Lelouch nodded his head in agreement before moving to the mouth of the cave once again.
"I suggest we begin by searching the eastern area of the island," he stated. "When we split earlier Suzaku and I took the north and south paths. Suzaku and I came from teh west so it would make snese to travel in the one direction where none of us came from."
"That makes sense," Kallen agreed. The sooner they were off this island the sooner they could go back to fighting Britannia and getting rid of those obnoxious, pompous asses once and for all. She knew they could do it. With Zero on their side they could do anything, could amke miracles happen.

Euphemia nods moving over to Suzaku and takes his hand into her own. She looks over at Suzaku "I'm just glad you are ok. You have me worried." says caring so much about her knight. Of course he was supposed to be protecting her but in away she wanted to protect him even thought he didn't need it. She looks back over at the girl and Zero. "Are you sure we can trust them?" says whispering them. Of course her brother had change alot since they was children but she couldn't never trust that girl next to him.

Suzaku looks down at Euphemia and felt her holding his hand. "We can trust them as much as we can once we get off the island." 'Euphemia's trust will get the best of her one day..Only if she knew the truth.' he thought to himself. "Anyway just keep close to me and you will be find." says before looking over at the other two "Alright lets go.." says and heads toward eastern side.

Lelouch stayed close to Kallen as they walked through the trees. He watched Suzaku and Euphemia ahead and couldn't help the flash of jealousy he felt towards his older sister as she interacted with Suzaku. It was ridiculous of course. He wa sher knight after all but that was part of the problem. Suzaku was suposed to become Nunally's knight. Things were suposed to be different and even though Suzaku was now in his side he wanted to rip him away from his sister and tell her to back off. He didn't though. He ust walked and contented himself with glaring at her, the expression on his face unseen thanks to the mask he wore.

Suddenly he felt something strange happening in his left eye...his geass...before he could say or do anything something fell out from under his feet. Kallen yelped as she too fell and soon they were plumeting down to who knows where. Lellouch let out a cry of surprise and pain as he landed awkwardly on the ground with Kallen on top of him. Just great...

Suzaku wishes the princess wasn't so cling to him. It was hard for him while he looks over his shoulder while they walked. he saw Lelouch behind him not sure who he was looking at but he was sure it was Euphemia. It was just hard to tell with the helmet on. He looks back and once they reach that stop. He felt the ground shake not knowing what was going on before they knew they was begannig to fall.

Down below Lloyd when everything was shaking and the ruins was glowing. He looked at the computer seeing what was going on "Oh...this is not good.." As the bald headed man(not sure what his name is.) turns to Schneizel "My lord please save yourself" As Schneizal stares what was going on not even move as the ruins around them seem to be falling in on them but only one area. They watched as the platform came down with four figures on it. Once the platform was collapse Lloyd freaks out some almost thought he had seen a ghost "Major Kururugi! And is that...Zero?" he says seeing the four of them in stop. The soldiers raises their guns at them as the bald head moves over and yells "Don't shoot you fools Princess Euphemia is with them capture them now!" And the soldiers move up four of them goes and shields themselfs from of Suzaku and Euphemia while the others charges at them.

And the whole time that was happen it look like Suzaku was just standing there. Cause he wouldn't remember what happen to him before when Lelouch uses his geass on him. So it just looks like he was just a zombie standing there in an trance or something.

Lelouch cursed colourfully, quietly of course, when he saw exactly who was standing by the scientist. It was his older brother and that could only mean trouble. Quickly his eyes scanned the area, taking in teh number of soldiers and their odds of escaping. This wans't good. He and Kallen were heavily outnumbered and he was pretty sure that she had a knife on her but really, what use would that be? There were too many soldiers and they each had at least one gun.

It was then taht his eyes alighted on the knightmare frame towering behind the humans. It was a monsterous size, especially when compared to teh tiny forms of the humans, and it was made out of a dark metal...it would be perfect. Kallen noticed a split second later and pointed it out to him. "Good, we can use that. Move!" Kallen distracted the soldiers, dancing around them as easily as she did in her Guren Knightmare Frame. Lelouch slipped into the knightmare frame easily and was pleased to see it was already activated. He quickly began charging the systems and his eyes widened as he saw the screen light up. "What kind of knightmare is this..." he muttered before reaching out with the mechanical arm and snatching Kallen away from the soldiers. He glanced at another screen, showing Schneizel and his eyes narrowed. "Next time brother..." he muttered before charging from teh save, weapons activated and charged as he blasted through the enemy forces. The weapons were incomplete however and he tossed his mask off in annoyance to give himself a better view of the situation.

