This is a Private RP between Bellinda: and myself. Feel free to read along, but please, do not post. We shall beat you with fish if you do. :feesh:

Anyways... I shall be Draco Malfoy, and Bellinda will be playing Harry. This is set during 6th year, shortly after Harry broke up with Ginny, 'for her own safety'- partially true, mostly a cover for the fact Harry realized he fancies wizards more than witches... One wizard, actually. A certain blonde sixth year slytherin pureblood.

Where this story goes, only time will tell.

It hasn't been that long since sixth year at Hogwarts had started. And already there was signs that Harry was already distance himself away from his girlfriend Ginny. But no one never expected what would come between the two. Harry told Ginny out to their usual hang out spot they always go. Harry fixes his robe while looking around. Hearing foot steps Ginny walks out of the school door and heads to Harry "Hey Harry...why do you want to me to meet up here? We will be late for class.." Harry sighs deeply knowing this was going to be very hard but he had to do it. "Wait Ginny lets not go just yet..I need to talk to you.." say moving over to her. "You know there trouble around here right...and I don't want to see you get hurt because of me." looks at her "I'm breaking up with you for your protection...I'm sorry." says. Ginny stands there with total shock on her face as Harry walks away. "Harry!..wait!....please don't leave me!.. Harry!" as she begans to cry but Harry ignores her and heads back inside.

Draco was on his way to class, his usual group of fellow slytherins chattering around him. He passed Harry in the hall, and didn't give the teen's presence a second thought, until he saw the Weasley girl enter behind him, crying. He smirked a little. "What's the matter, Weaslette? Not even Potter wants you anymore?" He asked, earning a chuckle from his friends as they passed the ginger. They split up at the stairs, Draco and Blaise heading for Transfiguration while Pansy and the others went to other classes.

Ginny glares at Draco as she had every mind casting a spell on him but didn't. She heads off to class while Harry heads off to his class which was the same class where Draco was. Harry sighs deeply walking into the Transfiguration class and heads to his seat. He looks around before he looks over at Draco. There was another reason why he broke up with Ginny. He had a new interest and now all he had to do is wait for the right time. Of course today wasn't the right time yet since he had to give it a few days before he make a move.

Draco looked over, feeling eyes on him. He gave Potter a look as if to say, 'What the hell are you looking at?', then turned back to talking with Blaise until Professor McGonagall entered the room. "Alright class, I have a new seating arrangement for you... You'll be seeing similar changes in your other classes tomorrow, as well. The headmaster has decided that it's high time for this silly house rivalry to end, and the other staff members and I all agree." The announcement was met with many complaints and groans, though Minerva silenced them quickly, and started assigning their new arrangements, mixing students from different houses- namely pairing Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs with Ravenclaws and Slytherins, as she already knew they could work well enough together. By the end of it, Blaise and Seamus had been paired off, along with Draco and Harry.

"Professor, is this really necessary? I'll willingly work with any other student than Potter." Draco said, trying his hardest to get out of working with the Boy Who Lived.

"That, Mr. Malfoy, is the exact reason I put the two of you together. And you best get used to it, because I'm certain that your other teachers will do the same.

(I figured there'd be few enough 6th years taking transfiguration that I could get away with putting all of them together.)

Harry leans back in his seat once after he looked away from Draco. He writes something on his parchment when Professor McGonagall came in and said she was changing the seating arrangements. He wonder who he would be place and wasn't to surpise he gets Draco. But it was apparently Draco wasn't to please to sit beside him. "Oh come on Draco we need to stop this stupid quarl we have between us. If you would just give me a change." says looking at Draco. He didn't mind this was great as it did put it a step further towards admiting his feelings for Draco.

Draco sneered at Potter, after one last quick glance at McGonagall to see if she'd changed her mind. No such luck. "Since I have no other choice..." He said, taking his newly assigned seat next to the emerald eyed boy. Then quieter so he was the only one who could hear, "Only in your pansy-ass dreams, would I ever cooperate willingly with you, Potter."

