"I'm just over a month in, it won't be even remotely bad for another like four months, I think. I'm pretty sure." Kae shrugged. "Four or five months, something like that. We're fine for now."

"I just want to be sure," Bruce said. "There's no harm in being careful." And, if he was honest, he was worried about himself, too. The whole situation had his stress running higher than usual, and it would take less to set off the Hulk.

"Alright, alright. I'll distract you tomorrow after we've had a chance to look stuff up on the Internet." Kae grinned briefly and kissed him before she started getting ready to get up.

Bruce returned the kiss and let her get up, watching her go.

Kae vanished into the bathroom to take a quick shower and get dressed before she went to go see if Bruce still intended to join her in telling Tony.

"So, you coming with, or shall I brave the dragon's den on my own this morning?"

"If you still want me to go with you, I will," Bruce said, nodding.

"Then get some pants on." Kae grinned briefly and tossed him a pair of pants.

Bruce just rolled his eyes and pulled on a pair of slacks and a shirt, tucking his glasses into a pocket. Then he gestured for Kae to go.

Kae led the way down to the lab, glancing around. "Tony?"

"Over here." Tony waved an arm from one of his work benches.

"Hey, I need your list of pre-approved doctors."

"Why? Are you sick?" Tony popped to his feet quickly, frowning as he made his way over to them.

Bruce wanted to tell Tony to relax, that it was nothing to worry about, but he'd have been lying. Instead, he just slipped an arm around Kae's waist gently and waited for the cousins to hash things out.

"I'm not sick, Tony," Kae said quietly. "I'm just... I'm pregnant." Because she knew if she didn't tell him, he'd just have Jarvis run scans.

Tony was silent for several moments, looking at her and Bruce both. "Really? I thought you said you couldn't?" He looked at Bruce. At least he wasn't upset.

"I thought so, too," Bruce replied. "It shouldn't have been possible."

"We'll worry about that later. How far along are you?" Tony looked at Kae.

"Just over a month, at a guess. I haven't seen anyone yet, thus why I asked you for the doctors." Kae gave him a look.

"I'll find someone and have her--I presume you want a her, anyway--here as soon as possible."

Kae paused at that. "Why here? I can go wherever just fine, I know how to drive."

"It might be better to have a doctor come here," Bruce said to Kae gently. "Safer."

Kae's eyes narrowed a bit as she looked between the two of them before she nodded grudgingly. "Alright, fine," she said quietly. "The doctor can come here. And let's not tell the others just yet, okay?"

"Sure, 'course not, no problem," Tony said, waving her over to a bench. "Why don't you sit and I'll get on finding that doctor and we can take some base stats for our own purposes. Right Bruce?"

Bruce nodded, although he was reluctant to let go of Kae yet. Eventually, he did, and let her make herself comfortable.

Kae got comfortable there, holding out her arm to let Tony and Bruce get blood pressure and a blood sample and all that. She looked grumpy though.

Kae looked grumpy and Tony looked tense and both of those things combined made Bruce want to just go meditate somewhere for a while. The tension was thick in the lab.

Then the doctor arrived and shooed Tony and Bruce away, putting up a screen so she could examine Kae in some privacy.

"Well, I can tell you that she's fine," the doctor said as she emerged from behind the screen.

Tension that Bruce had been ignoring bled out of him some.

"That's good to hear," he said.

"Call me if she starts experiencing morning sickness. I told her she might want to start taking a multivitamin, as well, just in case. Other than that, I'll be back in a month to check on her progress." The doctor smiled at both of them.

Bruce nodded, and then went in to see Kae.

Kae zipped her jeans again, still grumbling, and then stretched.

"See? Clean bill of health. I'm perfectly fine."

"Good," Bruce said. "I'm glad." Leaning over, he gave her a small kiss.

Kae hummed and kissed him again, moving closer to him.

"Everything will be fine, you don't need to worry."
