He enjoyed the time they had together, looking at her fondly. He debated on maybe kissing her, but decided against it.
"Hey, Roderich, how about we go to your house tomorrow?" She asked, looking at him. "or, maybe go out somewhere? I-I mean... not as a date if you don't want it to be that or anything!"
Roderich just looked at her, grinning an understanding. "Why don't we go on a real date Elizaveta? I know a nice place we can go for dinner. We could hang out a my house until it was time.
A smiled crossed the Hungarian girl's face. "I would like that a lot..." She said, eyes shining slightly. "As long as you can put up with me~" She teased.
He pet her head lovingly. "I don't think that will be a problem. Mostly because I like you."
She laughed softly. "Well, I'm glad then..." her phone beeped and she cast a glance at it, noticing the time. "Uh, Roderich, when do you need to be home...?"
"Hmm? Oh, it doesn't matter. I can stay as long as you'd have me." He didn't really have to go home at all of he didn't want to.
"Well... I didn't know if, like, your parents wanted you home at a certain time or if you had homework..." She said, making a slight face at the fact that she knew she had a nice little pile of homework to do herself.
He blushed. "Oh...umm...I'll see you tomorrow then." He took a hint and went towards the door. "I'll see you at the front office after school tomorrow."
"You're going to leave without giving me a hug good-bye?" She pouted adorably, acting offended. "You're so mean..."
He thought she wa really offended and his eyes went wide. "I-I'm...I'm sorry.." He blushed and hugged her.
"I wasn't truly offended.." She hugged him back and kisses his cheek. "I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"
He smiled. "Ok. I'll be happy to see you too." He left, his heart fluttering out of his chest.
She sighed and flopped on the couch, watching a drop of wax go down the edge of the candle. She was really hoping that he would've kissed her cheek, but, she was still happier than anything.
Roderich say in his house, all alone. None of his family ever wanted anything to do with him. His mother was a drunk, and his father hated him for being a disgrace. He went to his room and shut the door, playing his piano until he was yelled at to 'Shut the fuck up and go to bed.' He just sighed and didn't bother to come try to find food before going to bed. At least he had Elizaveta to think about now.
The next day, Elizaveta donned her uniform early and went to Gilbert's house, knowing Roderich lived next door. She sat on Gil's doorstep, not wanting to wake him when he didn't have school, and waited for the Austrian boy to walk outside.
Gilbert stepped out and grinned, still in his boxers with a grin on his face. Behind him was a uniformed Ludwig who was ready for school. "Mm. That was a night to remember sweet Ludwig." He hummed and the German sqeaked, blushing. "Gilbert! Don't talk like that in front of Eliza!"
Roderich was having quite a morning. he managed to wake up his mother in the process of getting dressed, and she was pissed. She threw his backpack at him and yelled. "You dumb ass kid! I take care of you and you are such a disappointment!" He sighed and straightened his uniform before grabbing his bag. |
"Hm? Oh, Luddy, I'm used to him being vulgar. I used to be quite vulgar myself." She laughed softly, stopping when she heard yelling from the neighbor's house. "Gil... i-is that normal?"
Gilbert was still grinning at Ludwig's reaction, pulling him closer. "Come on love. It'll be ok. God you are so cute!" He then heard her question. "Oh, yeah. All the time. His mom and dad are complete assholes."
She frowned. "Is... that Roderich's house?" She was clearly concerned at the yelling. "Have the cops ever been called or something because of the noise...?"
"Yeah, that's specs house." He said, blandly. "Like a said. His parents are awful. No body complains about the noise cause his folks have some real good lawyers, and they'd do some bad things to anyone thy would dare defy them." Roderich was now walking towards the school and Gilbert yawned. "Go my love. You too Liz. Roddy's going without ya."
"L-later Gil..." She ran after Roderich and hugged him from behind when she caught up to him. "hey there~" She said, giggling softly. "How was your evening?"
Ludwig kissed Gilbert and ran off, tugging his backpack along. He followed at a distance, not wanting to be in their space. Gilbert noticed and ran after him, grabbing his hand and walking along side him. "G-Gilbert! You're in your boxers!" He declared and only heard laughter. "Silly boy. You want to loan me your pants then?"
Roderich went stiff at first at the contact, then realized it was Elizaveta. "Oh. Good morning. I guess my evening was alright. How about yours?" He asked politely, though he didn't seem very happy. |
"It was alright..." She frowned slightly and let go of him, and moved to walk beside him. "Are you okay?" She heard Gilbert walking with Ludwig and sighed internally.
He nodded. "Yeah. I'm fine." He lied, not wanting to talk about his issues.