Kallen called out a warning about reinforcements but Lelouch wasn't worried. "There's no need to panic," he said over the intercom system. "Another system is opperationa." He pulled a leaver and the wings engaged, teh knightmare lifting into teh sky easily.

Suzaku snaps out just intime to see Lelouch and Kallen taking the knightmare frame and escaping. Both him and Euphemia walks out side where his brother and the others was. Hearing the bald fat guy talking about loosing the knightmare to Zero in total shock. "Well it was only a test model anyway.." Schneizel says before turning around to look at his sister "Althougth I am glad to see you are ok, sister" says softly. Euphemia runs over to her brother with a smile on her face. "Oh Schneizel I missed you.." smiling gently up at her brother. As it has been a very long time since she saw her older brother. And was greatful to see him here out of all places not sure why he was here thought. "Dear Euffy sorry that we took so long getting here" says while Euphemia just told him that it was just fine.

"Your highnesss, shall we to keep the sche schedule?" one of the head officers says. Schneizel looks over at the officer and nods "Hm? Oh right go ahead." says before looking back over at his sister. As the officer and two of the soldiers runs over to Suzaku pointing their guns at him as the officer says. "Major Suzaku Kururugi, you are under arrest for a grade two violation of military regulations." Euphemia was shock to hear this and turns around and was angery "Wait a mintue he is my knight! you can't do that!" says. Before her brother says placing his hand on her shoulder "We will do something about this later. Until then let them be." looking down at her. Euphemia turns looking at her brother with worry in her eyes "Did something happen?" They then would escort Suzaku alway back to the ship.

Lelouch few straight ahead, the knightmare frame, he thought he'd heard it being called the Gawain, gliding smoothly over the water. Needless to day Ohgi was surprised when he received a call from his leader about picking up a flying knightmare but he managed to garble out a response and soon Lelouch was ending the call and relaying the information to Kallen.

"I've contacted Ohgi," he told her. "I've sent him co-ordinates for a meeting point. We should be picked up in a matter of minutes once we're far enough away from Kamine island."

"Yes sir!" Kallen replied. "Only...one thing...was the Guren..."

"There is no need to worry," Lelouch replied confidently. "It was recovered safely. You can thank your comrads for that when we see them next."

"Yes sir..."

As they continued to fly over the ocean Lelouch's mind drifted back to Suzaku. He hadn't meant to use his geass on Suzaku, never on his best friend but if he hadn't Suzaku would have comitted suicide in an atempt to kill him. He shuddered at both the thought of Suzaku all but pulling the trigger himself and at the revolted feeling he had after using his geass on his best friend. Would it have perminent consequences? He didn't know and he doubted either of them would until much later. Suzaku probably wouldn't even remember the comand. He wouldn't know why he suddenly had the urge to get out of there. All he would know was that he had the sudden and irresistable urge to live.

"WHat have I done to you Suzaku?" he murmured to himself. Just then a signal came online and Lelouch immediately recognised it as the Black Knights hailing them. Good. They were safe.

They ran the sound from the command center and the Lancelot during the battle. And the while time Suzaku was standing there he couldn't believe his ears. He didn't remember any of it the only thing he remember was being in the cockpit of his knightmare with Lelouch. Of course at that time he didn't know it was Lelouch. As the officer walks over to the contrals and turns off the machine. From the way he look he was very disappointed how things turn out. "I don't know how you got out of the Lancelot..." says before turning around and looking at Suzaku. "But you blew a golden opportunity to kill Zero in order to save your own life." glaring at the knightmare pilot. "Are you goin to protect this?"

"Wa...was that really me?" Suzaku says still in shock over the whole thing. It wasn't like he was going to know Lelouch uses his geass on him to save his life. Cause right there he was going to sacfice himself in order to kill Zero and maybe end the rebellion of the Black Knights. And the officer adds after Suzaku spoke "This is nothing les than direct munity" As everyone around him was in shock and disappionted. Who knows what Euphemia was thinking after hearing this.

Back at the palace Cornalia sits on her throne as one of her guards came and reports what had happen. Cornalia looks at him "What? Kururagi did that?" As her guards would nods "Yes your highness but the details are unknown." Cornalia sits back and growls "Damnit, just whe I thought we'd nailed the lid on Ishikawa..." sighs deely to herself and closes her eyes not sure what to do but at lease her sister was ok. And then Guilford comes running up "Your highness, The Great Kaman bridge in Kyushu black has been destroyed!" says with his cold look on his face.

"What?!" looking over at her knight. As Guilford explains everything that had happen. Clearly the boats wasn't from the Chinese Federation cause he had the Japan flag on their ships.

