"I could see why you would think that. I've saved myself though." He said it kind of softly.
"I see." He pet the boy's head softly. "I never forgot you, Arthur... I never felt for someone the way I felt for you..."
Arthur stayed there. "I haven't felt this way since....I can't even remember the last time. I gues the last time I felt this way was all those years ago when you and I were together."
"I'm glad you and I are back together... I was so relieved to see you were alive though... Even if you had forgotten me..."
He frowned. "Oh, Francis. You thought they killed me didn't you...I'm so sorry..." He pet the man's head.
"I was afraid they'd have killed you..." He sighed. "But, you're alive and well, that's all that matters"
"Mmm. And I'm glad I'm alive and well. You've given me a renewed desire to live."
"I have?" He smiled softly and kissed his cheek. "I'm glad mon cher."
They arrived at Arthur's own rather large mansion in England an he helped Francis from the car. "It's amazing what kind of money one can obtain by being a politician." He said softly.
"I know..." He laughed. "It's quite amazing how much one is payed.."
Arthur invited Francis in and hoped he liked Arthur's rather odd sense of style. There was a lot of glass, shiny and fancy to the eyes. The chandelier produced a dull, romantic, soft, light. The walls were a deep shade of bloody red. It was mostly gothic styled, 1800s English in design. "Do make yourself at home."
Francis looked around at the decor. "This is rather interesting." He smiled. "I like it."
Arthur smiled. "I'm glad. I thought it suited me."
"It really does..." He looked at the Britain. "I'm sorry for the other day... For just so suddenly bringing up Alfred..."
Arthur put a finger over Francis' lips. "Shhh. Shush baby. It's ok, I'm glad you gave him a good funeral. My baby brother deserves that."
Francis nodded. "That he did..."