The truth of the matter was that he fancied Harry more than he should. Malfoy's did not fall for half bloods or blood traitors. It wasn't so bad that Harry was also a wizard- there were potions and spells that could allow a wizard to become pregnant. No, it was the fact that he was in love with Harry-bloody-Potter, the boy who lived, who had defeated the Dark Lord at barely a year old. Imagine the scandal he would face if the wizarding world got wind that the Malfoy heir fancied their proclaimed savior.

Harry takes a deep sigh watching the blond hair slytherin take a seat next to him. As there was no changing the professor's mind and they did have a few other classes together but not many. So surely they would be pair together. To bad they couldn't share the same dorm but since they was in different houses their dorms was different also. But he did wonder if Draco truely had feelings for him like he does. Draco was always so cold and hard on him mostly because he had to act that way because he was a pureblood like Harry being a half blood. His father was a pureblood and his mother being a muggle. There was still alot of people not liking having half-bloods and muggles at Hogwarts. So he could expected that there would be alot of bad comments if anyone found out about it.

Draco ignored Harry for the rest of class. McGonagall noticed, and sighed, but there was nothing she could do. At least the boy was tolerating the others presence, and hadn't put up a huge fuss over sitting with him.

Time to time Harry does look over at Draco but he was ignoring him. He would sigh again wasn't much he could do. Once class was over Harry grabs his books. As he figure it wouldn't be the right time right now to get Draco alone. Even thought he wanted to pull him outside but he didn't want to make a big scene. 'How am I going to tell Draco how I feel? I can't do it infront of everyone...' Harry thought to himself. He was confused on what to do. Walking out of the class room he didn't walk out fast enought because he was trying to think about this. It just seems there was alot getting in his way and well things that was happen at Hogwarts didn't make it any easiler.

When class ended, Draco gathered up his things and waited for Blaise before leaving the room, heading to the Great hall for dinner. He was so glad that the day way over, that he wasn't paying attention to where he was going, and ran into Harry. "Watch it, Potter. Really, it's bad enough we're stuck together for classes. Stay the hell away from me outside of them." He said, shoving past the teen into the Great Hall, going over to the Slytherin table where his friends sat waiting for him and Blaise.

Harry blink ashe gets ran into by Draco. He didn't say anything so he got out of the slytherin's way. ANd while Draco walk away Harry couldn't help himself but to check out Draco's back side. He would smirk to himself in the inside but he snaps out of the stare when Ron and Hermonie called out his name. Hermonie already heard what Harry did to poor Ginny. "Harry why did you break up with Ginny?" Harry walks over to their table and sits down. "You know why...I need to protect people I care about..and I had to break up with Ginny cause she would had been hurt because of me..now please just drop it..." says. And the two just stare at Harry before not say anything cause they knew Harry wouldn't talk any thing else about it. And Harry wasn't going to tell that he had eyes on someone else. Who wasn't a witch.

A week had passed since McGonagall and the other teachers had rearranged the seating plans, and of course Draco was stuck with Potter in every class they shared. He'd taken to merely pretending to ignore the other teen, unless they were doing an assignment together- then there was just a bare minimum of interaction to get through the project. While pretending to ignore Harry, Draco was actually watching the teen, careful not to be noticed doing it. He'd actually learned a lot about the boy- a lecture in History of Magic would put him to sleep within five minutes, which Harry seemed to need, a lot. He seemed to be tired all the time, and the bags under his eyes proved he wasn't sleeping well, if at all. Draco was starting to worry about the golden boy.

So, he'd gone out of his way to make up a batch of dreamless sleep potion for him. It was currently Transfiguration, their last class of the day- for the week, technically. When class was dismissed, he watched Harry as the class packed up their books, and stopped the boy before he could leave, making him hang back until everyone else was gone. "Listen Potter- I don't care about your reasons, but it's obvious you're not getting enough sleep- which is dangerous for everyone- especially during Defense and Potions." He said, and handed the brunette a small bottle labeled as Dreamless Sleep. "It's the weekend- I don't care what plans you've made with your friends, but I expect you to use that... There's enough for three nights, and it'll keep you out for 8 hours or so. Hopefully Monday you'll be better rested, and more aware of what's going on around you." He said, then picked up his bag and left the room, heading to dinner.