Needless to say Ohgi was not expecting to pick up a flying knightmare traveling fast over the ocean. Nevertheless he acted quickly and soon they were safely inside the Black Knight's ship and headed for teh mainland. Lelouch exited the knightmare after powering down, releasing Kallen before he did so. He could immediately tell taht their own knightmare engineer, Rakshada, would not hesitate to get her hands on it. SHe would enjoy fine tuning the design, upgrading all the systems and finishing the weapons. He was amazed that they hadn't been completed but the flight systems were opperational. It didn't matter at the moment though.

Lelouch returned tohis quarters and was soon met by C.C. He removed his mask and sat down on a chair while she sat down oposite him. They didn't talk for a while, just locked gazes for a while before Lelouch finally looked away.

"You did a very silly thing, you know," C.C. commented.

"I couldn't let him die," Lelouch replied, his voice quiet, somehow subdued.

"And so you ordered him to live..." Her voice had not changed but he was sure that she was mocking him, teasing him for his weakness and inability to let Suzaku go. He'd done it for more than that though. He'd done it to save himself although he didn't know if that made him feel better or worse about the entire situation.

"I've recruited him," he told her bluntly. "Suzaku is now our agent within the eemy camp."

"And will he stay that way around Euphemia?"

"He will," Lelouch growled, anger flashing in his amathyst eyes before he had the chance to quell it. Suzaku was his and not Euphemias. The fact taht Suzaku had chosen him over his sister proved that although C.C.'s words struck a nerve. He'd keep an eye on Suzaku but he wasn't letting his best friend go. Not for anything.

Suzaku returns to his quarters as order from the officer. He would remain there for abit until Euphemia had an chance to talk to Schneizel about droping the charges. Cause there was no way she could see her knight arresting for something that Suzaku did even though he didn't remember any of it. Suzaku lays back on the bed once he got done washing up and change. Suzaku closes his eyes as he thought of everything that happen and the talk he had with Lelouch.

"I hope he is ok." mumbles to himself. He thought about alot of things before he decided to give up his postion as Euphemia's knight. It was something he should had done after remembering killing his father. Something he had blocked out and Mao had open up that memory.

"Well are you just a luck fellow, Suzaku." Lloyd's voice snaps Suzaku out from his day dream. Lloyd stands in the doorway of his room looking at him. He chuckles gently before walking in "Princess Euphemia has talk to her brother Prince Schneizel into droping the charges against you."

Suzaku sits up quickly looking at Lloyd "Really?" says he was happy at lease he could move freely around again. It would make it even more easiler since after all he was now agent for Lelouch.

Lloyd nods "Yes but please do try to stay out of trouble next time. I know it is hard but anyway...I just wanted to tell you about your next misson....." walking over and sits down chair.

But before Lloyd could explain on his next misson. Suzaku stares down for an moment before looking up at Lloyd "Lloyd what would you think of me if I told Euphemia that I no longer want to be her knight?" says wanted to get his opinon on it.

Lloyd blinks for an moment and shrugged raising his arms up. "I don't know..but why on earth you want to do that for?" his glasses slide down from his nose before he pushes them back up. But Suzaku didn't say anything and Lloyd sighs "Whatever the reason. Do what you got to do? anyway I tell you about the misson tomarrow..you need to sleep.." stays and leaves the room. Suzaku sighs and tosses himself back on the bed staring up at the ceiling. It was hard but to him it was the right thing to do. If Euphemia would let him of course. Suzaku rolls over and would fall asleep as he was just to tired to do anything else.

A knock came at the door and Lelouch quickly pulled on his mask. He called for whoever it was to come in and saw Ohgi step into the room. "Zero he said, bowing respectfully. "There's something on the news that I think you need to see."

"Lead the way," Lelouch replied, standing and following the Japanese man to the main meeting area. THe news was already on, showing one of the former government officials of Japan. He was spouting rehashed words and phrases that Lelouch had used, claiming that Japan was an independant nation.

"The fool," Lelouch thought sneering at the pitiful little man. He was being aided by the chinese federation, that was obvious, but he wasn't sure what the other's end game was yet. Clearly he wanted to rally the people but Lelouch had already been doing that. Clearly he wanted to swoop in now that people were riled upand start his own rebellion. Typical politician. He let someone else do the hard work, getting people to listen in the first place, and then he stepped in to try and claim the credit. Well Lelouch wouldn't allow that.

"It's our move now, right Zero?" kallen asked, turnign to look at him.

"Yes," Lelouch replied, his voice strong within the mask. 2It's our move."

