Kae smiled a little, settling in there.

"Good advice," she said quietly. "If I can keep it in mind long enough."

"I'm sure you'll manage," Bruce said, letting her get comfortable.

"You won't let me forget, you mean," Kae teased gently with a grin, scratching at his scalp again.

"That too," Bruce replied, eyes closing as he relaxed. The Hulk gave a deep rumble in the back of his mind and settled a bit as well.

Kae grinned and kissed his neck before settling down there for a bit. She could worry about things later.

Bruce settled in comfortably there with her.

"It'll all work out," he said quietly to her. "Tony will whine, but that's normal."

"Whining is normal, him actually getting pissed is not," Kae said. "I'd rather avoid the latter if at all possible."

"Like I said, he probably won't get honestly upset," Bruce said. "Just a bit annoyed."

"As long as it's only annoyed, we can deal with that." Kae rested there. "What about you? What do you think of all this?"

"I, uh... don't have much of an opinion, I guess," Bruce said after a minute. "Charles has tried to recruit me before, so I know how he can be." He looked at her. "I guess if it's what you want, and it makes you happy, I'm fine with it."

"With anyone else I'd say you're just bullshitting me, but since it's you, you're probably not." Kae shook her head a little.

"I'd have to steal you if I decided to stay with them, though, for any length of time."

"You would put me in the middle of a mansion full of teenage mutants?" Bruce asked, looking at her with a bit of a grin. "That's not a good idea."

"Even if you did Hulk out, which I doubt because your control is legendary, Hulk likes me enough that I could get him to calm down. Or at least focus his attention away from the mansion." Kae grinned, confident about that.

"I still don't think it's such a good idea," Bruce said. He looked at her. "And I think you overestimate my control over the Other Guy."

"Oh, I don't think so," Kae said with a smile. "But that's okay, we're not going to be testing that theory." She paused. "Although I think Tony mentioned something about throwing me off the Tower to get me to learn how to fly, so I might want the Other Guy around to keep me from going splat."

"That, I think I can do," Bruce replied with a bit of a smile.

Kae grinned and snuggled closer to him again, relaxing for the moment. She could worry about what to do later.

As promised, Bruce (reluctantly) went with Tony and Kae to visit the Xavier Institute. He wasn't particularly comfortable being around so many people, especially teenagers, but he was fairly sure he could handle it for the day.

Kae was quiet until they got there, and Tony had the suitcase armor with him. They both stopped to greet Xavier when he came out to see them.

"Morning, professor," Kae said, while Tony muttered something along those lines.

"Ah, good morning," Xavier replied, giving them a warm smile. He wasn't surprised at all to see Tony and Bruce with her.

"I figured I'd come check things out here," Kae said cautiously, looking at him. "Just get an idea of what I'm thinking about getting into." She only stressed 'thinking about' a little bit, so he'd know that she hadn't made up her mind. Which he probably already knew, but still.

Xavier nodded.

"Of course," he said. "I always encourage making informed decisions."

Kae nodded and smiled, relaxing a bit at that.

"So maybe I could sit in on a class or something, get an idea?" She raised her eyebrows, leaving the decision up to him how they proceeded.

"Whatever you like," Xavier said. He could hear her surface thoughts without even trying, although he didn't comment out of courtesy. "You're free to wander around as you like."

"Alright. Thanks, Professor." Kae smiled at him. "How about we go take a look around?" She glanced at the other two as well. Having Xavier with them would likely make things a little easier.
