Elaine nodded.

"Fun stuff," she said as she settled in with him. "And the movie is rated PG-13, so they deemed it safe enough for kids thirteen and up to watch without parental supervision." She made sure to settle on the side of the bed closer to the door, so she could get up when room service got there.

Steve blinked but settled in to watch the movie, sliding an arm around her. He only let go once their food arrived, though he did get up so he could get it.

Elaine got up as well when the food arrived, but sat down again when Steve got to the door first. She did pause the movie, though, so he wouldn't miss any of it.

Steve smiled and nodded and tipped the man, taking the cart that had been wheeled up for them and pulling it into the room before closing the door. He laughed quietly when he noticed how much food she'd ordered for them.

"How'd you guess I was hungry?"

Elaine grinned back.

"I like to think I know you by now," she replied. "But you're sharing the mac and cheese, though."

Steve grinned. "Of course," he said, moving over to her again and pulling the cart over with him. Who needed a table when the bed would suffice?

Elaine moved over to make room, and waited until he took some of the food before helping herself. She wanted to make sure he got what he needed first, since he typically ate a lot more than she did.

Steve made sure to save a portion of the mac and cheese for her, pushing it over to her before settling back. So far he was definitely liking this vacation. He'd already decided they needed to do this more often.

Elaine didn't really want to get out of bed the next morning. The appeal of going to the museum was very nearly outweighed by the appeal of staying in bed with Steve. She was snuggled up close to him, and really didn't want to move yet.

Steve was already awake, because he didn't tend to sleep in, but he hadn't bothered getting up, either. He felt he was allowed to lounge there for a bit, one arm around Elaine, fingers idly toying with the ends of her hair.

"Morning," she murmured to him when she was a bit more awake. She snuggled in a bit closer, wincing slightly when she moved sore muscles and fighting back a blush as she thought about what cause the soreness. "How did you sleep?"

Steve smiled a little. "Very well," he said quietly, shifting to press a kiss to her temple. "And you?" He tightened his arm around her a little, still worried that he might have accidentally hurt her.

Elaine snuggled closer.

"I slept just fine," she replied. "Like a rock."

Steve's smile widened at that and he nodded, settling in again. He was too comfortable to get up.

"Sure you want to go to that museum?" he asked quietly, rather amused. She wasn't exactly trying to get up either.

"I'm not even sure I want to get up to soak in the hot bath that I swear is calling my name," Elaine replied, stretching lazily. She promptly curled back up and snuggled in when her muscles started complaining again. He had been very gentle with her, and she was grateful, but she still ached.

Steve noticed that she curled up again, thought about it for a few seconds, and decided it was probably best to just not comment unless she said something.

Besides, he had no idea how to bring up the subject.

"Well, we don't have to do anything today," he murmured, securing his arm around her again.

"I still kind of want to see the museum, but I don't really want to move," Elaine said. "Doing nothing sounds really nice." At least until they had to get back to real life again, but doing nothing until then sounded like a plan.

Steve chuckled quietly. "Whatever you'd like," he said quietly, closing his eyes again to relax for a little while longer. He knew he couldn't stay in bed and do nothing all day, but he could always get up in a little bit to get his sketch book.

Elaine snuggled in and laid her head on his chest, just relaxing. She even dozed for a little while, content. Finally, though, she did make herself get up. She wanted that hot soak, if nothing else. She couldn't help but blush a bit when she slipped out of the blankets to collect her things, even though she knew he'd seen all of her by now.

Steve noticed the blush and, gentleman that he was, turned the other way and stretched so she'd have a bit of privacy. He'd wait until she was in the tub to get up and clean up a bit before getting dressed.

Once Elaine had the bath ready, she sank into the hot water with a sigh. It felt wonderful, and the heat soothed away the ache in her muscles.

Steve ended up getting dressed and settling in a chair sketching while Elaine took her bath. He didn't mind the quiet, and he figured she might want some privacy.

Although it would have been very slightly easier to sketch her if he'd been able to keep glancing at her, but oh well. He'd looked at her often enough that he had her lines memorized.

Elaine lounged in the bath a while longer, and then got out to get dressed. She ended up just putting on comfy jeans and a tee, and then she went to see what Steve was doing.

By then, Steve was absorbed in his drawing, head tilted to the side and his tongue poking out just a little as he tried to finish the drawing.

Going over, Elaine perched on the arm of the chair, trying to look over his shoulder.

"What are you working on?" she asked.