The next day Suzaku sitting on the floor in the docking bay of the ship. Suzaku looks down at the broking watch that belongs to his father. He was thinking back when he told Euphemia that he no longer wanted to her knight. They did had a talk about it but other that he found it to go very well. While on deck both Lloyd and Cécile was talking about what was on the news and also about the misson that Suzaku was on.

On the sea Cornalia and the others was battling the uprising that the news was talking about. It was very storming too and they was suffering some lose. So they had to retreat for now until the storm cleared but clearly the other side had won. While there was alot of talk back in Toyko between his advisors and Schneziel. And Euphemia came up wanted to help knowing it was hard for her to do anything cause just before she came she was at the art gallery looking at her late brother, Clovis. But she was only order to stay out of it.

(Skipping alittle bit ahead during that same day, Ok? And oh do we still want Euphemia order Suzaku to love her when he is battle just before lelouch comes in with the power pack?)

((I think so. That way Suzaku can be torn between Lelouch and Euphemia. And he can tell Lelouch about it later now that he doesn't have to hide anything from him and Lelouch can get jealous. ))

Lelouch stared at his knights as they assembled before him. They were confused and didn't know what to believe. Where they going to join with the former government official and take over Japan again witht eh help of the Chinese federation or were they going to keep to themselves? Things were so unclear for them at the moment and they needed Zero, their leader, to tell them what to do. lelouch aws more than happy to oblige.

"We will not be joining with Sawasaki," he said. There was a chorus of confused voices, demanding to know exactly what was going on. Lelouch raised a hand for silencea nd it fell as surely as if he had shouted at them. "He is merely a puppet of the Chinese federation. Nothing would change. They are using him."

"But he wants to give us back oru freedom." one protested. Lelouch shook his head in denail.

"No," he said. "He is merely a puppet. Nothing would change with him in power. It would be a front, a sham."

"So what are we going to do, Zero/" Kallen asked, looking at him curiously. Did he have a plan? His tone and words seemed to suggest taht he did.

"In eed I do," Lelouch replied, smirking under his mask. "I intend to create an independant nation within Japan."

((My memory of these episodes is a little vague and I'm in the prosess or rewatching them. I should know what I'm doing properly by tonight though))

(Ok here is my long post ever lol. I had to do this on WordPerfect cause I didn’t want to lose it =P . So prepare to do some reading. [blushes] )

The Avalon moves closer to the target at the Fukuoka base. It was very tense everywhere you go on the ship. Suzaku was waiting in the Lancelot with the float system that was hooked to the Lanacelot’s back. He was thinking a lot right now but right now he had to focus more on the matter before hand. There was no way they was getting away with this at the base. And Suzaku was order to go in there and take the base back.

“Incoming missiles! Apparent launch point: Fukuoka base!” one of the officers shouted out. As it was true missiles had been launch and was coming toward the Avalon. From what it showed on the screen. “1 minute, 5 seconds to impact.”

Lloyd would look at the screen shifting his weight around. As he was slightly impressed as he sayed “Not bad. They’re well prepared against air attacks as well.” Lloyd was always up spirits in stuff like this since after all Avalon didn’t really have a commander. So the earl was basely the commander on the ship like he had anything else to do.

Down below the launch bay opens up with Suzaku and Lancelot ready to be launch. Suzaku grips onto the contrals tightly. He had that lets get this thing over with look on his face. “Are we sending up a barrage” Suzaku says over the intercom to Cecile. And she replies back at him “We’re be fine in this postion.” While the missles was see aheading directly at the Avalon.

As it look like the ship was destory when the missles hit. At the Fukuoka base, Sawasaki and the others was waiting for the reports of the Avalon to be destroy. “Direct hit comfirmed. The Avalon
destroyed!” Sawasaki smirks and was pleased with the reports “Hmm even if is the last model, a single ship can’t beat us.” But little did they know Avalon wasn’t destroyed. From what it look on the screen Avalon was still flying. “What the?”

Avalon slowly moves out of the dark clouds of smoke that came from when the missles hit the Avalon’s shields. “We proved this system was pratical with the Lancelot, after all.” Lloyd says with his own smirk across his face. “Major Kururagi, I’m laying out the misson plans are reconfirm.” Cecile starts to speak.

Suzaku looks down on his own screen at the misson plan while Cecile explains. As they was going to breach the enemies front lines at an high attuide so they could lanuch the Lancelot for the attack. He was wondering at this point of Lelouch was going to do anything figuring he would. Cause Lelouch wasn’t going to go and let someone take all the hard work he had been doing.