It had been an long week since the school had changed some things around in their class. It was nice to have Draco do stuff next to him in classes they both was in. But it was hard to focus cause he did had alot of trouble sleeping due to nightmares. So it was really effecting how he did during class. He tryed his best to hide it but it was hard to do that seeing he always felt asleep in class. Not sure how long he could handle himself anymore. He always got into trouble because he been sleeping in class from the teachers. There was even times he had to go to see the nurse and try to get rest in the infirmany but it didn't help.

Harry was surpised when Draco held him back once after everyone left the class. He was glad it was the last class of the day cause he was very tired. And even more surpised that Draco had made a potion for him. "Uhh thanks Draco.." says. Harry takes the bottle from him and stares at it. A dreamless sleep potion. Maybe it would work he was just glad it was the weekend. He could get some rest hopefully. Pushing his glasses up he heads to dinner himself looking at Draco. "Hey Draco hold on a sec." Harry decide to make a move seeing that Draco was already doing this for him. Harry grabs Draco and pulls him into one of the boys bathroom.

Draco looked back when harry called his name, surprised when the teen grabbed him and dragged him into the bathroom. "What the hell do you think you're doing, Potter?" He asked, glaring at the boy, even though he was curious as to what Harry was planning.

Harry sets his books down after he closes the door. "Just listen to me...you probbly wonder why I broke up with Ginny. And I don't care if you don't want to listen to me or not." He turns around and looks at Draco "I love you, Draco. And you are the person I want to be with..not a witch but a wizard." moving closer. He pins Draco to the wall pressing himself against him before he kisses Draco on the lips. Plus they didn't have to worry about anyone walking in since he locked the bathroom door.

Draco was shocked, both by the little speech Harry made, and by the kiss. He stood there, frozen for a moment, before he pushed the teen away, and then smacked him. "Potter, are you sure you haven't hit your head recently..? Or ingested any strange potions?" He asked, certain that Harry was either drugged or insane. One did not just oust themselves as a pouf in the middle of a boys bathroom, especially not when any number of people could pass by the door and overhear.

Harry knew this was one very gutty move he did but he had to only to tell Draco his feelings for him. But he was expecting to be smacked because of it. Rubbing his face where the blond slytherin got him on the face. "Neither...those are true feelings. ANd I thought you would understand." feeling abit hurt because of it. "After all back there in class it seem that you cared about how I am sleeping. And yes its true I not getting enought sleep due to nightmares.." Harry grabs his books and opens the door "I'm sorry that I did that but I need it to come out sooner or later.." says. And with that he walks out of the bathroom and heads up the moving stair case to his dorm. He was skipping dinner all together cause he wasn't in the mood eat.

Draco felt bad, but it wasn't like he could go chasing after a clearly upset Harry Potter, out of a bathroom, no less.That would only raise suspicions, and questions he'd rather not answer. He'd wait, catch Potter alone and talk to him then. He sighed, and let his shoulders slump, leaning against the counter, looking rather defeated. "Merlin, what have I done..?" He said to himself, watching his pale reflection in the mirror, trying to find some sort of answer there as to how to fix this. He stood there, staring, for a couple of minutes before shaking himself out of the daze he'd fallen into, deciding he'd better go to dinner. It wouldn't do to have both the Gryffindor Golden Boy and the Slytherin Ice Prince missing from dinner. He cleaned up, and left the bathroom, heading for the Great Hall.

The painting was agrueing with another painting and that was really getting on Harry's nerves. So he pulls out his wand and open the enterence of Gryffindor dorm himself. He figure the others at the table would wonder where Harry was but they could guess where he was. It wasn't the first time he missed supper during the week. Half the time if he was eatting he ends up falling asleep in his plate. That wasn't Harry at all so yea theses nightmares was really starting to bother them. ANd now what happen in the bathroom would bother him more.