“The advanced prototype weapon Z-01 Lancelot, is using the float unit will attack the enemy headquarters at Fukuoka Base. Further, the float unit conumes energy at a high rate. So pay attention to your operational time limit.” Cecile spoke to Suzaku. Suzaku looks up at screen watching it come into focus.

Suzaku watches and knowing it was hard but he need to. “Yes, My lord.” pressing down on the button on his contrals. While the Lancelot moves into launch postion powering up all contrals. With the float unit ready to be activated.. “M.E. Boost...”

Cecile heard this and knew Suzaku “Lancelot unit now launching!”

“Launch!” Suzaku says and Lancelot comes shooting out of the Avalon bay. Full speed up into the air as Suzaku activates the float unit on the back of his knightmare. It almost look like his knightmare was really flying because it was thanks to the float unit. And flies directly to the base.

At the base they couldn’t believe what was going on and of course Sawasaki knew who was piloting the knightmare. It was Kururagi’s son, Suzaku.

In the air already Suzaku was fightinging the ships in the sky. Which they didn’t stand much against the Lancelot as he destroyes everyone of them. And he would heads toward the base “There it is the enemy headquarters” The there was a beep “Huh? A open channel” looking up seeing Sawasaki there and says “Is this the prime minster’s son Suzaku in the pilot seat?” And knew it was true “I see I didn’t know he had a son..”

The Lancelot manages to get past and lands on the base.

“This has nothing to do with my father. I came to end this fighting..” Suzaku spoke says while guideing the Lancelot to a stop before heading on. “I will except your surrender”

As Sawasaki goes on and on it was enought to make someone sick. This was the wrong of doing things in his book but what other choice do people have. The empire has taking everything from the Japanesse so people was doing things to get it back.

Suzaku wasn’t paying attention when he was blind sided. As a enemy unit guns the float unit off from the Lancelot and destorying his gun. He had to retreat between two storage buildings. He looks at the energy gauge “Damn it my energy filler.”

Lloyd looks over at Cecile “What?! The floater’s broke too?!” Cecile turns to Lloyd says “We need to attack the base directly with the Avalon!” Lloyd freaks out and yells back at Cecile “No the shield isn’t complete we will be shot down if that happens!” And Cecile turns back and tells Suzaku to reroute all power to the combat and comms systems.

Suzaku nods and does as he was told “Right...” as all power was rerouted to both systems. It was all the power he had. It did look very bad from way the filler looked like. As both Suzaku and Sawasaki was arguing about the way things should be. But Suzaku didn’t want anything to do with Sawasaki as he wasn’t going to follow him. He was already following someone else. Someone had a better plan that what Sawasaki had in mind.

The out of nowhere Euphemia came up “Suzaku Kururagi” Suzaki was surpised to hear from her after what he did. “Princess Euphemia!” As Euphemia looks at him “Suzaku the truth is I..Um..you..” Pauses for an moment.

Suzaku moves out with the Lancelot “Sorry but right now...” and Euphemia looks away for amoment she was very embaress about what she was going to say is..”Right now..uhh...I hear by command you to love me!” says. And wasn’t really pay any attention about what Euphemia said “Yes ma’am...huh.” Euphemia would explain her feelings she had towards her knight..even down to the part how cats hated Suzaku.And how he shouldn’t hate himself. Suzaku was fighting the whole time while Euphemia explains while the energy was slowly draining away. It look like the end but Suzaku also explain his own feelings which now was mess up cause he also had feelings for someone else. But that probbly would never happen anyway.

“Princess, may I ask one final request?” Suzaku heads toward the base. In the last moments before his energy goes out. He was doing in a direct attack ahead on. It seem foolish but that was just the type of person he was. “Even if something happens to me, please don’t hate yourself. If I should die..destroy all the files you have on me. I don’t want my friends to be sad Just tell everyone I transfor to another school or something..”

“You..You don’t mean..” Euphemia says not wanted this to happen.

“Yes my knightmare is out of energy...” says as he was surrounded by all the other units. “Oh and tell say goodbye to Miss Cecile and Lloyd for me.” Only wish he could give lelouch a message right now. That was something really pulling at him but there was nothing he could do at this point.

“NO! Suzaku! I want you to LIVE!” screams tears rolling down the princess’s cheek.

Still under the power of the geass that was what stop Suzaku at the moment.

(Hand cramp! *rubs her hands* Damn I never did that long of a post before ever.)

"But Zero!" Kallen protested, her eyes emploring as she looked up at her comander. "Won't you let the Guren come with you? We can help."

"I know you can Kallen," Lelouch replied from under his mask, looking down at the red haired knightmare pilot with a fond look in his violet eyes, unseen by anyone because of his mask. "But I need to do this alone. C.C. and I will pilot the knightmare we comendeered from Britannia. It will be enough."

"But..." Kallen was interupted by a hand on her shoulder. SHe looked up at Ohgi who was shaking his head, silently telling her to be silent and follow Zero's plan. She glared at the older male before turning back to Zero and nodding her head, submitting for the moment but at the first sign of things going badly she was going to jump into the Guren and be at his side no matter what anyone else said.

Soon enough Lelouch and C.C. were in the knightmare frame, the Gawain as named by the Britannian forces, and heading towards the battle. It was a good plan in Lelouch's mind, get in past the shields using the stealth unit and take them out from the inside.

"We're getting reports that Suzaku Kururugi is currently engaging the target," a voice came through the communications channel and Lelouch's eyes widened and then narrowed at the news. They couldn't see Suzaku or the others yet but they were close. He grit his teeth before instructing C.C. to activate the stealth shield. She did so without a word and soon they were approaching their enemies undetected. He watched Suzaku fight off the chinese forces and then.....

"It appears his knightmare has run out of power," C.C. noted, her tone neutral. Lelouch clenched his fists around the controls at teh thought.

"Do we have an energy cell?" he asked.

"Yes," C.C. replied.

"Good. Deactivate the stealth shield and get in close to Suzaku."

"So that is the famous white knightmare, the lancelot. He appears to be fighting as recklessly as ever."

"Yes but he's following someone else's plan, distracting them so Cornelia's forces can take them out another way...." He wondered whose plan it was. Cornelia was a birlliant tactics master but this...was it Schneizel? With his older brother around Lelouch had to tred extremely lightly. The other male had taught him the rules of chess and how to play after all and when he was younger he could never beat his older, blonde haired breother. Times had changed through.

Fighters approached them and Lelouch barely blinked before firing off a blast from the newly functioning weapons that destroyed them immediately. Good. Rakshada had done an amazing job on the systems and now they were working perfectly. In moments they had landed, croucning slightly since their knightmare was so much larger than the Lancelot.

"Kururugi," he said over an open channel, making sure not to address the other by his given name. "Is the Lancelot still opperational?" he knew damn well that it wasn't but it was a dangerous game they were playing and they both had to play their parts to the letter or it could all go very badly. He hoped Suzaku would understand but since it was an open channel his superiors back at the base would hear them along with his own black knights and the men fighting for the chinese federation and the supposed liberation of Japan.

((I am so, so, so, so, SO sorry for the delay. I feel like a complete ass but I've finally got it up.))

At that moment Suzaku thought his life would end right then and there surrounded by the Chinese federation forces. But seeing they was all destoryed by some unknown cannon. He looks behind him seeing the Gawain the one that Lelouch had stolen. He thought the cannons was under delvoped by the Britannian army and that surely would get Lloyd all worked up about it and who may had got them to work. Since Lloyd and Rakshada once did work together. Suzaku watches the larger knightmare land front of his powerless knightmare. It was good to see Lelouch here seeing that he to wanted Sawasaki stopped too just as much as Britannian and Lelouch's older brother.

Suzaku hears the open channel and his guest was right. It was Lelouch but he knew better not to addressed Lelouch by his name but only his alias. Cause he knew that the others would be able to hear everything. So it was a good thing at lease he thought it was a good thing the princess used an more close channel. But either way he would have to tell Lelouch about it later not sure how he would. Right now he couldn't think about it. "Zero...I thought it was you..." Suzaku replied.

Lelouch smirked. Good. Suzaku realised the situation and was being careful not to use his name. He carefully extended the arm of the Gawain and showed Suzaku teh energy filler resting in the machine's palm. Despite the destruction surrounding them Lelouch had eyes only for the white knightmare and the pilot that lay hidden inside the comand centre in the chest. This particular move was done for more than one reason. Firstly he didn't want to let Suzaku die. He just couldn't and he knew he would do almosxt anything to stop his friend from dying. The second reason was that it would show the people that the first goal of the Black Knights was protecting the people against any and all invaders, even those that pretended to be friendly. The official story wouldn't include their involvement of course but the rumors of it would spread and the people would rally behind him and his soldiers.

"I plan on taking out the enemy comand centre," he said, his smirk evident in his voice. He was so glad that Suzaku had managed to hold on until they reached him. He wished they could use a private channel but he wanted everyone to hear that he was the one taht extended the invitation, the one that suggested working together. He was no bigot and he would not discriminate between Japanese and Britannians and the more people that knew that the more his legend would spread, the greater his influence. "Care to join me?"