Harry heads up to his room and takes off his robe. He grabs his pj's and heads to the bathroom. A good warm shower would help and then he would take the potion to go to sleep. Harry just hopes Draco made the potion right. "I shouldn't have kissed him" he mumbles to himself. While removing his clothes and gets into the shower. Turning on the warm water and letting it casade down his body to relaxes his ache body. His mind wonders over what happen with Draco and he was cursing himself for it too. Now there was no way Draco would come around him anymore. At lease that what Harry thought. Washing his hair and body then washing the soap off it him. He would finally be done with the shower and got dressed. Harry returns to his room and lays down on the bed. He stares up at the ceiling and stretches some. He may not need the potion after all but he knew the nightmare would return. So it was best to take it. Grabbin it off the night stand and opens it taking some of it before heading to bed.

Draco went to dinner, chatted with his friends, and ate some food, before excusing himself, saying he wasn't all that hungry. He headed down to the dungeons, planning on just going to his room and doing some work, then going to bed.

Since the Slytherin House was so small, and the dungeons so large, every one of the snakes was able to have their own room- with the exception of the first years. They had to share- one of Severus' plans to help the younger children overcome their homesickness. Draco was never so thankful as now to have the room all to himself. He cast a silencing spell and pulled off his robes, flinging them over the back of the desk chair, heading to his bed. He dropped his bookbag down beside him when he sat, and pulled out some of his books, a refilling quill, and some parchment, and started on his homework. He didn't get very far, however. Apparently it had been a long day for him, as well, because before Draco had gottem more than a couple paragraphs written, he'd fallen asleep, books spread out beside him, quill falling from his hand to the floor, rolling under the bed.

For once he didn't have the nightmare so he was able to sleep the whole night thanks to Draco's potion. He woke up earily to his stomach growling lucky today there was no classes. But he still feel bad..not because he didn't have any sleep. He was ok but what happen yestarday. It was just best for Harry to dodge Draco all day or at lease try to. Right now he thought it was best to keep his distance away from Draco. One part of him wanted to make a love potion and used it on Draco but it wouldn't be right. It wouldn't be true love he did that just he effects of the potion. So there was different feelings that the golden boy was feeling.

Harry got dressed and grabs his wand sleeps it into his usual place he keeps it. He walks out of his room and the dorm before heading to the Great Hall to get some breakfast since he was sarving from not eatting last night. This time he sat away from his friends cause he wasn't in the mood to talk. Looking about he wonder if Draco was in the room so he looks over the Slytherin table at where Draco usual sat but didn't see him yet. Taking a sip of his orange juice he pokes around at his eggs abit.

Draco, on the other hand, ended up having a not so peaceful sleep. His mind wouldn't settle, and he kept going through 'what if' series of his life, how it could be. All of them ended miserably, except for the few where he was with Harry. He woke up closer to lunch than to breakfast, which, for him, was odd. He got up and went to the washroom, taking a quick shower before getting changed into clean clothes, then did his hair and headed out of his room, and the dungeons in general. He went out towards the front entrance of the school, looking out over the grounds, trying to see if he could spot any of his friends, or Harry. He didn't know why, but he just needed to apologize.

Harry heads outside and decides to take alittle walk to the lake. It was a nice enough day it wasn't to cold even thought it was autumn. Looking around and he takes off his glasses off to clean them before he puts it back on. Walking down the path and finally arrives at the lake. He sits down on an stump staring out across the waters while he picks up a few stones from the ground and thowns them into the water. It was completely bored some of his friends was busy with something so it just leaves him alone.

Draco spotted the brunette down by the lake, all alone. Grinning, he walked outside, heading for the lake. He hid the grin, and pretended he didn't notice Harry already at the lake, so it wouldn't be too suspicious. Once he was down there, however, he went straight to the teen, sitting down a couple of feet away. "Good Morning, Harry." He said, a little nervous. He hadn't thought this out enough to know what exactly he was going to say or do. "I trust you had a good sleep last night?" He asked with a little smirk. He decided to just let the conversation go as it would, see how it all played out.