Suzaku looks at when the Gawain lower its arm down and saw the energy filter. He looks back up at the large knightmare front of him. Hearing Lelouch was going to take on enemy command center as this was great. It was the first that they would be working together ever since they came off the island. Even thought it would be the first and only time on the battle field. There was a long pause between both knightmares before he moves Lancelot's arm with the lance back into its sheath. "Sorry but I'm going to hit them first..in my own way." says before reaching out and takes the filter from the Gawain and replace it empty one with the full one. Once he did that all systems return to normal as the gauge was showing full again. Suzaku presses the start button again and pushes on the contrals as Lancelot skates passed the Gawain and heads toward the center building. He was sure enought that Lelouch would follow him.

Sawasaki saw that they would be coming this way. "Resume attack! Stop them! Stop Kururagi and Zero!"

Suzuku would pulls his lance back out and heads toward the chinese units slashing one after enought. At his speed those units wouldn't stand a chance since now he was back to full power. Even the Britannian army couldn't believe that Zero was helping out with this attack. It was going to be something that no one probbly would stop talking about until the next battle when every that would be.

Since there was an open channel to everything Sawasaki would speak "Zero shouldn't we be fighting together as comrades? don't you care about Japan?"

The corners of Lelouch's mouth curved upwards a little further as Suzaku used the Lancelot's arm to reach out and take the filler. He already knew that the other would but it was still good to see.

"You are overly happy about this," C.C. pointed out but Lelouch ignored her, focusing instead on the situation at hand. THey had a battle to win and soon Sawasaki and the Chinese federation will have no ground to stand on. They would take out Sawasaki and then the Chinese Federation would have no reason to remain on Britannian teritory, or Japanese technically but the Britannians classed it as their own since they conquered the country almost a decade ago.

As Suzaku sped off Lelouch released a large burst of energy from the weapons system and obliterated the Chinese foces taht stood in his way. He and Suzaku seemed to work in perfect harmony, balancing each other out as Suzaku charged and Lelouch blasted their enemies. As Sawasaki's voice rung out of the speakers Lelouch's eyes narrowed.

"The black knights stand against anyone who uses violence unjustly and for their own selfish reasons," he replied, his voice cold as he addressed the former Japanese government member.

"Selfish? I'm doing this for Japan!" the other replied. The fool. He actually believed what he was saying. He thought that the Chinese federation would help him get Japan back to its independant state but in reality all it would do was put Japan back under the thumb of another country, this time the Chinese Federation rather than Britannia. It really was pathetic how small minded he was. He didn't reply though, allowing Suzaku to have his turn to speak.

"So Sawasaki! If this is for Japan, why did you run away to the Chinese Federation." the tone of Suzaku's voice was angry hearing this. The Chinese Federation was only using Sawasaki there would be no way Japan would return to an independant nation. Sawasaki was just to much of an airhead to even see what would had happen if this would to work out but it wouldn't. "You should have stayed for everyone's sake."

Sawasaki would call Suzaku a child. Cause it seem Suzaku didn't understand why he was doing this or he didn't care either. He just wanted Japan back no matter what it cost which was a foolish move to Suzaku and Zero.

The Lancelot goes thru the hole that Zero had openned up for him. As everyone else was surpised to hear that both Gawain contraled by Zero and CC and Lancelot contraled by Suzaku was working together. Cause there was no way they would let Sawasaki nor the Chinese Federation go on with this plan. Only one person alone will change this land. Sawasaki would try to escape but at the end he got stopped.

Lelouch followd Suzaku through teh hole he'd made earlier, smirking as the Gawain damaged more of the structure as he and C.C. flew through. They followed Suzaku and took out the enemy forces, barely using any effort. This was absolute child's play. He barely had to use the weapons systems and even then he wasn't using them to their fullest extent, preferring to let Suzaku take care of most of the neemies while he got the ones that came at them from behind. He noticed something moving out o the corner of his eye and turned to see a screen with Sawasaki and the one that was probably pulling the strings escaping on a small car like vehicle.

"Kururugi," he said over the radio. "Follow me. We need to intercept them before Sawasaki gets away." Not waiting to see if Suzaku listened to him he and C.C. turned the Gawain and flew upwards, moving so that they were now above Kyushu.

"There they are," C.C. said, pointing one delicate finger at a small map where a light was blinking.

"Let's go," he said. Soon they were lowering themselves down in front of the vehicle. The look of utter shock and horror on Sawasaki's face said it all.

"That's far enough," Lelouch entoned, smirking even though he knew that the other couldn't see it. This was a moment of triumph for him and the Black Knights. With this they would ensure taht the people saw them not as a threat but as a shield between themselves and any invading enemy forces. It would gain the trust of the people and ensure another foothold within the area.

Once they intercepted their escape it didn't take long for the main forces to get their and arrests Sawasaki and also any other that was there. Suzaku sat there watching before looking over at the Gawain. He wanted to see Lelouch face to face but they would be able to see each other when they go back to school. "Good job, Zero.." says over radio "Sawasaki will be put justice for the crimes he did." says. And also he wanted Lelouch to leave before they turn around and try to arrested him. He would give him a warning but he didn't cause they would wonder why he didn't arrested him. Once everything there was under contral and everything was almost back to normal. Suzaku returns to the palace in the Avalon where Euphemia was waiting.

Suzaku walks up to the princess and smiles lightly. Euphemia helds out her hand with the pendent she head "Congrats, Suzaku...I'm so glad to see you are ok." Suzaku would nods "I'm sorry that I worried you, princess.." "So will you be my knight?" offers it back to him. There was still so many thoughts he was thinking and it was just hard for him really. Suzaku would take it from her. But he would have to wait until he head back to the academy lucky they was giving him a few days off to go cause everything when well. Which he was glad he was far behind in some of his classes.

Two days later after the attack and arrested of Sawasaki. Everyone was still talking about it at the academy. The Honorary Britannian was even congratted by the other students. It was rare that Suzaku got praise for it even thought some didn't know why he didn't arrested Zero when he was there. Suzaku walks across the campus and stops at the benches since there was time between classes that would get him some time to catch up on some of his school work before next class begans.

"Good work yourself, Kururugi Suzaku," Lelouch replied before closing the channel and launching the Gawain back into the air before the Britannian forces could do anything about it. Suzaku's float system might be more advanced but he had the advantage of knowing that the other wouldn't persue. He knew that his friend would probably be questioned about why he didn't arrest him but he was confident that Suzaku could handle it. The other was strong.

"Take us back to headquarters," Lelouch instructed C.C.. He leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes for a moment, allowing himself some time to rest. Even though they had wiped out the enemy forces so easily the battle had still taken its tole on Lelouch and he would need his wits about him when he returned to their comand centre and faced his knights. They would want to know the details and he would enlighten them somewhat before leaving to return to Ashford.

Thankfully the meeting didn't take as long as he had thought it would and he was able to return to his room in less time than he had expected. Tired from the days events he all but colapsed onto his bed and fell asleep almost instantly. The next few days passed by relatively quickly and before Lelouch knew it two days had passed. He was walking in the grounds when a mop of brown hair caught his eye. He smirked as he saw who it was and walked over to sit beside his friend.

"Hey," he said, smiling lightly at his friend as he sat close to Suzaku, closer than was strictly necessary but he hadn't seen his friend in a few days so he allowed himself that one liberty.

Suzaku bits his pen alittle fliping some pages over from his book and pulls his notebook out. He sighs alittle this was so much work but at lease it did give him to catch up. Looking up when he saw Lelouch caming over and sat down next to him. "Oh hey Lelouch...whats up?" says looking at him. Suzaku place the pen into his book and closes the book. "Its a good to see you again..its been days. Lucky they give me a few days off to catch up on my school work." chuckles gently.

He takes an look around alitte before he looks back over to Lelouch. "Is there somewhere we can go an talk privately. There is something I need to tell you about?" says. He still wasn't sure what to say to Lelouch but one thing was for sure he wasn't going to quit. He just hope Lelouch would kinda understand but not clearly sure how he would act after hearing he was kinda dating Euphemia.

"Of course," Lelouch replied easily. He stood and turned to face Suzaku. "We can go to the appartments that Milly and her family gave me and Nunnally. We'll have privacy there." Without waiting to see if Suzaku followed Lelouch began striding towards the home he shared here at Ashford with Nunnally. Since Suzaku requested the privazy Lelouch was sure that hisfriend would follow. He wondered what exactly Suzaku would want to talk about. Well he suposed he would find out soon enough.

Reaching the set of rooms he shared with Nunnally he walked in and did a quick check to make sure that his sister was still at her classes for the day. He glanced at the clock on the kitchen wall and noted taht they would have a few hours before she'd be done which suited Lelouch just fine. He didn't need to go to class anyway since he was confident that his grades were high enough anyway. He was leaps and bounds ahead of his peers and he and the teachers knew it. That was probably why they let him away with skipping so often but he was careful to balance out the time he spent in class and the time he did not. He was pushing it recently but he was sure that he would manage.

"So what would you like to talk to me about?" Lelouch asked, turning and sitting down on the couch in the room, reclining slightly.
